Liverpoolians sounds much funnier though and the sound of it kinda matches the unique sense of humour of scousers. Having said that, half of the scousers i've met have been puddled!

What's the deal with Black Country Communion? I mean, these guys release a record back in September and they have yet to do a proper tour behind it, or even announce one for that matter. I think they've done just a handful of shows in the UK. Joe Bonamassa has already announced his next solo album and 2011 tour, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything out of BCC for quite a while longer, either.

Just wondering if they released the record with the intention of not touring behind it or waiting a couple years or what their idea was. Personally I think there are only about 2 songs on that album that are worth hearing live, but I'm sure I'm in the minority there. Apparently they are already recording their second album, due out summer 2011.

I also notice that Bonamassa brought in a few guest vocalists on the new album, including Glenn Hughes. I am a much bigger fan of his solo work than the BCC stuff. Pre-orders for "Dust Bowl" start Feb. 4th, and will be shipped a week before release date!

Hey Satch fans. I don't post very often, just read the posts for updates and any new news. But that comment from two shay referring to the Liverpudlians was hilarious, I almost wet myself. Sorry for that horrific mental image. Just thought I would share that with the satchlings at T2J!

My Blackberry is not working

Round 1 of the snowrainicesnow is over. The cars were a sheet of ice when I came out of work. I scraped mine, then got in my car and started it up. I looked across the lot and saw a co-workers car still sitting covered in ice, so i turned off my car, got out, and scraped it all off her windows for her. She's in her 70's, and I know she could do it, but the lot was just as icy as the cars so it was slippery and dangerous. She's just a tiny thing, so it would have taken her forever, and she might have fallen. She prolly came out and thought wtf! lol! Who did that? HA! It's my secret :-) The rest of the cows can scrape their own cars. lol!

I have Black Wizards in the cd player in my car. Great music to drive to! Can't wait for a more bluesy Chickenfoot! I just hope Sammy lays down some good lyrics.

Hetfield with Chickenfoot *angels sing*

My 3 favorite bands are Joe, Godsmack, & Metallica. I've already seen Godsmack & Metallica live together. If Metallica & Joe's band toured...I don't think I could take it. lol!

Holy crapoly! We just got smashed with a huge flood and now a mega cat 5 cyclone is about to hit just north of us.

Biggest cyclone ever seen here. They are comparing it to Catrina. Mass evacuations occuring.

Hey Joe, how about chickenfoot do a natural disaster inspired song for the new album, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, fires, cyclones... The worlds gone crazy...

Joel it's kevin b. Not to scare you. What you have done your whole life is very worthy. The one thing I admire about you most is you have never been greeded. Like me it's about gettn out your soul to the masses. You were born to inspire. That is very clear. I beleive you understand there is more behind the curtian. When you play alone when your you you dance with angels. There is more Joe way more. Our time hear is a blink of the eye. You are needed in the afterlife. But your job is here and you will make a bigger mark before you leave here. You have a way. These next few years unleash your secrects. Rip it. Get it all out there cause you can't take it with you. Then you will be a aprentice again then a journey man then you will play with the master on his right side. Right. Remember you and love you cause you are a temple.

Ok, I won't labour the point, but this web site gives a bit of an idea of the size of Yasi.

linky

It would just about cover the US mainland.

We are about 1,500 km south of that (900 miles?)

We are lucky, we'll be just under it and catch the edge. Hoping no lives are lost. And praying.

Poor Queenslanders! Copping it again after the horrible floods. Right now thousands of people are huddled in houses and evacuation centres hoping for the best. Full non-stop TV coverage. The Queensland Premier was just on telly saying if the main power transmission line gets hit the whole north of the state wont have power at all for days. Time to send all positive vibes to our Aussies up north. The next 12 hours are going to be bad.

Its our turn for a tour Joe!!

Currently have Wormhole Wizards by Joe Satriani paused.

Is James Hetfield really with Chickenfoot? That would be awesome! I will miss Chad but I was never a big peppers fan, but I love Metallica. Didn't know James played drums...

I gotta make sure I see the concert this time!

Puxatawney Phil from Gobbler's Knob says an early spring is coming.

Who makes this stuff up? LOL!!

Happy Groundhog's Day!!

I'm going to grooveshark.com, putting in "Joe Satriani" and hitting PLAY ALL. I don't think there's enough time in the day for them all really. lol!

Thinking about the Aussies in harms way and sending positive vibes and love.

Hetfield is not the new drummer for Chickenfoot. lmao!!! He can probably drum as good as Joe can, which is good enough to lay down what you want, but he's not a "drummer" and wouldn't be hired as such.

The Pied Pipers of heavy metal!

That's the goosebump shit right there!!!

Now I'm stuck on Metallica and still haven't gotten to Joe yet. lol!

Hey Joe and fellow Satch fans,

I'm a guitarist/singer and I've been a Satriani fan since '93. I've definitely been influenced by Joe's music. My favorite albums are the s/t and Crystal Planet.

My current project is called The Fabrockators, and our music is influenced heavily by classic rock. Check us out when you can, we'd love to get some feedback. Thanks

Scubadaz- Thanks for linking those pics. I didn't realize that Joe wasn't using a 410 through the whole CF tour. I do recall that during an interview he said that the modded ones he is using now were delivered to him sometime before the CF DVD was filmed and he used them after that. Not sure which vid that was, though.

At any rate, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying YOUR 410!
