Hey Joe,
I am from India currently doing my MS in industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University Stillwater (OK)..
I am a big fan for yours , and want to learn guitar for you. Actually i have been playing guitar for last 5 years and want to make it big, but my problem is that even playing for last 5 years I don’t get whether the next note is higher or lower to the previous note. In Hindi we called it “surr”.. And I am bad in Surr, timing wise I am good.
Surr is basically the 7 notes in a diatonic scale. Sa, Re Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ne, Sa.
I left India and came to US with a dream that you will teach me someday..
Please help me to improve my paying..
Thanks & Regards

well the BBW is one of the most expensive wah pedals at Guitar Center so I assumed it was really high end.
and its not a bad cable because it still squeaks really loud when its not plugged in. when ever I move the expression pedal it scratches and it gets louder every day.
for some people it never has any problems and for the rest of them they have problems in the first few days.
I don't know what to say.
Its not a huge problem, just a nuisance. If I am playing super loud I don't hear as much. But at midnight when everyone is asleep and I play at 1/10 volume its completely drowns out the music.
AL says it happens to all his wahs, so is it something I have to get used to?

Maybe wah's just don't like me! but it doesn't bother me, usually those wahs are lubed up good when they come out of the box, never thought of it as a biggie
Jamin yesterday and today in 2 x 6 hour sessions... the JS is a magnificent guitar
Happy Saturday

Hey Joe! It was great to meet you and Steve and then watch the benefit show at the HOB Sunday night in Hollywood. The VIP ticket price was worth it to meet you again, but to know that the proceeds were going to a great cause was awesome. It's too bad that I didn't have the UV777 that I just bought with me for you both to sign like how you signed my RG570 in Montreal on my birthday in 2008. I live in Ottawa and I'm really looking forward to the show tomorrow at the Bluesfest. Is there anyway that I could meet you to get my UV signed? You are the inspiration for my interest in continuing to play and learn, so I would really appreciate it. See you at the show.

Mick4 - There's no "official" meet'n'greet for Bluesfest but I think that if we wait by the buses after the show we _might_ be able to get some sigs. (I got Claypool's this way!). I'll be the guy wearing the Tony MacAlpine tee, say Hi if you see me.
smooches,

Hey Phydeaux_3: I live in Stittsville as well and I do have Back Bar Concert Passes for tomorrow. But, I really don't want to risk bringing my UV777 with me unless I know there's a good chance that Joe will sign it. I met him and Steve Vai backstage at the HOB in Hollywood on Sunday and I told them I'd appreciate it being signed. I told Joe about Bluesfest when he signed my RG on my birthday at the Metropolis in Montreal in 2008, so I'm just glad to see him performing here. He is a really cool, down to earth guy, so let's hope he is generous in that way. See you at the show. Cheers,
Mick

HELLO JOE !! I'M FRENCH AND I'M ONLY 15. I live in paris at the 28th floor of a tower and I love to wake up at night to look the lights of this beautifull and magic city throught my window listening one of your songs.
My dream is one day to be abble to play guitar like you. It's my dream because I want to play your song LOVE THING to the girl I love to tell her that I love her because I think there's no words to tell her what i fell deep in my heart.
My mother dosn't want me to play guitar so i'll start to play only when i'll be 18 and I'm sad because maybe it will be too late!
thats why I promised myself that one day I'll play like you.
Sorry if there's errors in this text but my english level is poor...
LOVE
edit: Today I'm sending a mail to the girl I love to ask her to listen LOVE THING. I'll see her tomorow or saturday and I'll tell her my love. I'm nervous because I don't know what she 'll answer. She 's like we say in english My "Raison d'etre" and if she answer that she will never love me I'll be verry sad....

I saw Joe play on his birthday, at Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario (15th July). Nearly sold out, with a few empty seats here and there. It was a great show, lasting about 2 hours. He played some usual favorites, along with some songs off his current album. What I enjoyed most is when he did longer reditions of a few songs, which stretched to about 10 minutes each, and I suspect with some improvisation.
He played the JS2400 for the entire show, although alternating between the white and red models. I own this guitar and it's really something... a different personality from the other JS Ibanez guitars.
Unfortunately no meet and greet at this venue, for any acts. Off to see Ted Nugent on August 13th.
