Guitarman: errrrr... No. I wouldn't think Joe would have one of those, he has repainted js1000 and 1200's, not a cheapy.

The other one I know of was a competition prize given away to best video uploaded to chickenfoot.us

FINALLY, got bs

Loving the new album Joe! Hopefully i'll be able to get it signed at the Cincinnati show on Dec. 7th. I don't know if you're familiar with "the drummer at the wrong gig" video that went viral on youtube, but I'm the new guitarist for that band (Rick K and the Allnighters) I appreciate your music and it has influenced m...e greatly as it has many guitarists across the globe. You opened up a whole new world for me on guitar when i discovered your music at 13 years old (now 26), i guess in a way you're a wormhole wizard for opening up a new world for me on guitar LOL. Anyways.. Thanks a bunch Joe, keep having fun with that guitar!

rosanpl, I dunno cuz I wasn't there, but I've always found that all the people Joe has working for him to be wonderful and kind. As Flash said, that lady was most likely an employee of the Borders Store and not one of Joe's. He has always been extremely gracious and happy to sign whatever people bring him to sign. I'm sorry for your poor experience, please don't be mad at Joe, he can't always control what's happening around him.

Austin, how did your signing go? Different experience I'm betting :) And thanks again for taking care of Pip, we tried but the cd's were all sold out so you saved the day AGAIN!!!

Debbie, you know we luv you and Brian, yer the perfect pair, lol!! Made of Tears is Made for Mahavishnu :D I couldn'ta been more happy that you made it to the Napa show...you SO needed to be there!! WE LOVE YOUR BOSS!!!

Sigh....it's Monday. Off to work. I love my job...but I love going to see Joe much more :D

PS....Chad, yeah, a t shirt is ALL you get for yer Club Joe package...just that, nuthin else, there isn't even a show....just collect that and go home, scoot....if anything else comes up I'll take care of it fer ya :D :D :D *throws kisses*

rosanpl - Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the signing. I've been lucky enough to meet Joe several times, as have others here, and we'll all tell you that Joe/his manager/others are some of the nicest people out there. So it was probably a Borders employee you had the problem with, if I had to guess.

I went to the signing in LA and it went well. Joe spent plenty of time talking to everyone and he signed two things per person. We talked about the fire alarm at the Napa show, I told him I loved hearing Why (my favorite Satch song), and he told me a bit about the technical side of that song (how Digitech doesn't have the parts to make him a new pedal to use for that song). I quickly told him my thoughts on the new album and then a Best Buy employee told me to get moving.

It was good, mostly, but I do have to say it was SEVERELY underpromoted. I don't think there were even 100 people in line by the time it started. I bought the CD on release day, but they didn't have it on display...there were only a few copies under "S" in the rock section. And they didn't advertise the signing aside from having a few flyers by the registers...but I still had to ask for my wristband at checkout.

Rhythmsteady - You were in the first group of 15 at the LA signing, right? I was in the second group...we must have just missed each other. Do you have a picture of yourself/Joe that you can share?
axeshredderjc - That's AutoTune that you're hearing on Joe's guitar in Wind In The Trees.

...Austin...

Woops Double post:

Anyway, I was listening to BSAWW on te way to hockey training, it was the first time that he had heard it. After every song I would ask him what he thought and he would reply however. What was interesting was that he like the songs best when they were typical 'Satch' e.g. Dream Song and God is Crying.

I got to listen to BCC for the first time and it was awesome. If you looked up the definition of Hard Rock in a dictionary it would be a picture of Joe Bonamassa and the crew.

Distorted Soul: Well I'm still trying it with different combinations and that but it just doesn't sound like Satch. I thought it would be easy, Joe's amp, Joe's tone but oh well. It's still a good all rounder. (Doesn't blow my head off like the 130watt Twin Reverb I've got sat up in m room)

Who likes Phyco Monkey? I'm in te middle of learning it, just the last Verse/Chorus to go!

Ahh- Finally back from Oregon. What an exhausting trip, and I have to turn around and drive back on Thursday, ugh!

On the plus side, when I got back the other day I had several boxes waiting for me on the doorstep...
My PSATMOR autographed CD, two autographed BSAWW CD's, a deluxe edition of PSATMOR, and Paul Gilbert's Fuzz Universe.

I was surprised to find that the Deluxe PSATMOR I ordered is a Malaysian import. It wasn't listed as such on the website when I ordered it, so I'm not sure whether I want to keep it or send it back. I suppose there may not be any U.S. versions of that album left.
If that wasn't bad enough, one of my two autographed BSAWW inserts got mangled up inside the box when the packer folded it shut, so that one has kind of lost its luster. I may have to give Sony a call today and see if there's any way I can get a replacement.

And, finally- to complete my 'collection'; ITLIS? arrived safe and sound from Japan this morning. Unfortunately, I don't want to remove the Obi Strip, so I'll just have to stick with the low-quality version of DWCAE I have now.

Scubadaz-Funny you should mention Avenida Revolucion. I picked up the Chickenfoot tab book last week and started messing around with that song this morning.

Ian
