Ok meet n greeters for dublin show if u didnt get the email...( the day of the gig at that) ...follow these steps

Thank you for your Joe Satriani VIP package purchase. Below is important information regarding your package.
MEETING TIME & PLACE
Please meet our Joe Satriani VIP tour coordinator, LINDSEY LONG, in front of the venue box office at 4:00PM.
The Joe Satriani meet & greet will begin shortly after this time.
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
PHOTOGRAPH & AUTOGRAPH WITH JOE
Please bring a camera to the meet & greet for your personal photograph with Joe.
Joe will sign up to (2) personal items including guitars and various memorabilia.
VIP MERCHANDISE
VIP merchandise items will be distributed at the meet & greet (collectible poster, laminate, guitar strap and picks).
CONCERT TICKET
Joe Satriani VIP packages do not include a ticket to the concert. A ticket to the concert must be purchased to attend the meet & greet.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
If you have ANY questions/concerns regarding the meet and greet, please email: TICKETS@FANFIRE.COM
If you purchased the package as a gift for someone else, please bring a note with photocopy of your ID.
The note should explain who purchased the package and who it was given/transferred to.

MAKE SURE YOU BRING THE WAIVER WITH YOU WITH PROPER PHOTO I.D.
We want everyone to have fun, but there are a few rules that you must abide by for the safety of yourselves.
Keep in mind that every backstage is unique and therefore each tour could vary slightly.
PACKAGE RULES
There will be NO BEVERAGES OR FOOD permitted backstage.
NO ALCOHOL
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING
ABSOLUTELY NO AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR WILL BE TOLERATED.
PLEASE USE THE REST ROOM PRIOR TO GOING BACKSTAGE.
Please watch where you are walking backstage. Be aware of cables, cases and other working personnel.

I know this may be kind of late, but everyone knows the intro improv from Time Machine in "Live In Paris". Has anybody listened to it as they slowly drifted off to sleep??? Not the whole song, but just the intro.

That is some amazing stuff. You're gently falling asleep and feeling the peaceful music slowly drift you farther into the that sleep. You should really try it one day. It just makes you feel so comfortable as you fade into dreamland.
Kind of a random statement, but when I listened to the concert, before I went to bed, I would fast forward to Time Machine. And I just listened to it again the other night. It just amazing to listen to as you fall asleep.

Hello joe :), i have a question, i don't mean to be disrespectful, or scratch any scar, you had a song which i love "if i could fly" which had some legal problems, and i heard you came to an off court agreement, is that why you never perform this song live? or at least i've never seen any performances of this song.
Before i go, i just want to say i am a huge fan, i play guitar also about two years playing now, you're my idol and my inspiration, i just love your music and could listen to it forever! Keep doing what you do best and rock that guitar out!.

hi joe, hope you uk tour is rocking,was hoping to see you at bristol but the tickets i bought for me and my girlfriend are fakes apparently!! so hope to see you next time! ps just uploaded a video to youtube called " yeovilton home of the sea harrier" iv put your song " if " as the soundtrack, hope thats ok, dont want to piss you off. bye for now, keep on rocking

Joe, I loved your new album, it's really deep and full of your personality. Solitude, Winds In The Trees, and God Is Crying are the best songs of the album. Solitude its like the second part of Baroque, loved it!
I was hopping you would come to Halifax!!!

Yes js1200js1000, the meet & greets are not for the working class. Still I have a pic with Joe and an autograph; I just waited 6 hours outside the venue like fans used to do, until Joe showed up.

I almost flipped my lid when I saw the shirt Joe was wearing in this Video, I have the same shirt and it's a favorite of mine.
It's funny to think that at the time when Surfing came out I was a kid collecting Silver Surfer comics, then one day my dad comes home with a CD with the Silver Surfer on the Cover. My Mind was blown.
I still have that shirt, I think I'll wear it to the show in December.
P.S. I think I listened to Wormhole Wizards at least 20 times in the last two days. It took the longest for me to get into this song and now I can't stop listening to it it's so Epic.

I have seen this vid recently but watching it again I notice that
when the camera scrolls down the white board of songs God is Crying is crossed out. Seems a little insane but I think the song found a new better home in the end.

...Hey man.You wouldnt believe how much food I have to eat to stay alive hey joe I mean alot I am austrian man with a canadian name of siclian dielecnht.I have ate 12 loaves of big loaves of multigrain bread since october 11th in sanwichs thats whiel eating suppers with me 2 and 3 kinds of vegatables off a platter every night and hot cereal and toast for breakefast .I have to work take money from buissness collect dissabilty do all these things just so I have enough food!.I eat golly welll I dont realy know1000.00 worth of food a month cmha meeting is usualy 200.00 worth twice then 130.a week locally maybe 200 a week so about 1000.. 1100 a month because im so huge and powerful and strong you here me man this is for real and I havent been to the foodbank in 10years man.Plus Mile I drink 12-14 liters of milk sometimes a week so including milk maybe 1200.00 amonth and I really do have to eat like that or i become sick in my mind man anyways later wolf2 and all of this is cholesetrol free man later wolf2.moms out visiting her friend later wolf2.

aahh, heavy sighs...
So they are in the venue right now basking in Joe's genius, stellar musicianship. Im sooooo envious. Just dying that I gotta wait till Jan.
Man, it kills me, bands always seem to start in the European countries first. No offense to you guys, but it drives me crazy.
BUT......I Wish all a wonderful time at the shows and meeting Joe :)
Geeez-------ok, im beginning to worry with the posts about VIP not incuding a ticket or whatever. HUH?? Yeah, this working class chick did NOT pay $300 just to do the meet n greet. Which IS a wonderful thing, but I coulda swore when I bought the package, my 2nd row seat was included. It better be or I will come un-glued.

T, thanks for the vid! I love that one. I still laugh my ass off at the CF vid when Joe is "snoshing". Dunno why that hits my funny bone so hard, but it always does. I can't even write it without giggling. lol!
Best of luck for a speedy recovery for TJ Lavin. Dude took a nasty, nasty fall. Those guys are built tough, so hopefully he'll be right as rain in a few months.
This song is so heavy, yet Steve is so light and fluffy..
And now...I'm the hell outta here!

JS1000----Yeah, im a bit confused with that too. Ok, yeah, got seat i know my eyes don't decieve me. But that email message to Blue Moon, the one he got just before the show, when i read it, me got very confused. Gonna go back and read the package details again. lol ,....yikes
It's true, he does seem to post on his Twitter account more than here. I would guess that he gets a bit frazzled maybe with all the messages here, wanting to read them all, but no time too. ?.And Twitter messages have to be really short, so perhaps he doesn't feel so stressed out to go thru those. I know I would feel less stressed!
Twitter is really cool in that you can set his messages to come straight to your phone as a text message. Very very cool ;)

Civ...yes, they should be in the list on the back of the cd but lemme tell you....the online ordered cd's did NOT include the bonus tracks. That is a Best Buy IN STORE exclusive...although they may come up with some way to order them, but the ad said only available while supplies last. If you want bonus tracks you hafta either go to Best Buy and hope they still have a cd, OR go to Napster and buy them individually as downloads...Heartbeats and Longing.

I tole Mckenna to check in when he could after the gig, and of course he said he'd do as he pleased, lil feck...but I expect we'll hear from him soon enough. He was leaving his house around 3 this afternoon and complaining because he's always grumpy in the morning. I pointed out to him that...ahem...it's NOT morning but in fact mid afternoon to which he replied..."it's morning to ME". Said he'd only been up "that early" once in the past coupla months. I'm tellin ya, he's a vampire, up all night, sleeps during the day! LOL!!

I like the end of the Meet n greet message (the one that Blue Moon got that he posted here today) where it says that Joe loves us and that he wants everybody to have a great time. That's makes for a really nice touch :)
