markTaylor Hey congrats on winng after show! Can you ask Joe or band members something for me please? Be=fore Joe cam on in London the stage hands were picking up Simon McBride's stuff, & someone got a really nasty electric shock - & as he walked off with the gear it looked like a live electric cable dangling.............can you ask if he was ok?

Did anyone else see that? Down in the stalls you must have done - I was up in the circle..........cheers luv anibur*

Joe posted this on facebook this morning - Jet-lag has really got me this time... I'm still up and it's almost 5AM - I hope you get through the gig tonight;-) - you could always sleep under you shades!

Sudsy, I am now convinced that the whole pre-sale thing is a scam. I'm sure if Joe were aware of t, he'd be pissed off as well. SONY needs to change it's name to SOBAD!

I like the poster's description above---rats, already forgot her name----sorry, but it was her first post about how Joe's music stirs her soul etc....and grumpy drivers and here SHE is smiling from ear to ear etc....etc...... Yup. You summed it up perfectly!!!!! He is such a gift and brings such warm feelings and inspiration to so many :-) He truly is a Beautiful Man. :-) To me, he is angelic. To meet him in person is seriously breathtaking. If listening to his music wasn't overwhelming enough :)

I finally got my pictures with Joe downloaded into my 'puter. Now, how do I go about posting it here to share? can anyone help me.

Cookies deal----ok, thanks Al ;)

OMG!!!! :) :) :) Thanks Anibir for the Music Radar Post! Joe answered MY question! How cool! Im so glad I clicked on it, because Ive been wondering about that. Thanks! I really did not expect. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Smiling from ear to ear :-)

Still no indication of a pre-sale for Seattle/Snocasino. But I think the $137 tickets are for a VIP package. Ticketmaster has just put up notice that VIP packages will go onsale tomorrow at noon with the general admsission tix - and there are only two price ranges listed so...

Standard admission will be $40, but some of the front rows are likely to be blocked out for VIP tickets. However, if they block the "front 10 rows" for VIPs then they've effectively blocked out half the venue because this venue is not that big. It's a 100' X 100' room that only seats around 1000. Are there 500 Seattle patrons willing to pay $137? Hard to say what the strategy will be here, but the promise of a presale appears to be bogus.

Civ, u've got mail back :)

Wooleyman, I tried to also email you at the address you have posted here but it came back that you don't have a yahoo account sooooo....guess if yer interested you can email me, I'm easy to find :)

Glitz, sorry about your gramma, but you have a good attitude about it. It's life...how she lived was the most important thing, and that she'll live on in her family and friends that loved her. Hugs.

Mc, congrats on the football win today, and esp on not taking any shots to the groin, that's always a good day, lol!

Pip, yeah, the Chromie is generating the biggest interest, but I expected that, it's the most sought-after collectible guitar Joe has. Gonna be such a wrench to part with her, but she needs a better home :) As they all do :)

Tracie- I sure wish I could take you up on a guitar, but without even asking I already know they are outta my budget, lol! I hate to see you part with them too; if I were to buy one it would get locked in a safe and never get played, it would just be a collector's item. I have built up a small gun collection over the years, and I always promised myself that no matter how little I fire them or even take them out of the safe that I would NEVER get rid of them, even if I need the money! I would regret it the very next day.

Premonition covered by me.... little disappointed with this - where'd all the bass go!?

Love the new album so much!! Right....

Further Joe Satriani Ibanez signature series guitar info..... as well as the release of the "Experience Hendrix" proto did I also mention a redesign of the body for a new model? Roughly an inch being added to the body all round to get back some lost frequencies. I want to say 600 to 800Hz???

So there you go, two new JS's.... and basically when a proto is ready Joe takes it out on tour if possible to bed it in for real, then any final tweeks are made and it gets signed off hence almost a year before we see this next one.

... and if I recall correctly they don't do any proto unless it's intended for a production model :-)

Cheese - definitely one of the most sought after, most of the Ltd's go for sensible pennies. Who'd a thought it... an PS yes, 700 is mohog

Blue Moon - what was the best Joe gig you've seen? sorry about Hendrix mate

webmaster / jon - was there ever any debate (Allen vs Alan) ? :-D

Have a good weekend all

Pip- Thanks for the info! Definitely looking forward to the new releases. I figured that the first time I heard Joe refer to the Hendrix guitar as a "prototype", there would be a chance it would be an actual JS model some day. There's a reason they're called prototypes, lol!

Speaking of that, every time I see Joe play the red JS 7-string I always wonder about that one. It was never released to the public, right? There was also another 7 string I've seen in some vids (SBM era, I believe) that looks similar to the JS700 (if I have my models right).

Heads-up bots! Buckethead has a new one up on iTunes... it's called Captain Eo's Voyage and it is absolutely unbelievable! I can't recommend this one highly enough. Spend the $10, you'll be glad you did. This one finally has Electric Tears beaten, I didn't even think that was possible.
Enjoy!

I got the presale cd, one for the cd cover and two for the presale code. Went on line the 18th for the Snoqualmie show and the link was not up and it said to check back later.
Here it is the 22nd and it still says the same thing! WTF!!!
If I had known I couldn't get the presale tickets I would have bought the cd at Best Buy so I could get the bonus Tracks!

Hi Climber: I think the deal is that the Snoqualmie Casino gig is going to be a "festival" event. For such a small place that would make sense, and if there's no seating then a presale makes no sense. But if that's the case, then they really ought to let people with presale codes into the house early. Perhaps the presale concept was already in place before this venue was finalized, but they could still make good on the concept with early admission for code holders.

I thought it was pretty cool that Joe was using the JSA10 for the intro to Andalusia, and equally as cool that he kept that song around for another tour. That song has a pretty special meaning to me and it's always nice to hear it.

You're probably right, Scubadaz, I'd say he's running it straight to the PA; probably the same setup as in Chickenfoot. I'm sure someone here knows for sure. The JSA sounds pretty good, I think. And it really fits the mood of Andalusia that Joe is playing the intro acoustically.

When Joe plays CF, however, I am a little partial to hearing BBTW played on the double neck. There's nothing wrong with the acoustic/electric, but I just like the growly intro that the double neck offers. I have a couple bootlegs of some shows on the road test tour; before Joe got the JSA10. Really enjoy listening to those, just wish the sound quality was a little better!

Ah, I thought he traded out the double neck once the JSA10 came on board, but I guess not! Maybe he was waiting to get the JSA mount built (so that he could play the solo in BBTW). Or maybe he just wasn't ready to give up the double neck yet?! All I know is I prefer BBTW with the double neck, haha!
