A mix of tempos, rhythms and music styles integrated under one song.

...How you doing Today!?,.Had my 250 tnt fired up today she gave me a hard time starting but did start anyways shes doing the real smokey thing right every once and a while I work on it! you would think 2 stroke 2 much oil in the gas ,tried running straight gas with just the oil injection hooked up!.Tryed running alittle bit mixed with the oil injection disconnected STill smokey tried taken out the air filter ! still smokey today I figured I will try a new carbueratore right maybe the choke stuck on on the one that was on it brand new carbuerator still smokey.Their is only one thing left now it starts first kick man 1975 right but smokey .It has to be burning transmison oil in the engine the crank seal on the oil side underneath the ckucth cover must be leaking like work and shes bruening gearbox oil.Now I used my parts manual to try to get the dimensions of the seal the measurements all it lists is a number from 75 old part number so I went downstaris to my parts room had some old crank seals in their housings down their it,s a 28x38 x7 inside outside and thickness with that I should be able to get a seal at like a seal shop or someone like the shell garage who can order seals by measuremnet from carquest and they order from CR at the factory i could go to carquest in bancroft myself if it,snot in stock they would have to ship it to the shell anyways or wait 2 weeks until my next cmha meeting.thats the only thing it can be!.The atk needs a mainshaft seal whic is the seal on the shaft behind the sprocket got a bonus with it my atk parts catalouge gives the size so next year two seal jobs for me the onlt tnt still runs and ride like i say starts first kick just smokey itsnot the rebuilt tope ned she has compression kicks and runs .The big job will be changeing that seal from 1975 it,s in the roary valve cover on the crank who knows if the clutch sideciver bolts will come out if i can get the crank gear off withought removeing the clutch hub ,things like that big job few day a day for tha atk remove the countershaft reaer dosck and sprockt and caliper so two bic g jobs but that is all it can be with the TNT it was just their o my gosh old smokey!? hey joe hey she moves anyways later wolf2.

It's a little late, but.......Happy Halloween!!!!!

Hey Joe!! What was it like to go Trick Or Treating with your son when he was younger.

I can imagine you just watching your son going up and down the houses, getting candy, and out of nowhere somebody goes "Holy Crap!!! It's Joe Satriani!!!!" and starts taking your picture and stuff. lol

Oh c'mon. You can't tell me that didn't happen once.

Any way let's end it with some Key Of Awesome. Trick Or Treat Or Die

And some Satch Ghosts (Live)

Anibur - nice pic there

Chad - fantastic pumpkin mate!

Hmmmm I guess waffles must be vegan then?

Scube - you liked my skelly dincha LOL? It was pouring rain for Halloween last night so not many kids out. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing but it seems Aussie kids have latched on to Halloween here *sigh*. I dug out my Roseanne series and watched one of her Halloween episodes - priceless.

A Letter I wrote...

Why isnt Joe Satriani inducted into your Long Island Music Hall of Fame? So many artists you have there haven't even come close to the accomplishments of Joe Satriani. For over 25 years Joe has released new music that is appreciated in every country of this Planet besides 14 or so Grammy Nom's. Shall i mention the greatest instrumental rock album of all time "Surfing with the Alien". Dream Theater induction is a nice touch but your missing the most deserving, Joe Satriani...please look into this overlooked artist...try Google.

Joseph,

Thanks for your email about Joe Satriani and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.

...Believe me, we're well aware of his importance and the fact that he should be part of the Hall. I'm especially aware, with his having been born three days before me in 1956.

The problem (although it's a good one) is that we have nearly 500 worthy nominees and it will take us a bit to get to everyone, but rest assured that Joe is at or near the top of our list. Another thing to understand is that given the large number of potential members of the Hall, we cannot be judging their accomplishments against each other. The only practical criteria, besides their connection to Long Island, is a high professional standard. Joe certainly meets that, and will be inducted soon. Sincerely,

Jeffrey James 2nd Vice Chair, LIMHoF
