JS1200cal rocks, great guitar indeed, the only difference with it really is the pickups and colour, but its a great machine

as for the trem bar, new tefl washers will help, or maybe put some tape around the bar and put it back in?

Just checked my e-mail and happened to read all the good news from Joe, I'm really looking forward the the live cd/dvd release. I love all your live releases Joe and it's going to be a treat to add more to my collection. I'll certainly pick them up the week they come out.

So the Live Loud n Local show here in Portland was great. My band (Earth to Ashes) played well opening night and then got to see some great local acts as well as the Hell Hath No Fury tour which includes In This Moment, Straight Line Stitch, System Divide, and Sister Sin. Got to hang with some of the peeps from Sister Sin and System Divide. They were both really cool. I would recommend checking to see if there is a Live Loud n Local show coming to your town and get your ticket. It's a great way to see and support your local music scene. I know there is one in Phoenix on May 14th. Also, Seattle and Spokane in September. We are hoping to get on the Seattle and maybe even the Spokane one. See ya'll soon.

Total bummer, I was getting so excited for the Satch and Vai Benefit show at HOB LA but there is noooo way that I can afford a $70 ticket right now. Sh*t.

:(

Cant wait for the DVD release though, hooray! This must be what Joe meant when I met him again (for the 3rd time hehee :) at the Orpheum Theater, about my fav. song "The Golden Room" being on the new dvd coming out. I asked him would be killer if he added it to the set list ( Wormhole Tour) and he said "Oh, one of these daaaaays. It will be on the dvd though." weeeeeee!

Thank you Joe

:-)

Skippygirl, I do know a few others and yourself would love to see joe to take a tour out in Australia country, I also notice that if joe ever do tour over there? it is usually rares, I can only suggest to those are Aussie residents that are interested seeing joe in concert? why not just moved over in sf bay area California, you'll have a better chance to see joe and chickenfoot many times in California

TheHawKGuy - thanks for thinking of me. Joe was here a couple of years ago for the PSATMOR tour and I saw him here in Melbourne. Not possible to move to SF exactly, but I am coming over this year. I think I would bawl my eyes out if Joe happened to be doing a show near where I was, at the time I was in the States, and I scored a ticket, but the chances are so remote I can't let myself think about it. And with a family of 4 we can't really just jump on a plane after tour dates are announced, well we could but.....not practical.

That may be one of the reasons I am super excited to move where I am in washington because It is only 20 mins from vancouver and 2 hours from Seattle :)... Joe does not go to spokane often so I just pray everything works out with my move and things like that! I am still waiting to hear back from a few jobs

Randell- That is crazy about your brother, I pray that everything goes ok! Keep us update!

Donkey, what went through your mind when you put a 17 year old kid who's done nothing to no one and is just trying to live out his dream in a positive way (which is more than most people are doing on this planet) in a post with Saddam Hussein & Osama Bin Laden? Bad "joke" son, bad joke. Would you like somebody putting YOUR kid on a list like that?

slan, nice vid. Glad to see they didn't haul him in and some police actually seemed to enjoy it.

Civ, glad you had a great night and had some fun!

Randell, man, yer bro's got it going on! Best wishes to him for a healthy recovery.

Mikey, Joe looking like Tiny Tim? lmao!! That's pretty funny! Now I gotta go back and watch the vid.

Time to get rockin' with some favs on Grooveshark. I'm in the mood for something mellow...

well...maybe after this... lol!

WOO!!! Get the house bouncin'!

:-)

to all those anxious for the presale info/code for the Benefit For Cliff II show with steve vai & friends, just a quick update--- the ticketmaster page that was supposed to be ready by 10am this morning still hasn't come through.

as soon as we get the info that it's up, we'll get it up on the road page!

update: the link is correct, just not live. the password will be CLIFF and ticketmaster says it will be live "between 12:30 and 2pm", so best bet is to just keep checking back starting then.

Hey Joe! I don't want to sound like an ass, but I have to be honest with ya - I really wasn't that impressed with the first Chickenfoot album.

My brother and I (both musicians) were really looking forward to it, and the "teasers" we heard were pretty good. After all, you put all you guys together - each pretty incredible in their own right - and you would expect something phenomenal, right?

Wellllll, we just kinda think it missed the mark. Almost as if, on each song (I'm being a bit general here), each of you is trying too hard to carry the song. Or, perhaps each of you are playing things because you feel that you MUST play something just because you can.

New album coming out... great! I can't wait to hear it, but I may not rush out right away. Perhaps with new material, let the music shine - each of your talents will certainly follow. I want to hear what each of you can do - just not all at once where it takes away from the music itself, or seems as if you are each trying to upstage the other. After all, we're all musicians first, right?

Ok, just my thoughts and I don't want it to sound as if I don't respect what is being done... I DO! Nobody can touch you on guitar... well, maybe Steve (wink-wink)... but lightning fingers are only a small part of being a great guitarist AND a great musician.

So, I am basically saying that I want to hear Chickenfoot. Not a solo project that features Joe, Sammy, Michael, and Chad. Remember: Led Zeppelin didn't write guitar tracks just because they had a guitarist - they wrote a song that needed a guitar track and they just happened to have Jimmy Page on their payroll...

On that note, I look forward to hearing whatever comes next and look forward to the day we meet!

Rock on!

It really blows me away when someone will know who Vai is and not SATRIANI!!!! JOE IS THE GOD!!!!!!!! I think that Vai is obviouisly a very skilled player, however, I just can not get into his music!

castle, i think the CF music is amazing, but the lyrics...*sigh* My Kinda Girl being one of the worst. Sammy needs to take more time with writing or something. Like I said, the music is fantastic.

Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat has better lyrics.

...exactly! LOL!

I admit I could not get past the lyrics. They might be getting in the way of the music for me. Perhaps the second recording will be better.
