it does actually

I wouldn't mind anyone taking my music and messing about with it once it all was above board of course... i'd think its kinda cool ...but not a fan of the song myself

wireless printers are annoying, trying to install it on the desktop here, not having any fun

Posted on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 14:28:59 EST      JOE SATRIANI has just released his 14th studio album, Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards, with the highest opening chart position ever for the multi Grammy-nominated guitarist. The album debuted today on the Billboard chart with Satriani’s highest spot in nearly 18 years - #45.

See the entire article Here

I also like this quote from the article: Satriani’s classic six-string sound has become a staple on the American music scene and is now matched with a tantalizingly rich texture of new material as well. All together, both album and tour, Joe Satriani’s Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards promises nothing less than a magical, musical experience that lifts the spirit and takes flight.

The article also lists the three Texas dates and venues in case anyone is interested :)

Wow, fantastic news Joe, BIG CONGRATS TO YOU!!!

Wow! I just entered a contest giveaway for the Ibanez Joe Limited Edition JS20 20th Anniversary 'Silver Sufer' Model (I dont think the Silver Surfer is 3D like the one Joe is showcasing in the video from Ibanez.com. But it IS still awesome) Oooooooh what a BEAUTY!!!!!!! I wanty!!!. It was my first time seeing it, and what a gorgeous guitar!!!! How proud and happy I would be to own that!!! And damn, how cool to of been able to attend that personal private show at Namm last year. I was just watching all the vid's over at IBANEZ.COM :)

Cheese101---------Lol at your comment about Joe's art :) You cracked me up....I absolutely ADORE his character drawings!!!! They are sooo cute!!!! I got the white set of picks and I can just stare at them forever, I think they are just so adorable and interesting and they just make me smile :-) Has he released a sketch book of his drawings??? I gotta have.

JOE----EVER CONSIDER RELEASING A LITTLE BOOK OF SOME OF YOUR CHARACTERS??? YOU SHOULD!!! :-)

PHYRHIC VICTORIA!!!!! It's got to be one of my other favorites off this album. What a gorgeous and Powerful song! That 'symphonic' sound he gets with his guitar at the end and the way he lets' it scream out like that. Just those few notes, simply stunning. And that groove! Adore those little 'Chirps' he get's at the beginning. And once again, that TONE. Drop dead gorgeous tones!!!

I love all of these new tracks, and LONGING is really beautiful.....Yeah, should of included this one for sure. Thanks Joe for it as a bonus track at least! :)

Rhythmsteady- I like your ability to describe what you like about Joes's songs.....sometimes I start to write specific things and it all just turns into kinda generic terms so I erase it but you totally covered some of the things I love about that song!!!!

Does anyone know the 'story' behind Pyrrhic Victoria? (Other than the obvious play on pyrrhic victory)

Suzi, I would have but the lovely Deb beat me to it and posted a link to everyone's friend. I didn't watch the podcasts or listen to snippets from the album until I could listen to the whole thing because I didn't want to have any preconceived ideas as to what the album would be like.

Joe Satriani - Please tell us the 'story' behind Pyrrhic Victoria.

scuba you make an excellent point - and unfortunately this is the case - however doesn't it make you just a little proud to be one of those 20-30 T2joe'ers that show and voice their appreciation in return for just being happy and excited about being a Satch fan and sharing the love with other like minded people? I sure do, and I have to say this is easily the nicest and most respectful forum i've ever posted in and you guys are some of the best people on the internet!

thanks to all :)

Mantekz6: I can certainly understand your interest in taking guitar lessons from a master like Joe. I have come to the conclusion, however, that there isn't much knowledge that Joe can impart which isn't already out there for the resourceful and determined to find. It then only becomes a matter of putting in the time and effort to master the techniques and learn the theory, This is where many give up or only put in a half-hearted effort.

Joe- love the new album. Great groove on " the golden room ". Also, I just watched the 2nd webisode and I think you need to write and release a full version of the egg salad sandwich song you guys played while foolin' around. Thanks for the continuous entertainment and inspiration.
