Keneally is a genius - agree completely. His keys on BSAWW are just delicious. Not overdone or "trying too hard" - just absolutely perfect. So damned good.

And Yes, I NEED to see Buckethead LIVE some day, I would LOVE to see That 1 Guy open for him and then they could jam on some Frankenstein Brothers, that would be a dream show for me.

Another vote for Buckethead for G3 (or G4 with Paul Gilbert too!).

Brain could pull off the ChicKenfoot thing no problemo, he's one of my all time favorite drummers. Shredding Repis anyone?

smooches,

I just heard Always with Me Always with you in a Nikki Minaj song of all things. It's kinda cleverly done but it hurts to see one of my favorite songs get butchered lol Love the new album Joe and your use of the autotune was just bananas!!!!!! Love it!!!!!

Liftithigh, read the post right before yours, Joe himself explained Nicki Minaj asked for permission and Joe granted permission. It was not stolen, just borrowed.

I cant get over his gift for melody and abilities for such gorgeous drop dead songwritting on the guitar. Freakin' blows my mind. :O Tommorow, I can FINALLY finally start collecting all of Joe's music catalouge.....I have been going nuts not having the dough to collect all of his material. I've seen him use it another songs, but have never known how he was doing it... Thanks!

So did you get the cd!? Al--That's a good question. Sadly, no. I've been buried in a box of tissues lately and hugging my Steve many times because the episodes/seizures are one or two or three every two weeks and I'm dropping down a dark abyss every few hours and climbing out as quickly as I can. Headaches are trying as well .....Then it happens all over again. At least there are rays of sunshine when friends break through the dark clouds with songs and stories and a few words gently said. Sweet therapy.

Michelle and Tracie--Maybe I should be telling you about these times. Anyway, I'm 10 pages behind and tryin' to catch up.

Craigy101 - I'm pretty sure it was the Fulltone Ultimate Octave in that particular pedalboard configuration...

I think the little dance he's doing at 7:09 is him kicking off the Fulltone octave, switching on the Digitech Whammy, bringing the delay in, and.... Whammy Time!.

I love how at 7:01 it appears to me that Joe is like "Oh! Gotta get over to the pedalboard!" Watch it a coupla times.... it's funny =)

Happy Birthday Death Cubicle K !!
