Michelle- That Bonamassa tune is the first track off his new album... I hope you picked up a copy at the show if you didn't already have one!!

He's definitely on my "bucket list" of guitarists to see before I die.. Just wish he'd come a little closer than Portland. There's only one Joe that I travel long distances for.

Austin- Nothing scheduled for me as of now. No performers scheduled to appear around here that I know of, although B.B. King was just here and I found out about it AFTER the fact. The venues here don't do a very good job of promoting their events.

Castle- Thanks for the tip on that music. I'll definitely look into it..

Scub- Will check twitter today. Obviously I'm not on there much.

Personally I find Eddie Rabbit morbidly depressing myself.

I hate you Alan McKenna. I'm singing along and snapping my f'in fingers. That was the best 3 gd minutes I've had all day. Thank you. I love/hate you. Now I have to play it again. You'll pay for this young man.

Austin, it's only because they're coming to my area and we don't have to drive to Philly. If these same people were in Philly, fuggetaboudit. We can be home and in bed by 11:00 instead of 1 a.m. on a work night :-) I didn't know Chris was doing an acoustic show. Should be a cool.

Agh dammit! I just hit the 2nd Eddie Rabbit link! Confounded... lmao! I'll be playing this one 2x now too! lol! I hope you both pee in bed! lmao!

Turbo, we'll have to grab that cd in the near future.

If anyone wants to buy Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy, well, Best Buy is selling CD copies online for $1.99. No, that isn't a typo. I've seen hundreds upon hundreds of copies in stores, so they must finally be liquidating them. Click here.

turbo236 - I'm seeing Black Country Communion in Anaheim on June 10. Joe B.'s solo stuff hasn't done much for me, but maybe seeing him live in this band will change things. Looking forward to it!
cheese101 - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...hope the drive is OK.
michelle - Chris Robinson is doing about 40 (!) shows throughout California over the next few months (check it out here). I don't know what to expect, but if the show is good I'll try to grab tickets to another show (if they're still available).

Well, we tried but the weather n roads were really bad, plus it was only going to get worse the rest of the weekend. So made the tough call to turn back home. Sad but life goes on, eh? Big love to Joe and all the players tonight, and especially to Jason...rock on! .

Austin- I'm just the opposite with Bonamassa... I'm quite fond of his solo work, but BCC did absolutely nothing for me. There is one track on their album that I kind of like, otherwise I imagine it would be painful for me to see most of those songs live.. Joe B. is a hell of a player, though. No doubt about that. I think I just expected WAY more out of a band like that. Maybe the second album will reel me in...

TSAFLEY, you did drive safely when you turned around. You did what you had to do. Car, kid, & mama are more important. Joe's a spring chicken and has another 40 or so tours ahead of him for you & C-Dawg to see. Here's a little Damage Control to make you smile :-) err, maybe just make me smile, but either way...

Hey Everyone.

I ran the 20K this morning. It was a blistery/windy one. I had a time of 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 47 seconds. I wanted to break 1:20, but the wind was just too much for me and for the runners. I came in 2nd place in my Age Division and got a pineapple, a loaf of bread, and a cool tumbler glass as my prizes. Overall, I finished 7th place.

Looking forward to hear Roy's (Slanshroom) album.

Plus, one of mycoworkers/buddies is giving me a few techniques on playing electric guitar.

Talk with you later peeps.

Grant
