Jesse Kennemer, just a shout out to you and your band. My son Chris went to see your band play last night in Grants Pass (I think that's where you played) with his boss Chuck, got a chance to meet you all and listen to a full set and part of the next before they had to leave. He was impressed with the whole band and thought your playing was really good. He said he could hear Joe's influence in your playing, and then noticed you had a Satchurator pedal :) So he figured you were a fan of Joes like he is.

As he was telling me about all this, I asked him if he could remember the band's name or any of the players names...he said the guitar player was Jesse something...was trying to remember the last name so I piped up and said "Jesse Kennemer?" He was like..."THAT'S IT, how did YOU know that mom"!! I told him cuz I was magic, LOL! But then confessed I'd seen you post on here before and had checked out your band page and music and knew you lived in the same town as him. Two points fer the old mother, LOL!!

So yeah, congrats on your band and hope you keep going forward with it!!

Joe are you still teaching? I just wanted to inquire I knew you did in the past not sure if life has slowed down enough for you to get back to it. I use to love your section in the now gone Guitar Player Magazine.

..and the man shinny waved as he stepped up to the stage. There he was exchanging comments with Mike Manning. Lean strap on his shoulder, some chords, some fusses, and the marshalls sound good enough while a dozen people, staring at him, were about to live their moment.
Shortly afterwards, he softly stepped out of the shadows and materialized his conspicuous spirit in a humble and human flesh and bones body in front of us. That's the meet and greet, and you're supposed to ask me questions ..
. Clumsy english spoken questions with heavy spanish accent were redeemed by patient and generous replies and plain explanations...mighty in his tenderness. The guy is so sweet that today has twitted the show was awesome.
Yes, it was.
Thank you, Joe. I will never forget it.

Phydeaux_3 - I did see that mate, he's playing tonight for which I have True Blood plans I'm afraid.

Scube - yes I did get a refund so I emailed them to say I did finally get the CD's and I'll pay again. Don't think Joe had a hand in it, and wouldn't expect him to at all. The package was dated 29 September so it's the one they originally sent I guess, it's just been travelling the globe for a while.

Happy Friday!!

Ian,I bought the JS Amplug about 3-4 weeks ago.For what it is,it's simply brilliant.you get Joe's distortion setting from the Satchurator and his setting from the Time Machine. Not a perfect replica of Joe's rig but pretty damn impressive none the less.

Do yourself a favour and get one.you won't be disappointed!!!

Hi Joe!!!

I've just arrived at home after the concert in La Riviera (I had to drive 2'5 hours from Madrid) and I'm going to bed, because I start my job at 08'00... I will be very fast!

SUPERB CONCERT!!! We (my wife and I) are very happy with it. It's the first time we see you in direct and we can't believe it!!!

Great sound with your new Marshall amps.

I'd like you had played "Surfing with the alien"... next time... LOL

Thanks very very much for this great concert and for your visit to Spain. This thanks are too for all your team.

We hope you come back soon.

Hello Joe (or staff in case Satch himself don't reply) I've got a question for you. I'm desperately trying to get a ticket for the meet & greet for the Mexico City concert next january and would like to know if (in case I get it) I can bring my Ibanez JS guitar to the meet & greet to get it signed by Satch. I already have regular tix for the saturday performance but I'm trying to get the special package for the sunday concert. Thanks & looking forward for the concert

Just saw Nicki Minaj on Letterman performing "Right Through Me". What's up with her "borrowing" the tune from "Always with me, always with you"?

WOW!!! Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards is one of the greatest albums i´ve ever heard!!! and Wind in the Trees is litterally the best song i´ve heard. the coolest is that i seem to try to catch the same kind of atmosphere in my own work (thats just starting out) even before i heard this album.

Here´s a poorly recorded rough demo if any one´s interested

TEXT

We can argue forever about whose the best guitarist but Joe Satriani isat least the best songwriter of all the "shredders" So i say GRAMMY FOR SATCH!!!
