This is cool - Astronaut Ron Garan is going on his next mission in March next year. He blogged for ideas for his song playlist to take into space with him so of course today I posted all Joe's space-related songs - Ron's Blog.

Anyone else want to let Ron know he should take Joe's music with him??? Go right ahead.

Tracie- What are you thinking about selling?? Doubt I have enough money to have even asked you that question, but just curious, lol! Also, I was wondering where you guys made your hotel reservations for the Reno trip, or if you have any recommendations? Last time I just stayed at the Silver Legacy. I haven't made it around to shopping for a room yet.

Got my new Bombastic Meatbats CD in the mail today- "More Meat". I was excited to see that this one was autographed by all 4 members of the band rather than last years album which was only signed by Chad. I really enjoy their cover art as well, not to mention the music! I'll have to give the new CD a spin tomorrow, it's bedtime; I'm sure I will love it, though.

DistortedSoul- Thanks for the info on the Hendrix guitar. I do specifically remember that thing being very reflective, and I got quite a few pictures of it during the Mesa show because I had never seen it before. I hope they don't change that about it, at least. I would assume if Joe used it on BSAWW that he is probably pretty much done having it tweaked. I will try to get my pics from last month's CF show uploaded tomorrow and then link my album here again for anyone who hasn't seen my pics.

Really enjoying all these vids... Wind in the Trees is probably my favorite live offering so far, I think. It's pretty impressive to see Joe play that one. I will admit that I do prefer Joe in an Oakley brand of shades, though. I won't go so far as to say he looks weird in the ones he's wearing now, but I'm definitely having a hard time getting used to them. Are those Ray-Bans he is wearing now?

chat folks - got the msg that it was down again so i've restarted it again!

BigBunny - to be realistic, i think the fan art section isn't likely to get updated still for some time since once we get through the remaining video content i'm going to try and focus on a larger sitewide upgrade, but it could be part of that!

urbzz - sorry to hear about your disappointment! the bonus tracks are legally only available through best buy/napster otherwise they would have been included. but, this is why we jumped through many hoops to this time make those bonus tracks available as standalone downloads for fairly cheap at napster http://music.napster.com/album/songs.htm?albumid=13930091&s_module=hypermodule

Stan31 - the Nokia Theater was recently picked up by Best Buy so it's a name change! I've updated it on SATRIANI.COM.

js1200js1000 - i can guarantee that joe signed all of those cd covers himself and it took him a long time, too! what might be possible is that you got one from the end when his hand was getting tired :}

alan vs. allen -- it's Allen, not alan, whitman :}

I would like to ask everybody a question. I'm taking a survey.

#1. What are your three favorite Satch solos that has a strong amount of blues in it???

#2. What are your five favorite Hendrix songs? (if your at least a fan and know more than 10-15 songs)

I think you've hooked yourself with a REAL stinker Joe with the SonyMusicDigital to sell your CD's. I purchased your new Wormhole CD through them with the promise of receiving a pre-sale code to purchase tix for your Jan 20, 2011 show at the House of Blues in Houston. They've NOT sent the code and the tix are going fast! Trying to get a human on the phone to help resolve this is a challenge, I've sent my info to your webmaster, but frustration mounts and the good seats are getting swpt up! Any help would be appreciated!

Hey scubadaz - hope you are doing ok now! Glad you liked the pics, but as we were up in the Circle they were not half as good as front row 2008 at the London Guitar Show ;-(

clicky here.

After 18 years of never taking a pic of Joe before - I am rather proud of these LOL... All I need to do now is find how to change my profile pic on Twitter, I can't find it anywhere! I've been to profile etc..but where is it? help...

BTW If anyone wants to see the Mike Keneally web chat from last night it's here
