hello to all of Satch World!

Just wanted to say that i've bought the album here in the UK today and it's truly, unbelievably amazing - for me it takes everything I love from my favourite previous Satch albums and mixes them all together into one spectacular record.

It might not top Super Colossal (which is my current favourite) though it's getting mighty close already, and it's only day 1 of listening!

I'm in the process of recording my own instrumental rock album (heavily Satch influenced I should add - but not too much obviously) and am seriously considering using one of the songs on the new album as a cover song for the live show! I'd love to hear people's suggestions as to which one they recon would convey best live - though i'm by no means saying it would compare to the man himself - this would just be my way paying homage :)

Glad to know that there's alot of happy rock fans out there listening to this album too - keep it going!

chow for now Andy :)

Salut Joe, from Paris, France! Merci beaucoup, Thanks a bunch for this Reeeaaalllyy great album!! It teaches us guys a real lesson in music evolution. How to keep it real, fresh, incredibily groovy, rock and smooth. I just got the album and I can't tell you how many times I've listened to it already! The music you make, I like, not doubt about it, and it's been 25 years. As I told you once in 1995: "your music is the sound of my life". No kiddin'(just a little) but today, I can die happy, and undesappointed, the new Joe's out and it's reeal gooooooood!!!!! The significance of the expression : Pyrrhic Victoria, really makes sense to some people on this planet!

Tracie, Chris & Mahavishnu Brian just saw Joe roll up to the venue with the top down and a big smile on his face. They even helped him park his car. lmao! They had a quick convo, hugs & pics, then Joe took off for sound check. Now they're getting to hear all that too :-)

Fun night in Napa!

ok now...i've been putting off not buying the extended edition cause I don't like the idea of buying two of the same cd's...but dang it, who am I kidding... I really need those two bonus tracks... .. .

my local store doesn't carry Joe's new album so I've got to order it online...then someone posts that they ordered the album and it doesn't have the two bonus tracks?...bogus man...hope they fix that right away...

it's nice to have the cd instead of downloaded versions...

Best Buy will let me reserve them if I just call and place the order...then they would ship the cd's from their warehouse to my local Best Buy... no charge if I back out later...so i'm just gonna stock up the nearest Best Buy with about a dozen or so of Joe's new album "Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards" with bonus tracks and all :)

Love the new album. I was just bummed when I received it on the 1st that the 2 bonus tracks were missing, forcing me to go get a 2nd copy at best buy today with the bonus tracks. I will have to say that I am glad I did. These are 2 of my favorite tracks on the album (wormhole wizards being my hands down favorite.)

Another killer album by the master. Can't wait to see him live on 12/20, front and center...

Aloha Joe,

I really like your new album and I can't wait to see you in December at Strathmore! Great Job!

One of my favorite songs is from Time Machine. That song is "Speed of Light". Any thoughts about playing that live and tying it in with "Light Years Away"? Just a thought....

Also, is it an evening with you and your bandmates or will you have an opening act this tour?

Thank you for creating "strange beautiful music".

Mehalo,

Bill

Joe,

Every album released I think " Maybe you'll come back to Milwaukee this time "....so far again we are not listed on the tour dates. If my memory is correct the last time you played Milwaukee in support of your own solo album was back in 2004 at the Pabst Theater a full 6 years ago. Please take the short trip from Chicago and visit us once again. Seriously, tell your management that you need to come and play Milwaukee and we want you here! I know there are others out there in Milwaukee who would love to have you back!

Thank you for listening.....

The new record is good..... love the catchy tunes.

...and I'm happy it's not so compressed like the last 2 albums. Good Mix/Mastering for a new Rock album. Say no to LOUDNESS WAR!

Slackers??? Nah...the show ran late because after about six songs, the smoke machines set off the fire alarm! We had to evacuate...I blame Sammy Hagar and his "Smoke" nickname for Joe. ;-)

Tracie took a picture of the setlist; I'll wait for her to post it in full. But we got Why, Memories, War, Crystal Planet, and Big Bad Moon in addition to the standards and maybe seven BSAWW songs. It was a great mix of everything, and Why is my favorite Satch song so I'm happy.

More from me later, when I'm on a computer instead of my phone.

EDIT - Oh, and our webmaster has some awesome purple hair! I think Tracie was able to get a picture...haha.

...Austin...

Hey Joe, The new album is an amzing accomplishment. I really feel you pulled a Black Swan! There is so much diversity, & melody, & the tone is very articulate. But I have one question. Why didn'nt the folks (like me) that pre-ordered the CD get the 2 bonus tracks? I mean I really feel that as much support & promotion that I have done over the years, & that I will continue to do being as that I am a Guitar Teacher. I would love to have those 2 extra trks instead of having to pay more for them. I will if I have to, but we who pre-orderd already paid more for our disc than if we download the whole album or buy it at BB. We still love you Joe. I just know your about pleasing your fans. And allot of them are upset about not getting those trks. Longing made me have goosebumps. It would be cool if sent us alink to download them for free. Don't think we don't appreciate the signed jackets, becasue we do. But the music is what we all want. We always want more SATCH!! Thanks Joe for your love of music. Sincerely,

Troy Clark

Nice!!! I never thought Joe would sing again, so it's nice to see BBM on the list, as well as Memories. I'm relieved that I didn't miss DWCAE, but a little worried that it may spend another tour collecting dust.
