Chee, I'm doing the same thing - listening to the clips while going through my morning computer stuff. Beautiful way to start the day. Andalusia is playing now. Another one of my favorite songs. Absolutely love the way that tune unfolds. That's the goose bump shit right there! Ugh! Love it!!

Pip, yer the best! Thanks!

I went to Best Buy after work yesterday to get the new Bombastic Meatbats cd. Surprise! They didn't have it :-/ The computer said "out of stock". On the Warrior Records website it says $7.99 at Best Buy. *sigh* I had to order it online... from Best Buy. lol! I also ordered the Pink Floyd Pulse dvd. I figure it's time to educate the kiddies. lol! I miss listening to PF too.

Andalusia - so nice I listened to it twice :-)

I gotta share this. Ya know how you see some things that are just so unbelievably stupid you can't believe yer eyes...I saw that on Sunday. I was leaving the parking lot at work, and this young girl saw my car coming, but pulled out on me anyways. I had to hit the brakes and slow down quick so I wouldn't run into the back of her. I see her holding something in her right hand out in front of her at about face level. We stop at the light, and she's twitching her head, fluffing the top of her hair, flipping her hair around, and twitching her head some more - all flirty, the whole time her left arm is making hand gestures in and out of the window. I was like WTF!!! We go a bit more and stop at another light, and I realized what she was doing. She had her gad damn phone on video so she was looking at the person on the phone while they were looking at her - AND SHE'S DRIVING LIKE THAT!! I absolutely couldn't believe that she could be that stupid! Doesn't anybody just DRIVE anymore? I was thinking how cute her friend would think she was if she hit a kid crossing the street or didn't stop for a red light and got t-boned. Stupid stuff like that infuriates me! Just effin drive!

That's the stupidest thing I've seen since the 50something guy on the highway on a motorcycle in shorts & flip flops, smoking a cigar, AND talking on his cell phone!! For real! Get the F outta town!!

Anyways...CRANK IT!

bjames... would be interested to know how you are using the remote feature. The biggest marketing juggernaut would be the method of switching vs. stepping on a foot pedal. The one advantage would be moving about on the stage without having to go to your pedal board... or searching among the pedals when you have a ton of them.

This one is for michelle, it's more my speed.

Funny you post a link to that after mentioning what a crap driver that girl was, rumor has it that the song is about driving a car full-speed into a brick wall. I heard Uncle Al (Jourgensen) say that when he was talking about why Ministry covered the song. Fuzzy memories.

@cosmic ape- is he playing the same frets or is he playing the same notes after he tunes them down a half-step???

@Flash Moron- Have you heard Welcome To The Family by Avenged Sevenfold??? That is a really powerful song. It would probably pump you up if you were exercising and needed a boost. And it's really great to listen to over and over again. This song has an addicting quality to it.

What do you do when your kid is misbehaving??? Do you put them in the corner??? Do you try to calm them down??? Do you reprimand them??? Or do you duct tape them to the wall????

This question is for Joe and everyone:

I know that the majority of people here are English-speaking ppl,. For my part, I speak English and Spanish due to my Hispanic heritage..,,,.. When you guys browse the tv, radio station, websites, etc;, do you stop and listen to Spanish speaking music?...

That happened to me once, like 2 years ago when I was watching on TV these 5 Chinese dudes singing a song in their language with acoustic guitars. The tune, the melody, the song was so good, I had to record it...I didn't understand a word they were saying but the melody was catchy. ....I heard once on an interview Steve Vai and D. Weiner say that they listen to everything from Rock to Bossa Nova and music from different languages and cultures as well.........................Punkdude75

Truths For Mature Humans

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

15. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.

17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

24. The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974.That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

punkdude, I said it before, I love Puya - Oasis. I also get totally sucked into movies like this (song is Nimboda) when I can't find them on tv. Subtitles help. LOL! I'm a sucker for a good beat, no matter what the language. It don't mean a thing if it don't got that swing! lol! I've already sat and watched a Korean newscast. Didn't have a feckin clue what was going on, but it was cool to watch. lol! I pulled up to a car a few weeks ago and heard this song and had to come home and play it. lmao! Same language, but lmao! I love it! lol! The more fun you can have with different types of music the better :-)

Okay everybody...scream real loud!!!

*shivers*

Hey Joe!

Love the new album! "Light Years Away" and "Wormhole Wizards" are killer tunes. :-) Looking forward to seeing you at the Orpheum Theater.

Question: are you planning to create more pedals with VOX and, if so, what do you plan to make? Chorus? Flanger?

I have the Satchurator and Ice-9 pedals and enjoy them alot.

Cheers! Wholi

Yep. I'm french and I listen to english speaking music all the time ^^. Nowadays, only a few french groups succeed in making me vibe. As far as I'm concerned, I also listen to brasilian music sometimes, and also skandinavian music (metal)...

Thanks to the new Joe album, I'm still working at half past midnight the day of my 20th birthday ! Wahou !

Frits T Keiser--I'm surprised and honored ;-D!!!

Alan Mc---Did you get to chat with Joe in Dublin recently? And when is your music gonna be available on CD?

I've been buried under paper from the federal government. I finally got everything filled out and sent back to their social security department. Oh, no! I said that no, no, nasty, naughty word...."social" that could have something to do with socialism and socialist. Are the troops coming after me to lock me up??? Social is what people on planet earth are....you know, outgoing, chatty, needing the company of other people and all that sort of stuff.....It's basic to any human being, right? Ask my 96-year-old neighbor. She'll tell you.

Joe's music.......Littleworth Lane and Two Sides to Every Story...........beautiful stories and great Jazz lines. I love the way you stretch out, Joe. You are indeed a versatile artist!

Cheese 101, M, AL, Pip and AMc---Thanks for all you do here to keep the Joe vibe goin. You're the best ppl and put up with a half insane assylum country called the USA on this lovely planet!

GG2
