JOE - PLEASE consider pulling a tune out of the vault for the show in NAPA....such as LUMINOUS FLESH GIANTS and or THE MIGHTY TURTLE HEAD!

I went to see Johnny Winter tonight....sad to say he has trouble with his solos now. Check the crossroads blues festival from this summer on you tube and you will see what I mean. I had hoped he just had an off night but no , it is true. I will share my pics soon...bummer

JS1200JS1000.... thanks! Been living on the rock (lol) for about 8 years. Previous to that I lived in North Bay. What area of ON do you reside? Did you get the TO tickets for Joe? I'm still trying to get meet and greet tickets with no luck... either they're sold out, or they were not offered for that show.

Why can't Ticket Master come up with a ticket delivery option other than "Will Call, no sooner than one-hour before performance time, purchaser must be there to show ID and credit card used" so that someone who wants to buy Premium Tickets as a gift can do it. I wanted to buy Premium Concert Tickets for the upcoming Atlanta Concert for a very loyal Joe Satriani fan for his birthday and was told by the Ticket Master Supervisor there was no other way. Very sad.

CathyB, I'm thinking you could go to the venue with whoever the gift is for, get the tix, hand them over, and then find something to do in the area until the show is over. Ever think of getting a regular ticket for yourself so you could see the show too? That way you'll all get to see Joe. He is quite wunnerful after all.

T-Bones, I tole you Firefox, but you had to listen to McOCDgamer at 4 in the morning. If you would have listened to McTurtle, you would be in better shape and not so confuzzled. :-)

Austin- I just remember you saying you had a Droid; I wasn't sure how many models were produced prior to the current line-up. I do remember reading that Android 2.2 will support Flash, but even the Samsung Fascinate does not have 2.2 yet, and it just recently hit the market. She is wanting to return it for a Droid just to have the Flash capability, but it may be worth waiting for because otherwise that phone does everything we throw at it. It's kind of sad that it plays Youtube videos faster than my computer!

Napa People- If anybody decides they can't make it to the Napa gig please let me know, I may try to squeeze that giant trip in if someone needs to offload a ticket. Not that I expect anyone will back out, but in case something comes up I may be able to absorb the cost of a ticket. Otherwise I'll stick to my plan and wait for the regular west coast shows.

Michelle- I was actually listening to the radio earlier (which is very rare for me) and heard a Disturbed song that I really liked- 'Another Way to Die' was the name of it, I believe. I was excited about it and I know you really like them so I had to rush on here and tell you about it!
I really should listen to the radio more often. I'll be the first to admit that my taste in music is probably too limited. I guess I just stick to the songs that I love. There was a song right after Disturbed that I liked too; Shaman's Harvest- 'Dragonfly'. I've never even heard of these guys before!

Restringing today; in the mood for change so I'm putting on 10's for the first time in about a year. I always like the transition back to 9's after using the heavier gauge for a few weeks.

Ian

Joe,

I am a 62 year old drummer (a month younger than Sammy) and just wanted to comment that Chickenfoot is one of, if not the best, Rock group to come along in at least 30 years. With what you have done in the short time you guys were together it says to me that if the group stays together it will become iconic and be talked about for many years to come. I'm hopeful that something can be worked out with Chad to make Chickenfoot a staple on the rock menu for many years to come. If the second album keeps up with the momentum the first album initiated it could break this thing wide open.

Thanks for the first album! Now I need to see you guys in Chicago!
