js12 - Holy macaroni! I went and downloaded the title track at iTunes... WOW! My account is depleted now so I could only get a few tracks, but I'll be picking up a gift card tomorrow just so that I can get the rest of the album, it is mighty!

Everybody check him out, Chris Bullen, his debut album Interstellar Groove Machine is available at iTunes. Check it quick-like, I might have to take down that vid soon. I am loving this track.
Here's one more, Great Immovable Objects. Very Nice!

Thanks for the heads-up js1200, we Canajuns have gotta stick together, eh? ;0)

p.s. Happy Turkey Day to all my US Brothers & Sisters! Been there, done that.
Ate the turkey.

smooches,
» Phył

Hello Joe best of the best Guitarist in the world ! You really inspire me with your awesome music, every song you wrote has its meaning , even if i've never been in a concert of yours ( you've never came to Lebanon :P ).

I got a question, i was reading one of your posted messages and you were saying in one of them that you were with Deep Purple playing with Steve Morse , well did you ever played with Richie Blackmore ?

He was my favorite guitarist until my friend asked me to listen to one of your songs wich i still remember it was "come on baby" and it almost caused me a heart attack, i didn't know that such a great guitarist exist but i was 14 now almost 18, since then i've been memorizing all your songs, every note you play, if i didn't have a guitar to play them i would sing them hahaha , you've definitely took music to another level, you're a real master and genius with your music, thank you so much ...

Hi Joe,

how are you ? i am a complete fan since 1989. I like many many of your songs. I like that you recorded flying in a blue dream in high dynamics to capture huge sound nuances.

I like your earlier stuff as much as the more recent. I got into playing guitar because of you. In 1989 i found the 'surfing with the alien' CD in a music store and bought it for no other reason that i liked the cool cartoon cover with the silver surfer. The funny thing is that the music matched what i had imagined with the cover and really was amazing and fun and i was hooked. Next i bought flying in a blue dream and it became a huge musical revelation for me.

I bought 'not of this earth' later. Your guitars are well documented after surfing with the alien but there is no information anywhere about what pickup and guitar and effect you used for 'not of this earth'. If you still remember these early days Joe can you tell us what guitar and what pickups you used for that album and sound line up ?

I am about to change the pickups in my 1990 R570 and would love to get that sound.

All best with you current music experimenting.

Eric
