michelle: LMAO @ that LaBrie "Jesus" look, lol, and I get that same "nails on the chalkboard" feel after a few songs haha.... Check this out..gotta love James doing rap.... LMAO, he sounds even worse..and Mikey P in the background, I think he was lit, lol.... And serious about Mike getting downtime! He has got to be the hardest working guy in the biz, and like you said, he should be fine, there are an infinite number of bands out there that need his talent and songwriting skillz!.... And btw, I'm happy to hear you are doing things like that for your daughter michelle, I've got two younger ones left to get through the ordeal, lol, good on you guys! :-)

Glitz Man: Werd on DT, and good luck on your next race in Indianapolis!....

Peace Lily: Good luck with the bank..hope you can get it squared away....

Zinc Master - that would be sweet. I saw them in '88 on the tour when Great White opened for them. Great concert! I would love to see a DVD of that tour.

I found the news back at Melodicrock.com a few weeks back

WHITESNAKE "LIVE AT DONINGTON 1990" DVD/DOUBLE LIVE CD SET OUT IN JUNE ON FRONTIERS RECORDS: The fans demanded it…Whitesnake's Live At Donington 1990 DVD/live double CD set will now be available on June 3 in Europe and June 7 in North America. On August 18th, 1990, Whitesnake headlined the legendary Monsters Of Rock at Castle Donington festival (now known as Download). Whitesnake's performance at the festival was one of the most memorable events on the "Liquor & Poker World Tour" that saw the band play sold-out shows to over one million people. This incredible, never-before-seen, visual footage captures one of the most musically-intense Whitesnake line-ups performing in front 70,000+ fans. Mixed in glorious 5.1 and living, breathing stereo, it's the next best thing to actually being there! Whitesnake 1990 featured guitar greats Steve Vai and Adrian Vandenberg, bassist Rudy Sarzo, drummer Tommy Aldridge and of course, incomparable frontman David Coverdale. The Live At Donington 1990 DVD also includes a substantial gallery of never before seen stills of the band on the "Liquor & Poker World Tour 1990", plus an intimate behind-the-scenes documentary of the making-of the Slip Of The Tongue album. Please see below for the respective double CD and DVD track listings. The Live At Donington 1990 will be in 2CD set, DVD coverpack, combo 2CD + DVD in digipak and digital.

In other news, Whitesnake's brand new album Forevermore is out this week on Frontiers Records and is available in multiple configurations. The album is already receiving rave reviews from the press with The Aquarian dubbing it, "excellent…their bluesiest and grittiest release since their 1984 masterpiece Slide It In…", while Hard Rock Hideout declares, "Make no mistake, Forevermore, is an early front runner for record of the year." Forevermore finds founder/singer/songwriter David Coverdale and company returning to their no-holds-barred, bluesiest, sexiest rock n' roll roots. Whitesnake is David Coverdale (vocals), Doug Aldrich (guitars), Reb Beach (guitars), Michael Devin (bass) and Briian Tichy (drums). The 'Snake will soon hit the road in support of Forevermore… Formed in 1977, and steered by the legendary David Coverdale, Whitesnake carry a rightful reputation as one of the world's leading rock n' roll bands. Coverdale's blues roots, combined with a feral sense of rockin' and rollin', have consistently shaped the 'Snake's sound along with Coverdale's love and appreciation of impeccable musicianship. Whitesnake's ascent to the very top of the rock n' roll heap was confirmed with 1987's self-titled mega-platinum album, which saw two massive Top 10 hits, two #1 singles with "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love" and a virtual 24-hour domination of MTV around the world.

Whitesnake Live At Donington 1990 DVD track listing: 1. Slip Of The Tongue 2. Slide It In 3. Judgement Day 4. Slow An Easy 5. Kitten's Got Claws 6. Adagio For Strato 7. Flying Dutchman Boogie 8. Hello from Norway, Joe!

Question: I'd very much like to use some of my favourite Satch songs as background music for my motorcycle dirtriding and touring helmetcamera videos. The moods those songs inspire and encompass are just unique and spot on!

I'd also like to post these videos on youtube and some other relevant forums - so YOU can make all income from each time these songs are played. ( For instance by registering each time that tune is played/clicked with my videos etc. )

How can that be done? I'm no expert, only do these amateur motorcycle videos at leisure/hobby level and want to play a fair game with your musical copyrights.

Best regards and thanks for awesome music!

Ok, so this is something that someone over at FooFighters.com is doing, creating a disc based on track number. He created a poll to find out peoples favorite for each track number. So, I can't create a poll that I know of, so I do this the hard way. First selections are as follows, pick your favorite. Note:This only includes studio albums.

1.Not Of This Earth 2.Surfing With the Alien 3.Flying In A Blue Dream 4.Friends 5.Time Machine 6.Cool #9 7.Up In The Sky 8.Devils Slide 9.Oriental Melody 10.Gnaahh 11.Super Colossal 12.Musterion 13.Premonition

In the past year I have spent thousands in gear... time to trim down as I have so much of everything... going more toward rack gear.

I have a Satriani Ice 9 Overdrive, and the Saturator Distortion. Both cost me $140 plus taxes each, and then I had to buy adapters. I'm selling each for $100 plus shipping... and that includes the adapters. These are mint and hardly used... comes with original box and manual. If anyone is interested, my email is logicbdj@hotmail.com

Zinc Master - Thanks for the info! That will be a must own for me. Should start seeing some pre order info in a month or so. That set list is really good.

Glitz - Do you run with music playing? I have FINALLY found some earbuds that NEVER fall out and can withstand a good sweat without tearing up in a month or so. The Yurbuds Ironman series. Kind of pricey, but a really solid product if you like to run and can't keep an earbud in because of sweat.

Mr Joe Satriani, I would like to start off by saying that your music is amazing! Especially Revelation. Ive listend to alot of your songs&Ive watched a bunch of your concerts on you tube & I really like your new album, I went out and bought it the first day it came out. Your music means so much to me & You have an unworldly and god given musical talent and this world wouldnt have been the same without you. thank you for your great music joe, every day i listen to your amazing music and think How does he do that? How did he get so good? I know it takes alot of practice and discipline to be come a pro and in my opinion you are past pro. in my mind and musical reviews your in the same rank as Steve Vai, Hendrix, Angel Vivaldi,Buckethead, John Petrucci,Eddie Van Halen,Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, B.B King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dave Martone, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, David Gilmour, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson,Tallan Latz&Joe Bonamassa. and those guys are at the highest ranks in music in my mind. Keep up the great performance and music making Joe. I wish you luck on all your concerts to come. Good luck Satch. please reply back if you get the chance joe. Your loyal fan-Cody H.

Peace, I'm sorry about your Dad, I guess it mean you have him a little longer.

I'm watching these at the moment, just what you need:

A bit of Joe Part I

Part II Joe does some little covers including ACDC

This one's lovely because he describes meeting Rubina. And he talks about T2J.

The he plays If I Could Fly live - *heaven*

Then Hands In The Air

Always With Me, Always With You

Satch Boogie

and

The last bit

Have a nice Easter break everyone.
