Hello from Norway, Joe!

Question: I'd very much like to use some of my favourite Satch songs as background music for my motorcycle dirtriding and touring helmetcamera videos. The moods those songs inspire and encompass are just unique and spot on!

I'd also like to post these videos on youtube and some other relevant forums - so YOU can make all income from each time these songs are played. ( For instance by registering each time that tune is played/clicked with my videos etc. )

How can that be done? I'm no expert, only do these amateur motorcycle videos at leisure/hobby level and want to play a fair game with your musical copyrights.

Best regards and thanks for awesome music!

Ok, so this is something that someone over at FooFighters.com is doing, creating a disc based on track number. He created a poll to find out peoples favorite for each track number. So, I can't create a poll that I know of, so I do this the hard way. First selections are as follows, pick your favorite. Note:This only includes studio albums.

1.Not Of This Earth 2.Surfing With the Alien 3.Flying In A Blue Dream 4.Friends 5.Time Machine 6.Cool #9 7.Up In The Sky 8.Devils Slide 9.Oriental Melody 10.Gnaahh 11.Super Colossal 12.Musterion 13.Premonition

In the past year I have spent thousands in gear... time to trim down as I have so much of everything... going more toward rack gear.

I have a Satriani Ice 9 Overdrive, and the Saturator Distortion. Both cost me $140 plus taxes each, and then I had to buy adapters. I'm selling each for $100 plus shipping... and that includes the adapters. These are mint and hardly used... comes with original box and manual. If anyone is interested, my email is logicbdj@hotmail.com

Zinc Master - Thanks for the info! That will be a must own for me. Should start seeing some pre order info in a month or so. That set list is really good.

Glitz - Do you run with music playing? I have FINALLY found some earbuds that NEVER fall out and can withstand a good sweat without tearing up in a month or so. The Yurbuds Ironman series. Kind of pricey, but a really solid product if you like to run and can't keep an earbud in because of sweat.

Think he migh be messing with my piano cd music to try to make money from adding music to it with out my permission. My cd is on cd baby and is copywritten. He said he took lessons from you. Important if you can answer this and maybe email wife and i at '' pyrimid3@juno.com'' We know Steven Seaweed'' well and love your music.. Thanks Joe!!!

Mr Joe Satriani, I would like to start off by saying that your music is amazing! Especially Revelation. Ive listend to alot of your songs&Ive watched a bunch of your concerts on you tube & I really like your new album, I went out and bought it the first day it came out. Your music means so much to me & You have an unworldly and god given musical talent and this world wouldnt have been the same without you. thank you for your great music joe, every day i listen to your amazing music and think How does he do that? How did he get so good? I know it takes alot of practice and discipline to be come a pro and in my opinion you are past pro. in my mind and musical reviews your in the same rank as Steve Vai, Hendrix, Angel Vivaldi,Buckethead, John Petrucci,Eddie Van Halen,Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, B.B King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dave Martone, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, David Gilmour, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson,Tallan Latz&Joe Bonamassa. and those guys are at the highest ranks in music in my mind. Keep up the great performance and music making Joe. I wish you luck on all your concerts to come. Good luck Satch. please reply back if you get the chance joe. Your loyal fan-Cody H.

Peace, I'm sorry about your Dad, I guess it mean you have him a little longer.

I'm watching these at the moment, just what you need:

A bit of Joe Part I

Part II Joe does some little covers including ACDC

This one's lovely because he describes meeting Rubina. And he talks about T2J.

The he plays If I Could Fly live - *heaven*

Then Hands In The Air

Always With Me, Always With You

Satch Boogie

and

The last bit

Have a nice Easter break everyone.

logicbdj- You've got mail...

Peace Lily- Sorry to hear about your dad and all the negativity you are having to face right now. I'm with Tracie, though; if losing an arm means saving his life, then there is light at the end of the tunnel. I wanted to email you something, but don't have your address. If you want, mine is usaf_eod_03@yahoo.com.

My guitar spent its first night away from home last night... It is in the hands of (hopefully) someone who knows pickup installation like the back of their hand. Should have it back with the Mo' Joe, PAF Joe and the Hi-pass filter installed this afternoon. Getting excited!

I'm off to the doctor to find out if they will be able to fix my leg or if I am stuck hobbling around for the next 50 years or so. Not quite so excited about that!

Also, Just got an e-mail from Amazon.com; BSAWW Tab book has been pushed back to July 5th. Cancelled my order and went to ebay. Seller says they have more than 10 IN STOCK and that my order will ship TODAY!!

If I were you guys, I'd cancel from everywhere else and head on over to the bay.. It cost me a little extra, (19 and change w/ shipping) but it's definitely worth it to me..

Let me bring you songs from the wood:

to make you feel much better than you could know.

Dust you down from tip to toe.

Show you how the garden grows.

Hold you steady as you go.

Join the chorus if you can:

it'll make of you an honest man.

Let me bring you love from the field:

poppies red and roses filled with summer rain.

To heal the wound and still the pain

that threatens again and again

as you drag down every lover's lane.

Life's long celebration's here.

I'll toast you all in penny cheer.

Let me bring you all things refined:

galliards and lute songs served in chilling ale.

Greetings well met fellow, hail!

I am the wind to fill your sail.

I am the cross to take your nail:

A singer of these ageless times.

With kitchen prose and gutter rhymes.

Songs from the wood make you feel much better.

Iron-clad feather-feet pounding the dust

An October's day, towards evening

Sweat embossed veins standing proud to the plough

Salt on a deep chest seasoning

Last of the line at an honest day's toil

Turning the deep sod under

Flint at the fetlock, chasing the bone

Flies at the nostrils plunder.

The Suffolk, the Clydesdale, the Percheron vie

with the Shire on his feathers floating

Hauling soft timber into the dusk

to bed on a warm straw coating.

Heavy Horses, move the land under me

Behind the plough gliding --- slipping and sliding free

Now you're down to the few

And there's no work to do

The tractor's on its way.

Let me find you a filly for your proud stallion seed

to keep the old line going.

And we'll stand you abreast at the back of the wood

behind the young trees growing

To hide you from eyes that mock at your girth,

and your eighteen hands at the shoulder

And one day when the oil barons have all dripped dry

and the nights are seen to draw colder

They'll beg for your strength, your gentle power

your noble grace and your bearing

And you'll strain once again to the sound of the gulls

in the wake of the deep plough, sharing.

Standing like tanks on the brow of the hill

Up into the cold wind facing

In stiff battle harness, chained to the world

Against the low sun racing

Bring me a wheel of oaken wood

A rein of polished leather

A Heavy Horse and a tumbling sky

Brewing heavy weather.

Bring a song for the evening

Clean brass to flash the dawn

across these acres glistening

like dew on a carpet lawn

In these dark towns folk lie sleeping

as the heavy horses thunder by

to wake the dying city

with the living horseman's cry

At once the old hands quicken ---

bring pick and wisp and curry comb ---

thrill to the sound of all

the heavy horses coming home.
