turbo236 - I'm here...just busy with a few other things lately. Sometime this week I'll mark everything as "read" and be back here 100%. ;-)

And about reviews...has anyone found a well-written BAD review of BSAWW? I've heard a lot of good things, which of course is great, but I'm curious. I'm not used to the press being pretty universally positive.

The reason why American government sucks and is going nowhere. As long as we have people in office that refuse to come up with solutions and their only goal is to stop progress, we're all screwed! Think about that before you vote out of fear or anger.

"But the delays, the cloture votes, the unprecedented obstruction that has taken place in the Senate took its toll. Even if you eventually got something done, it would take so long and it would be so contentious, that it sent a message to the public that "Gosh, Obama said he was going to come in and change Washington, and it's exactly the same, it's more contentious than ever." Everything just seems to drag on — even what should be routine activities, like appointments, aren't happening. So it created an atmosphere in which a public that is already very skeptical of government, but was maybe feeling hopeful right after my election, felt deflated and sort of felt, "We're just seeing more of the same."

Aloha Sudsy: Yes, there are a few of us hanging around for the Snoqualmie Casino Pre-Sale. I think we have the staff of the snocasino.com to thank for this. Just this afternoon, they got around to updating their web-calendar to include December and January events. They have a TON of tickets going on sale for general public consumption this Saturday, Satriani being one of them. I honestly think they just don't know how to key-in a pre-sale - they seem to be pretty new to this game. Bill Graham would not approve!!! But pay attention because they just might get something going tomorrow - as I said, their calendar was just updated and they are trying to figure out how to post a picture in the artist box as we speak. Check back frequently....

Do The Stu- I did read one bad review but it was not well written but he basically said Joe was a talented player but needed some one to write his songs for him AND as it made me angry I did not post it..... now I can't find it. For the most part every review I have come across has been positive although some speak in more glowing terms than others.

Turbo- That is a LONG time to suffer with nerve pain..... I've only been dealing with it for about a week and 1/2.... seems like forever. Chiropractor helped some.& the hydro_therapy massage bed was pretty awesome... :) Thanks for the follow back on twitter.......

Rhythmsteady- Thanx for the well wishes, one thing about being zonked on meds I have more time to stare at the computer and watch all the latest clips from the tour. I tried to do some work on the company books ...but then I decided that Quickbooks is not my friend right now ...LOL :

Scuba- Hope your week starts getting better.....

*EDIT- Anibur ...thats an awesome pic from 2008 show front row ...must have been very cool.to be sooo close. :-)

Chadley and Turbo Ian, I have 4 guitars at the moment...a JS10th Chromeboy, a JS20th model (not the 20S but the full on 20th), a JS700, and a Steve Vai Bad Horsie rock mirror finish Jem. The JS20th and Bad Horsie are new, never been played, never-left-the-music-store models :) The 700 and the 10th are used but are very minty :D All come with hard shell cases, the only one I had to buy one for was the JS700, the rest are originals and have all the case-candy.

I am considering selling all but the 700, might hold on to that for Chrispie one day...of course he'd love all these other guitars in his arsenal too...if I go before I can sell, they become his :)

None are at my house, for general security reasons and especially for Chrispie security reasons, LOL!!

I hate to part with any of them, but like I said....they aren't gettin any love sittin in their cases, so I'm giving serious thought to selling them to peeps who will love them :)

Meanwhile...Joe's in Scotland tomorrow....or now....prolly now, since there's a big time difference...

HAVE FUN IN GLASGOW JOE!! I'm sure they'll LOVE ya!

punkdude, dunno how heavy Puya is, but this vid sure carries a lot of T & A! lol! I have a compilation cd somewhere with a bunch of songs on it from different bands, and Puya is one of them. Maybe Oasis is one of their heaviest songs? lol! Listening to it now. My son is like...uh...dude? lol! But he doesn't not like it. lol! Oh wait - here we go! HA! I dig it when the camera bounces with it!

Woo! I need to simmer down this close to bedtime! lol!

Few posts to catch up on, but I thought I'd share the link to some pics that I FINALLY got around to uploading.

Chickenfoot Tahoe 11 Sept 2010.
-And
Aaron Hagar and The Wabos Tahoe 11 Sept 2010.

Unfortunately, some of the pics turned out blurry and/or dark, but I couldn't bring myself to delete any more of them than I already did. Time to get a new camera!

Also, I decided to try photobucket this time rather than simply uploading them to my facebook page, so we'll see how that works.

Goodnight!

Ian

I picked up a CD collection of Hendrix... some obscure stuff recorded overseas, much of it live, or at least, rough recordings. Before studio fix-ups, his sound was almost rusty... something metalic and grating about it. Very raw. I wrote a short piece that encompasses a similar sound (although not quite what he had) in a Clapton/Cream type Crossroads song rendition.

Hi everyone.

Have the day off today. However, it's kind of a busy, but also a sad one. Just this morning, I received a call from my Mom, and my Grandma (Mom's side of the family) has recently crossed over. I actually figured that her time will come because she was not doing well. I'll miss her deeply, but I know she's watching down on the family along side with my Grandpa. Mom asked if I wanted to be a pallbearer, which I accepted.

It's going to be tough for a lot of members in the family, even me, but I'm glad that she has crossed over and is at a better place. I'm going to remember and celebrate my Grandma's life for what she has done for us & accomplished.

I'll miss you Grandma, and may your Spirit live on.

I'll be off of here for a few days, but I will check & read the posts on what is happening here. I'll let you all know what is happening, plus that 10K run I'll be doing on Sunday.

In chat room right now for a little bit.

\m/

Grant
