I don't see any mention of Joe on Leno either... says Bill Cosby and Atticus Shaffer and the musical guest is Keyshia Cole. I guess we'll just have to wait and see?

regretfully Guest musicians with the band really only perform for the live audience..and arent listed as guests...we'll be lucky to see more than 30 seconds of anything, but its definitely tonight

Have a great time tonight Joe! I'm up at 5:00 a.m., so I'm gonna miss it. Hopefully we'll be able to see it somewhere, or it'll show up on the podcast :-)

Love ya!

yeah, the fact that Cosby was digging Joe's song/groove and ripping solo and all his positive comments directed to Joe was some good stuff. Loving the close ups on Joe jamming after each break

I had let my kids watch some of the old original "Fat Albert" shows with Bill Cosby - they really enjoy them. :)

Hey Joe & All...

Hope everybody's Thanksgiving was well.

Been a little while since I checked in here.....

Watching Joe on the Tonight Show.... actually tried emailing their talent manager to suggest getting Joe on a few years ago... think I tried to enlist the help of some of you all as well....

Eventually I knew they would have to recognize someone with Joe's talent at some point....

So I guess you've finally made it.... LOL...

I had seen you on Letterman in the past.

Bout time The Tonight Show caught up with a real musician.... Which I figured out when I first heard you over 20 years ago!

Geez... where did all the time go?

I think I WAS your fan club @ VCU back then...

* Hope you add a date in or near Richmond on your current tour. I have to get another club Joe ticket... Met you back in Oct '08 here and it was great... confirmed a lot of things I had learned about you over the years... lol.... although this time I will remember not to ask how you got started using the internet.....lol.

Glad to see you are really get recognition after all this time...

Hope to see you in concert somewhere near here in the future...

Now... if The Tonight Show would book you as the main musical guest.... maybe in another 20 years....one could only hope.... lol... just a joke...

Great job tonight... as always...

Thank you for all the years of music and inspiration....

I think I finally memorized my pentatonic scales... lol

LAter,

Tim aka guitarsamuri

PS - loving my droidx.

I set my alarm and stumbled out of bed last night at 11:30 to record the Tonight Show, so I'll catch it when I get home from work later, but looking forward to it!

I took my folks and Chris to see Cosby live once, he appeared at Oregon State University when we lived in Corvallis, OR, many years back. Bill actually walked around a lot and came over to our area and stood right next to my mom as he talked....she reached out and touched his pant leg really tentatively, he didn't even feel it. The look on her face was just priceless, LOL! And a friend of mine went to take her young son to the bathroom, and Bill caught them on their way back to their seat and made the little boy come sit up on the edge of the stage so he could "interrogate" Tyler and his mom about what they were doing walking around during his show....they were on the big screen and everything, fun times, lol!!

Bill's a funny guy without hardly even trying :) I hope Joe got a chance to chat with him even for a lil bit off stage.

Frankly Cosby ain't funny any more. he is old, senile and rambling. Who can really blame him tho with what he has been through last several years. Geez he has a real hardtime moving around too....

Here's a link that will work. It's not all of it, but it gets a bit of the good stuff.

Donkey.. I think you're wrong, I thought Cosby still "has it". I hope to Jebus that I'm that together when I'm his age. Sure he rambles on a bit.. but that's always been part of his charm. Off-the-cuff he's still sharp as a tack (imho).

smooches,
