Hey guys.
I have a question that has probably already been asked before, so forgive me for asking again, but I am wondering whether the bonus tracks are available ONLY to people living in the USA, and not to us poor Europeans :(? Or have I been led astray? (fingers crossed the answer is yes! :D)
One more question... I'm new to the whole concert thing still, and i'm going to the show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, and i am curious about something... despite the fact that we have all be given seats and what not, is it safe to assume that everyone will be rocking out on their feet and busting-a-move in the aisles?
Thanks!

Guess the Oakland presale today is only for premium tix, 2mo is for the regular peeps, presale. It's also looking like it's a seated venue....I was hoping for a GA pit :((( cuz I can't be online tomorrow morning at the crack of 10 for tickets. Damn.

I still haven't received the MP3 download yet with the cd pre order. It's been about 3 weeks or a little longer now. should it take this long? Kind of a bummer. The CD might be here before the MP3 download is.
Oh well, just one more week if the cd hits the mailbox on time!!
Kayla, if Joe ever plays OKC I will probably equal your HOLY SHIT posts!! lol. I have been a fan since my landlords son in Naples Italy banged my door down with the new release of Surfing.....and I have had everything since. But there are 2 things I have not had....a live show ever :( and I have never had an autograph. Almost made it to a Dallas show a couple of years ago, but family emergencies came up. And I had tix to see Chickenfoot in Tulsa, but my wife had emergency surgery the day before.....again :( I am excited for your Spokane show! Post lots of pix.
Would still love to see Joe do a live version of It's So Good. Just love that song.

@ Hybes,
if your after the MP3 of Light Years Away, then you probably already have it. If you have played the song from the satriani home page, it is saved into your temporary internet files folders. It has an obscure name, on my pc it is GKdLYrn34NFr.128[1].mp3. I just copied into my music folder and renamed it, job done !
Hope that helps

I finally preordered the Satch CD, and I don't have a presale password in my confirmation email. For everyone else who has a password, what was the subject line of your email? How late did it come, compared to the regular order confirmation email?
TheBob - Now that more tour dates are out, have you gotten an email with your password? You were asking about that a while ago...

Austin, my password came in the email titled "Joe Satriani Global Store Order Receipt for Order ID #........." I pre-ordered two cd's, so I got two different passwords in the same email. If I remember correctly, it was maybe only a coupla days after buying the cd's that I got my code, even though there were no west coast tour dates up at that time. I've been sitting on them, waiting to use them :)

Has anyone who preordered the CD after the first round of tickets went on sale (8/23 at 10 a.m.) received a presale code? And hybes, you said you haven't gotten your MP3...did you get a presale code?
cheese101 - Thanks... I got an email with that subject just a few seconds after placing my order, but there wasn't a presale code included. And I just now got an email saying my CD has been shipped.
Argh...
If anyone else is having the same problem as me and TheBob, I found this form:
http://www.sonymusicdigital.com/joe-satriani/contact/new?domain=sonymusicdigital.com
I'm not sure if it'll do any good, but it's worth a shot.

First and foremost, thanks to Joe and his management team for coming to Portland, Oregon on the Wormhole tour. I now have my meet and greet ticket secured. I haven't been this excited for a new Satriani album in years.
I am also enjoying the podcasts and introductions to the songs. It is great to see the music being created in the studio with all the different guitars used on the songs. I think I even saw the JS model with the three single coil configuration that was played during the Hendrix Experience tour. I also see that the 24 fret JS is being used as well. I will be super excited to see them closer in person during the concert in January.
Looking forward to the CD release next week!

*Braces self for barrage of shit*
The new stuff sounds very nice, well done and all that but is there anything new there? is there anything a bit 'out there'? As someone said to me 'a yard better than the 'foot' but that don't mean much. I'll wait til I get the CD to pass final judgement but so far it hasn't got my juices flowing over new and exciting stuff.
*Ducks for cover chuckling*

Yep, it sounds like it will be better that PSATMOR, but although technically good I found PSATMOR somewhat self indulgent.
