Hi, everybody! Joe! New album is superb. Piano-moments are- "just in time". I like this kind of thinking-knowledge is power, and i can hear it one more time in this album. Congratulations, Joe! You are the best{as usual,ha,ha!} !

Hi Everyone.

Hope everyone is well. I'm doing good, and so is the family. After my last race, I took a week off from running to help with family, plus I was busy with work. Now I'm getting back into the swing of things (running), and I have my marathon coming up on Veterans Day weekend, the 13th. I also want to say thank you to you all for the condoleneces/sympathies. Now it's time to focus on that Marathon; 6 more days & counting.

Joe: Great to see that blue. Best to you and the crew.

Hope everyone is doing well. Late last night, as I was driving home from work, I started hearing Christmas music on the radio. I guess you could say the Holiday Season has arrived. Speaking of that, I also have all my Christmas shopping done for my family/friends. Now I just need to wrap their gifts up, LOL.

Take care peeps.

Grant

Interested in what occurs during the Meet & Greet. I have a music room at home with 30-40 signed guitars and would love to add Joe S. to the Wall. I'm not a dealer/seller, just a collector and can send pics of my music room if you want to see. Our rule is we have to had seen the performer to make the room. Let me know.

gotta have Joe - Wow! That clear vinyl is something else, never seen one of those before. Is it Always With Me, Always With You that's on there? What's the b-side? Maybe it's just a one-sided deal? I can't find any other info about this weirdy.

edit: found some more info , turns out it's not that rare or unusual after all, only "news" to me! LOL!

smooches,

Today my hubs took me to see Circque du Soleil Dralion for our 23rd anniversary. OMFG what a show! Such amazing talent! Everything was killer, from the acrobatics, choreography, singing, music - just flippin' amazing! If you ever have a chance to see one of these shows - GO! The percussion was so awesome, and I could see the drums behind the black mesh curtain at times. The guy next to him played bongos, synths, triangle, and all sorts of things. On the other side was the guitarist and other musicians that we couldn't see. Truly a fantastic show!

No wonder Al loves Asians! lol! (running joke from his last world tour) Effin amazing gymnasts, and so petite and muscular. If anyone at any time did the slightest thing wrong, it could have been a disaster. They had to attach safety lines, stash props, attach props, and a number of other things that would have terrible results if done wrong. We saw one tiny mistake in the entire show - three guys went to jump rope together to start a routine, and the one guy stepped on the rope. They just stood up, stepped back, and did it again perfectly. Absofuckinlutely amazing show!

Hoops

Bamboo

Mad bendy Asian girls and a people mobile hanging above them. Our bendy girl routine varied from this one.

Great day :-)

Can't wait to see you in vancouver bc. My son and I enjoyed the Chickenfoot show at the Commodore. Sammy is still a great singer and Joe must find it different being with a singer instead of all instrumentals Funny how a lot of the younger generation is just finding out who Satriani is . With a lot of the new music out there the art of playing a good guitar rift is being lost or not even bothered with in the recording business. Thankfully there is a lot of people that enjoy good guitar playing and try to emulate a great artist such as Joe and Vai who are both incredible players. I know that there a lot of others such as Larry Carleton, Lee Ritenour, Steve Morse and Frank Gimbali. They seem to be out of the limelight this moment. Maybe there could be something larger than G3 and some compilations with other players. How about a day with Joe contest, guitar lessons. one on one discussions playing live with Joe contest. Just some ideas that other players might have a blast meeting Joe

hey guys!

First off Happy Aniversary Michelle - the show sounds incredible. I'm a massive fan of the theatre and lives shows of all kinds really. If it ever comes to the UK i'll keep an eye out for it coming to Birmingham :)

As the weather starts to become utter miserable here i'm relying on Joe's new (and old tbh lol) records to keep me going.

Though i was wondering if anyone has picked up the new Steve Lukather album? It's growing on me ALOT now lol, and i'm really getting into the guitar playing. It's so unique with tones of feel and character, just like our Joe.

best wishes from accross the pond :)

Hello Joe! I'm from Moscow. I am 13 years old. I was at your concert. I think you saw me because I was sitting near the stage on columns in a very high up in a striped sweater. Since I had a pair of binoculars and I had the opportunity to see the skillful execution of your works. I really enjoyed your concert. It was great! Say When is your next concert in Moscow

This post is about Eventide's Mod Factor. A few on this board raved about it, so I spent my $500 and got it Saturday. Yesterday I put together, entitled How Odd, to showcase the pedal.

http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/logicbdj/music/all/play915531

It's called How Odd for a reason. I applied about 12 of the 50 possible patches to a somewhat strange chord progression, many of which are odd sounding, pivoting over an E:

EmMaj7... EMaj7b5... EMaj7Lydian... Edim... Em9b5... E13+... E7#11b13... E7#9#11b13... e9susb5b13... E13sus#5#9#11... Esus... Em... E4... E7sus#5#9... Eaug... Emaug... Edim... Em7... Em.
