Yep...glad to see the trash go out too. Keep in mind though...congress and the administration is not Going to save America. There is a lot of people in need of Christ. Speaking of that...I would like to invite any and all of you musicians... Including Satch to talk with me off forum concerning their eternal destination. Man up guys. There'll be no guitar playing in hell. Lotta yelling and screaming. Which is not a whole lot Different than what a lot of people are doing in their music anyway. Just a thought. I'm sure most of you guys are Extremely talented. Sure would love to see it used for God.

Germany - Cologne 11.02.2010

madness, what a great show yesterday for the E-Werk in Cologne. It was an ingenious blend of "old" songs and the new album, coupled with a super nice unobtrusive underlining light show

was a great experience!

Phydeaux 3:

thamks for the links, I'm really liking what I've heard so far from Captain Eo, and Electric Tears has a lot of really cool tracks. Another one I explored a little was Colma, I can't get whitewhash out of my head.

Cheers !l

Todithicus - Like 'glass half empty' Scubs, I agree it would not be a "masterpiece" but I gotta say what a fecking cool idea if done even only for just one track. Lots of different angles and views from fans all stitched together with the best audio sounds very good to me.

I've been watching the NHL lately (go Wild!) and I've noticed that there were a lot of Satch songs featured: "Ice 9, Crowd Chant, Surfing With The Alien, Super Colossal" were played often. I've gotta say: Joe Satriani, your music makes hockey even better!

Joe,

Me and my wife Eveline visit your show in 013 Tilburg- The Netherlands. We liked the new extended band setting and your new album with the weird title Black Swans & Wormhole Wizards. Great performance! We are also looking forward to the 2nd Chickenfoot album. Last year we went to your show in "De Waardse Tempel" - Heerhugowaard. Also a great show. Enjoy your tour with the band, we hope to see you again next year.

MegaBoyd - I don't know why I've never heard of Nuclear Rabbit before, but I'm digging what I'm hearing so far, thanks for the heads-up!

Funny how with BH you can almost forget about some of your favorite stuff, just because of the sheer volume of material, even Zappa wasn't like that. I hear a few people saying how much they like Colma, an album I barely listen to at all anymore since Electric Tears came out, now ET will end up taking a back seat to Captain Eo. I had almost completely forgotten how phenomenally good Colma is.

This from Wiki - Colma is Buckethead's fourth studio album, released March 24, 1998, by CyberOctave records. The album was recorded for Buckethead's mother as she was ill with colon cancer and he wanted to make an album she would enjoy listening to while recovering.

The title of the album makes reference to the small town of Colma near San Francisco, California, where "the dead population outnumber the living".

Blue_Moon - Yes! ARDITR is also massively good, see what I mean about forgetting a few along the way? LOL! Can't forget Shadows Between The Sky either.

MegaBoyd - All I can say is WOW! I'm completely envious of you.. I've never been able to see Big B (closest thing for me was seeing Uncle Mikey, That 1 Guy, play a small bit of The Frankenstein Brothers' 5 Second Minute by request last year!) live (or even M.I.R.V. for that matter!) I have most of those people on Facebook though, and I do chat with Craig ("is a MAN!") quite frequently and have heard all of the MPB, the album that never really did quite get released. Made mine own MPB shirt too (with ze twist!). They played about a month ago with Kehoe AND Gates! Fungo Mungo (another huge favorite) played too, Craig pulled double-duty! I've got a killer boot of that, thanks to toaster! Here's a tidbit for you, maybe you know Pete (Scaturro) and already have this? The "unreleased" (as of yet, I presume) Giant Robot album Siren 19 ? Different, but still WAYYY good!!!
We should hook up on Facebook. Look me up: Greg Frank Marcus.

DistortedSoul - That's what I'm talking about! Also, thanks for the links below, I never even knew that those BBW tracks existed! Ear candy!

spinergy - can't find it, would love to help your cause though!

POLL!

I have been curious for a while what everyone's favorite track is from the Vox (Satriani) Big Bad Wah demo tracks??? (OR just what your thoughts are in general on these fun tracks?)

VOX Big Bad Wah track downloads

I like all of them, but my faves in order:

1. BBW DDL JAM mix Trip out with this drum and bass-style performance featuring the Time Machine delay in its time-bending element.
>>I love the use of the delay, the track is aggressive, and bass line on this one is bada$$

2. BBW #3 mix The track that started it all! This is the soundtrack to our Big Bad Wah demonstration video—an amazing, high energy performance featuring the Big Bad Wah.
>>Another awesome one to drive to, lots of Wah but not too much.

3. BBW WAH JAM mix An alternate take of the BBW DDL JAM mix featuring the Big Bad Wah.
>>Almost as good as the first two in my list, but maybe just a bit much wah? Suppose it would have been #1 for me if the BBW DDL Jam mix didn't exist!

Hey Joe- Huge fan. Love the new album- great riffs, love the keyboard this time. I ordered the new album early from your link and it mentioned an autographed CD. The one that was mailed to me was not??? I had you sign one of my CD's some years back in Austin when you did a show with Dream Theatre but always would love one of your latest. Let me know what I need to do for a signed copy. I plan on seeing you at the Granada in Dallas, maybe I can push my way through to get you to sign Wormhole Wizards then. E-mail is guyfromnrh@yahoo.com. Your the best- rest the fingers when you can.
