Here's another drum goddess.. Hilary Jones.... She does that limb independence stuff ala Mangini, Donati, Marco et all. At around the 4min. mark she lays down a cool sick groove!
....Then there is Gail Louise.... She kicks a$$!
So cool to see so many awesome drummer ladies out there..I wish we'd see more in everyday bands..time to represent! \m/ :-)
Easter was sweet Kayla, we had a nice day and the weather was awesome..happy to hear Joe uplifts you as well, he kinds does that to us all. :-)
Two Shay: lol on the Minge dealio, and speaking of Jon, it would be so cool to see him post soon! ;-) And thanks for asking about the events unfolding over here..we are just waiting for those nuke plants to come under control, thank God we live 1,200 mi. away, and I hear ya on the news hounds..they are more interested in the Royal Wedding than anything else, lol!

After discussing it with the adoptive parents, I have come to the conclusion I AM MOVING!
It is a must if I plan on going any where in life! I need to move away from the stress that is of this place and the people here! This is a GREAT retirement community but not a good place for a 20 year old to go anywere! I am pretty excited and nervous at the same time! I think it will be good though for multiple reasons!
Something that really makes me happy is being able to live with my sister and catch up on all the time that has gone by and that has been missed! She has not been doing good in school and I really think I can have a positive influence on her by showing her what it means to succeed and doing something good!
I am constantly getting the thoughts of not wanting to move, but it really is something that NEEDS to happen!
besides, I will be very close to vancouver so I could head up there and see JOE. Not only that, but only 2 hours away from Seattle :D... ahhh... LOTS of Satch for me now! WOOP lol

Joe solo and Steve/Deep Purple on Saturday, 6/25 and Alex/Rush on Sunday, 6/26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could die that Monday and it would be all good. Wonder if they'll let us set up a tent on the lawn area Saturday night so we don't have to drive home between gigs, ha? Haven't had a concert doubleheader like that in a long time.

Will do. I seem to bump into Jeff, Galen, & Mike at every gig I go to so will say hello to them for sure if my luck holds form. I'm hoping Joe joins Steve on stage for Purple's encore. Rush the next day will be the icing on the cake (I've seen every tour since '79/Permanent Waves)!

can anyone explain how to do the satrinai scream please? I know it has to do with harmonics and the whammy bar.
