hi joe how are you my name is felipe I'm from Brazil Juquiá-Sp. I'm your number one fan I listen to all your songs.

My desire is to play like you. I would be very honored to learn to play with you.

But my guitar is not good enough but I'm pro spent participating in a contest to win an ibanez not the same as yours but it is an ibanez

A hug from your fan number 1

Austin, DiMeola has been one of my husbands favorite guitar players since the 70's. It was sooo gratifying to finally see him watch his fav player - and to be sitting so close was such a bonus! For the last song or two Al motioned for everyone to come up to the stage. Shit man yeah! The dude in the seat next to me got so excited, he dropped his leather jacket in the aisle next to the seats and quickly made his way to the front. LOL! That was hilarious! He was holding it, and started walking with it, then realized he was to far from his seat to put it back, and just dropped it and said F it! It all happened in like a 10 second time frame. Nobody bothered it, and it was there when it was all over. It seemed that everyone there was a major fan. We were always under the impression that Al was from Europe just by the way he plays and his look. Dude is from Jersey City - New Jersey! lol! He was out in the lobby signing stuff after the show, which was really cool. Of all times not to have my camera...but i did get a phone pic of him with my hubs. It's not good quality like a camera pic, but it means a lot to both of us. We also bought a cool photo poster and got that signed. Now when friends go down in the basement studio they will have somebody else to look at besides... me & Joe. lol! My hubs left there a very happy guy. lol!

Charles and Camilla
Camilla bought a new pair of shoes for her wedding which got increasingly tighter & tighter as the day went on.

That night after the festivities were finally over, she and Charles had retired back to their room.

Camilla flopped on the bed and said, 'Please remove my shoes darling. One's feet are killing One.'

Ever obedient, the Prince of Wales attacked her right shoe with vigour, but it would not budge.

'Harder' yelled Camilla,
'Harder' Charles yelled back, 'I'm trying darling! But it's just so bloody Tight!'

'Come on give it all you've got she cried'..

Finally when it released, Charles let out a big groan, and Camilla exclaimed, 'There! Oh God, that feels so good.'

In their bedroom next door The Queen turned to Prince Phillip and said, 'See, I told you she was still a virgin with a face like that!'

Meanwhile back in the other bedroom Charles was attempting to remove the other shoe when he cried out, 'Oh god, darling this one’s even tighter!'

At which point Prince Phillip turned and said to the Queen, 'That's my boy, once a Navy man, always a Navy man!

What an awesome show this past Saturday (3/26/11) you and your fellow musicians put on and for a wonderful cause. My husband and brother attended as well.

We're hoping to catch another one of your spectacular shows in the future.

Keep up the creativity.

So here I sit waiting for my annual review with 5 bosses. God I hate this. No raise I am sure, others already told me there is a "wage freeze". That is not surprising. Just dread this little exercise that serves no purpose. Room is damn small too, and hot.

Mr. Joe Satriani: I'm Panamanian medical doctor (ENT). Recently I find your beautifull music when I visit a musical instrument store for anew electric guitar for me. Your music style is really amazing and I enjoy to hear it. I would like to invite you to come to Panama for a concert. Many people would like to hear you live. In 2 months my son who is a doctor too will go to New York City for a residency program and I plan to visit him this year. If you have any concert in New York or near NY I would like to assist too. Thank you very much for read my e-mail and sorry for my poor english. Lionel Quiel, M.D.

Michelle - I love Al Di Meola , I saw him last last year and in 2008 with Return To Forever...RTF was amazing to see after all the time that had past. I never dreamed that would happen. I liked his playing in RTF and have all his solo stuff too. JOE knows Al...it could happen!

Brian, my husband is still kicking himself for not seeing RTF when they came through. He loves them. He digs bands like Mahavishnu Orch, Weather Report, RTF, DiMeola, Gentle Giant. Not my first choice in music, but then again, Godsmack & Disturbed isn't his. lol!

quick question guys..

On my JS100 when I am playing and I hit the strings, it has a really bad vibration in it and im not sure why. I know its not from not holding them down hard enough because I even let a friend play it and he has been playing for a while... So, what would you say it could be from and why it is doing that!

Thanks from any advise

Kayla, it could be the truss rod's a little loose, or, just about anything else that can be tightened. All guitars need adjusting just about all the time. The more you play 'em the more they need. That's part of the fun I guess... Joe

Kayla - Also check the tension springs in the back, I just switched to a heavier gauge string on my Ibanez RG for a bit of experimentation and found that the springs rattled in the back when I hammered on and pulled off the top two strings, at this point I haven't really been able to fix that unless I remove the back cover.

Not that it bothers me to badly...but you might be having something of the same problem.

WhammyFreak.

Cool vid, for a cool cause... The JB story is so sad, nice to see good benifit for 'em

If ya changed string gauge, yer gonna have to set up a bit of stuff to get it playing nice again

...As for the strings buzzing... Could be fret buzz, from low action... A bad fret or a convex bow in the neck... Temperature and humidity have an effect on the wood throughout the year too and yup, they need to be adjusted and tweaked constantly

Sounds more complicated than it is, but once you get your head around it and how it works, it's grand

I'm watching a lot of "Curb your enthusiasm lately" it's freakin' funny

Thanks for the advice guys! I will have to check those out!

Have a ton of fun playing, I am still learning all the basics while I am trying to teach someone as well, so even though he does not know the difference, it is kind of embarrasing having my gutiar rattle like that! ha!

JOE- Thanks for the input! It is such a great guitar, I just need to get it in tip top shape and use it to its full potential! Next step, buying an amp! (I have received some great advice with purchase options as well JSX here I come!)

I have started to write my first song, I have been getting so many ideas run through my head during the day of different sounds and things I want to try, it is just finding the placings for it and making it sound good and having it all come together!

ahh, another thing also, I FOUND MY TREM BAR! I was playing the other day and flipped my case over out pops this section in the case where it had my bar! Pretty excited about that, still need to get the actual trem figured out though! Took it in and they said it needs to be takin to a Floyd Rose Specialist, now to find one around here is the problem!
