Ovation _ thx for your kind words.

To tell the truth, the Strat acoustic is very far to be a good acoustic guitar. But it works not bad at all for electro-acoustic exploiration.

Kayla- Is is more of a vibration that you can HEAR or a vibration that you FEEL through the guitar? My JS100 has some fret buzz in the low E just because the action is set so low, but it's not enough to hear through an amp so I don't bother adjusting anything.
If I move up to a set of 10's I may have some problems, though. And if my truss rod needs adjusting, I will more than likely take it to a luthier as I've just barely wrapped my head around the floating trem.

I believe my next order of business for the JS100 is to upgrade the pickups to those of the JS1200. (PAF Joe and FRED). I've been quite unhappy with the stock p/u's so far.

Hello, Joe Satriani!!! I like your creativity and music which you write. Especially game on a harmonica!!! Wanted to wish you and further the same open, cheerful person and creative successes! I have a small request to you! Perfectly I understand that it silly for my part and most likely it is impossible, but at least I will amuse you! I very much would like to receive one of your guitars with your signature on it. To have a guitar from Joe Satriani it so it is healthy!!! Thanks for that have read my letter! My best regards to You! One more week until the BSAWW tab book gets here, my ears have worked so far, but now to learn the real thing. I don't trust ultimate-guitar.

Does it come with bass tabs too? it would help alot, I can do drums by ear no problem, but bass is a sneaky little bugger.

I hope it comes with a CD, I doubt it, but another Joe book did so maybe this one will too. But not likely.

Satch Rules!

Does the BSAWW DVD have a release date yet? I believe its in Montreal, I hope we don't have to wait a like a year like we did for live in paris. I think they should have done a bigger city than Montreal. I want to see live in Chicago. 3rd biggest city in the US and I was there. I want to be able to relive the concert every time I see the DVD.

Michelle...thats to bad he missed them , but they put out a dvd of the show! if he doesn't have it. We like the same bands , thats cool! I heard Joe & Stu playing a Weather Report riff on a bootleg I have....I would bet Joe likes those bands also.

Al DI Meola is very nice guy , he signed 2 of my RTF cds , the other guys were wanting to take a bow and Al was over signing my cd..lol

Zen san Thats the first time I've seen a Strat like that one, and I'll bet she delivers plugged in.... That is why I love my Ovation plugged in so much, as it sounds so crisp and clear with a powerful tone to it..and when I hook up my pedal to it, I can go Steve \//\I on it, lol....

For those of you with songs stuck in your head, I had QUIET HUNT stuck in mine....

Hey Joe,

It's been a while since I've posted on here but I think about asking this all the time, so here goes.

In the interview you did on the Live in Paris DVD, you spoke with your interviewer about the song writing process. You said it was something you could talk about for hours haha. I happen to completely agree with that statement and was wondering if you would be down to do some sort of interview strictly on that subject. You could geek out comfortably! So much more appreciation for the music is gained by understanding the nature of its composition, not just its mechanics but rather, why your hands and mind were drawn to its creation... Alot of students stress out thinking you either can write music, or you can't. Any light shed on the true, maniacal nature of the process lets us all know that, there is indeed a process, and that it doesn't just happen like it does on "Glee" haha.

The creative process can be a way of life, and I believe the example should be lead by people who live it seriously. There is barely an information out there, straight from the artists mouth in regards to their true creative process. In other words, really walking through someone in detail a song, or idea's creation, going beyond its superficial explanation i.e. "oh I was sad that day" which come on.... is totally cool, but that barely scratches the surface! Compound this problem with the magazines asking how fast you can "shred" and what was it like to party with Keith Richards....

Ok, I know its not THAT bad, I'm only trying to get you really jazzed about this idea. "Torturing yourself on stage" and this "secret of music" I've heard you mention, they all sound like fascinating subjects! Anyways.... there it is. I hope if this sounds appealing, we could make it happen!

-Mike

castle, hi 5! LOL! Diversion is a wonderful tool.

Brian, I just ordered the RTF dvd and the newest Bonamassa cd. One for him, one for me. lol! For years I've called my hubs music "crazy man music" because to me...it kinda is. lol! I like it more now than I used to, but it's still HIS music. lol! I also signed him up for their newsletter so we can catch the tour dates next time around.

Hi Joe,

I saw you in France, the october 27th of 2010, at "Le Colisée" to Roubaix. A beautiful place to a beautiful music. It was very great, totally amazing. I think it was the better show I've never saw !!! Congratulations !! To you and the band.

I hope to see you with your next tour, but before, I hope, it will be with Chickenfoot !!

So, where are you with the next album ? Probably ... the "Chickenfoot IV" ? When could we listen it ?? And when do you think beginning the tour ?? What will be the european dates ?? Particulary, the french dates ...

So much questions ... to ask you.

Thanks to be there.

Yul.
