Joe!
Thanks for the fresh batch of Satch. Enjoying the new album a lot! Only two songs I can't get into much over the last few mnths are 2sides and littleworth. Everything else has a solid groove to it or good melodics. Those two are played solid but guess they're just not my thing. I'm liking the album so much , I'm comin' out to see ya in KC on dec. 20. It'll be a trip because I haven't seen you live since the 2000 EOC tour! Gotta see if you can still play :) J/k
I'm really looking forward to hearing wormhole wizards, premonition, light years, wind in the trees, dream song, victoria AND of course Crystal Planet! I'll be bringing my younger bro and this will be his first time seeing you. I heard you're playing alot of older stuff too...how about throwing in The Power Cosmic 2000-Part II ??? would be cool next to Wormhole Wizards!..
Anyways, can't wait to see you and the guys tear it up man!
stay well

I can't wait to go to the concert on the 14th. Can't wait to hear Crystal Planet and Why and Memories. Speaking of Memories I saw the live version. Memories (Live) Joe has a strut at the beginning of the song. lol It reminds of Vai's dancing.

Hi Joe,
Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the show at the HOB in Boston last night. I have waited 18 years to see you play live and it was completely worth the wait. You're even better live than recorded. Your fellow band mates were amazing too. I especially loved Jeff. What an awesome drummer!
I love all your music (especially Surfin' and Satchafunkilus)but this latest album is probably your best work yet. Premonition and Light Years Away are definitely my favorites. Album after album, I'm never disappointed.
I may just delete everything else off my iPod and listen to Satch full time. You are without a doubt, the greatest guitar player EVER! I absolutely mean that.
Best Wishes, Happy Holidays, and a Prosperous New Year to you.
Sincerely,
Sunshine Lady

dakawan: Yeah I'll be there I can't wait any longer though, but yeah I hope he plays wind in the trees as well, and as well as Wormhole Wizards I love that song.
Just wondering I know people wait outside for Joe after the concert is over, but how long would you normally wait for him until he comes out?

AHHHH A NEW DVD!!!!! The GREATEST Christmas gift EVER!!
Thank you JOE!!
If I remember correctly, I promised you some money in exchange for a DVD of this tour. Obviously I was just saying that in hopes that it would have even a little leverage in a decision to film a show, although I'm sure my input had nothing to do with it. If you'd like, however, I will pre-pay for 3 copies of the DVD now to offset my portion of the filming cost, haha!
I don't want to be greedy, but maybe the "lost" un-effected LIP tracks will end up on this release???? I'll cross my fingers but not hold my breath.
Starting to look forward to Spokane in one month; I've put myself on a Joe break for the last few weeks. I think my CD player may have actually burned a hole in the new album, I was listening to it WAAAAAYYYY too much. Starting to get back into the groove now. I've not seen but only 2 or 3 vids from the first leg of the tour but I'll probably keep tabs on the setlist as the date approaches.
Ian

I was so disappointed to see the latest reviewer's opinion of the Golden Room being the weakest track. This track quickly grabbed my attention upon first hearing it and I can't imagine becoming tired of it. Please don't discount this one, Joe. There are plenty of fans who love this tune.
I don't think there can ever be a Satriani tribute album 'cuz I don't see how anyone can come close to emulating the beauty of your songs. You truly have a God-given talent and we're lucky to be able to enjoy a living legend's music up close and personal.
