Turbo236 - did you know that the version of Power Cosmic on the album is off tape from the demo? Eric worked some magic to lift if from that format for the album
Scuba - surely its the Sure SM57 (or is it 58) as the old classic? Should be a sensible price

Everybody knows that Viggo is a musician too, right?, Rigghhhtttt??
He's done a couple of albums,
Intelligence Failure (which I own and love!) and
pandemoniumfromamerica
with Buckethead (and Elijah Wood!) that are very, very
interesting
as well as a few more as well. He's quite the pianist.

Just came back from the Hendrix Tribute Tour. Amazing guitar playing and great time overall. But when Vai came out for 3 numbers, you could tell he was in his own league (although he played with veteran guitar players). He also was the most 'true' to Hendrix's songs.

Joe will be back in Holland for his 2nd gig on monday Nov 1st in Tilburg. Thumbs up tp someone who misses both :-)
This is quite a nice Light Years Away vid of last night too. I don't have the fancy equipment to make high quality vids, I spent my money on guitars..... so my vids are a bit more 'impressionist'

On Dutch public broadcast TV there's a daily news magazine between 18.15 and 18.45. They use music from Joe's BSAWW in their reports all the time.
Today it was Wormhole Wizards, earlier this week it was Solitude about old unused churches being torn down.
scubadaz I think Mike was commenting sound on stage (?), in the audience it was not good, specially himself was drowned out most of the time. Around the board in the middle of the hall it was ok. Fans in first 10-17 meters (30-51ft) from stage was bad. Yes... after Wind in the trees I moved round to find out. It's rare (and not good) I find reason to check this!

hello to Joe!
so, i've just got a couple questions to you...
1: how come you never play songs like Lords of karma, hordes of locusts or even talk to me from your EP? EVERYONE would be thrilled to hear those songs again. i mean, talk to me, i think you've never actually played it live.
so, if you read it, you should seriously concider it :)
and secondly, you just have to come play in finland. maybe not on this tour, but some day.. i'll be waiting.
so, that's all i've got to say...

Flash- Thanx for vids and Zappa link although I may not "get" his music for the most part..... he was an extremely interesting individual who made a huge contribution to the music world. Interesting to have his children's point of view on growing up "Zappa".

...did i tell you this one!?.Theirs this girl man a woman you here me man i have had a problem with her for about 26 years ! shes cool and i love her but i been supporting her fully for 8 or 9 years the sex with her make me very sick sometimes .I had a guy that works for me get rid of her she came back once after year ago i had her chrged man but i wont do that to her shes some kind of hooker or something and not one of mine man this chic loves me hey joe Obeseedsed man You here me i like her and love her but i figure 89 years of supporting her fully is enough man you know she was a dam good woman but it has to end sometime! o she can come back some other time same as always and earn hundreds and thousand`s but were done for now.Anyways man my brain has been doing some weird feeling man im not sure wether it was from useing my bench grinder to sharpen my axe hatchetscteh seen or from the sprocket teeth getting finer on the atk probably the AXE SHARPENING MAN has some home made sauce with lots of meat with macaroni for supper big glass of choclate milk .Realy im not doing nothing just gonna listen to some tuneage you have agood night even though I cant get aids why push it you know man! the only reason why i cant have her going out and working for me now is because the police are watching her its causeing heat! later wolf2 woodstove is going ! later wolf2 Halloween tommorow im going out as joe satriani! no shit! no just kidding wolfie.

Crappy day at work, but while I was there, my hubs was busy moving things around here. He took away the small Onkyo speakers that came with the surround system and brought up some biggins from the basement. When i got home he told me to have a listen to the difference. He already had Black Wizards on deck, and he put that on for me. I laid on the sofa and pretty much just melted. lol! I'd just flow with the music and just about dose off, then the next song would start up and startle me a bit, I'd smile, and drift off into bliss again. lol! It was so nice I'm playin' it twice! lol! Still have to watch the Joe/Davy/Sonny vid yet. Just can't seem to stop the cd long enough to watch it. lol!

Scub - Not going to believe it but i got the Ring of Death on the Box :( it's off getting repaired now so should be back in action within 2 weeks :( i couldn't believe it i turned it on added you to my friends list and bang it froze turned it off and back on and Dead 3rd bloody time it's happened to me this time it was a mth out of warranty when i rang he was like it will be $199.00 to fix it and send it back with a 12 mth warranty i said nah i will speak to the manager Thanks or Mr Billy Gates because i just bought UFC 2010 and F1 2010 and 12 mths Xbox live and ur gonna tell me i have to pay to fix it the supervisor got on the phone we will fix it for free :) and send u an extra mths Live subscription i was like Thankyou now that's how u should treat ur customers :)
