Hi Everyone.

Hope everyone is doing well. Just been busy as usual. I have my last run/race (ultra-marathon) of 2010 this Saturday down in Huntington. It will be bittersweet because this is the last Huff 50K (33 miles) they are putting together. I'm just glad that I was able to do it last year and I'm doing it again. The goal is to break 5 hours and 11 minutes, which was last year's time.

Yes, I do have an electric guitar (actually I got it back from a friend). Surprised him with it on his birthday and then decided he didn't want it anymore and gave it back, which is cool. One of my coworkers, another close friend of mine, recommends/urges me to play guitar and gave some ideas on which strings or humbuckers to use, etc. He's been playing for 13 years and is in a band.

But I understand your concerns....and I definitely will keep Chris & ( his momma) in my prayers..... My" baby boy" is gonna be a daddy in just a few short weeks.....having to grow up and face responsibility a bit sooner than I had hoped . But he's a good kid and working hard at his future for his little family. Sigh.....................

The 7 youtube videos are not pro quality, but decent. I am happy to say every single show has been phenomenal. Though it takes me days to recover from each. dakawan, were you the guy that would occasionally pop out of yer chair and have a few moments of sheer bliss before you'd sit back down? lol! I think I remember laughing at you and enjoying yer enthusiasm! I was cheering you on at cheering the band on. lol! A lot of the front rows left a LOT to be desired in the enthusiasm department, but the middle section behind us was rockin' out! There were a few in my row (ee) that were really feelin' it. The guy next to me was pretty cool too (as was my hubs - the OTHER guy next to me). So, I am a witness, you DID have a great time! lol! ;-)

Now, I saw the "partial" set list that was posted on here but I was wondering if anyone knows if Satch is going to play The Golden Room, or Time Machine at the BSAWW tour? I doubt Time Machine 'cause we got to see that gem at that concert in '08 but I figured I'd ask. Guess we are just gonna have to settle for Dream Song and Flying in a Blue Dream to get our Lydian rocks off...

...Interesting...My mom just called me and told me that tonight at 9:30 Central, Jeff Beck is going to pay tribute to Les Paul on WTTW, gonna watch that fo' sho'. Hope they do some Lazy River and How High the Moon.

Ooops I forgot we only have WTTW in Chicago. False alarm everybody. So to rephrase that anyone in Chcago interested in seeing jeff Beck do Les Paul, he's on right now.

Cheese - fantastic that Chris will be close to family, as long as he doesnt fry too many appliances and guitar gear! Think of it this way, at least you won't have a 2 hr drive through the mountains.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes for Chris. We started at 6 am yesterday, and finished up by 8 pm. Ohhhhhhhhh, I's tarred! He loves his apartment and says he is very happy to be there. I hope that holds true for him.
