Peace, good to get an update on your dad, but sorry to hear about Ten...our 4-footed friends are often like our kids, such a huge part of our family...hope Ten is okay and back home again soon. Hugs to your poppa too, no matter what he chooses. It's gotta be so hard for you to hang back and let him make the decision for himself, but it's what u gotta do. So hard.

Millie, as Mikey D said, keeping up the fight is most important. You gotta take each day, hour or minute as it comes and count it as a victory when you get through it. As I tell my son, giving up isn't an option and getting through is tough but even in the worst moments he has, there's always a bit of relief the next day. So hang in there and try to focus on good things when you feel overwhelmed.

Have a good Sunday everyone! Tomorrow my dad turns 89, and next month my mom will be 90. What a blessing they both are!

Thanks everyone for your reply :) Sadly though I had to return it. Was up all night wondering what to do. First off, I couldnt stop looking at the guitar. I mean, DAMN, was just beautiful. I did play if for a couple of hours, and remembered I had a similar neck at that thickness, and never got used to them. I have small hands so I need a smaller neck. Wish you customize the neck a bit, cause I would of kept it.

I did do something nice though. With the money I got back for it, I could of gotten a guitar of similar value. But this weekend was my best friends birthday, and he has a family of 4. He has NEVER owned a new guitar, and nor can he afford one. So I split the diffference. I got myself another Ibanez for about $400 and him the same but different color.

LOL, guys should of seen him LOL. He been acting like a nut all weekend. He took a picture of the guitar and sent it to all his family and other friends. Never sen him that happy ever. KId has been born into poverty. His best and most expensive guitar was a Service Merchandise guitar for about $80 brand new, that I handed him 12 years ago.

So ya, Im bummed out, but Ive bought other Satch equipment, so I cant win em all. Seeing Paul that happy made my weekend. :)

@Davidford. You are the nicest guy in the world. If only there were more people like you on the planet. Its funny you had the issue with 22 fret guitar with 24 fret neck. I had the same problem a few years ago. Found out the hard way! ha

Anyway. Take it easy

Nick

Watched this movie last night. Good story about depression and how some things seem SO BIG to teens, when in reality they're usually just a blip on the screen of life. It's all about tomorrow being a better day, so if you end it today, you'll never see how good it can be.

It's Kind of a Funny Story

Joe!

Nicki Minaj used your riff from Always With You, Always With Me in her song "Right Thru Me" whichis a pretty mainstream song... Judging by what you said about the Coldplay song, it'll probably make you glad someone found it.

Gotta run to class now, Satch-Fan-4-Life, Jooles

Mikey D and Tracie--Thanks for the encouragement....it's a big help to me to remember to keep living even during the darkest moments. These moments will pass and things will get better even though it looks like a huge struggle to me.

Michelle--I've got to see that movie. I need lots of laughs to keep life in perspective. Thanks for sending that message.

DavidFord--You have to be one of the nicest friends a person could have. Your gift to your friend multiplied his happiness and must have spread to those around him. It made my day to hear about your giving!

GoldenGirl2: Thats the spirit Millicent!! :-) One thing I try to always remember is that no matter how hard it gets; however painful the struggle is to keep up with the pressure and stress of life & work, there is someone out there that has it twice as bad as I do..and they are coping with it.... Keep that positive outlook and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask us, we are here to help! :-)

Jooles...thats old news, Joe gave her permission to use the song.

I was watching Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and wondered WHY THE HELL ISNT SURFING WITH THE ALIEN IN THE SOUNDTRACK!? It would have been perfect for the part where the Human Torch is chasing the Silver Surfer.

besides Surfing With The Alien made the top 30 instrumental songs of all time.

bummer, Joe got ripped off.

Thank you everyone for your kind words!!! Id like to talk further into this, but the news has me bothered,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Can everyone who doesnt watch the news can you look up the little boy from Maine online (dont give links, so you will haveto search news websites). His body has been found dead on the side of the road and NO-ONE knows who he is. Not everyone watches the news, and its possible anyone who knows him isnt aware of it yet. Any info can you please call SOUTH BERWICK, Maine Police or Maine State police. I know this has become nation wide, but still, nobidy has a name for him. I think his mother might be dead too, thats why she hasnt called him missing. :(

PS: Spread the word!!!! Take flyers to your local supermarket and post em. Grandma might not own a tv etc, but she does have to eat. Ugg, this story is killing me :(

Hi Joe, greetings from a big and loyal fan of Brazil! On April 2003 I was just 17 and i enjoyed so much to listen to your great stuff here in São Paulo, in the "Strange Beautiful Music" Tour, which is one of my all-times favorite aIbuns. have to say i would love to see you again, this time in a live performance of "just look up". It's such a beautiful tune! and if it's not asking too much, i also would love to know what the title is about. i just couldn't find some good translation to it :( would've something to do with contemplating the sky?! O_o i mean, while feeling the afternoon warm breeze or sort of...haha! i'm really curious about it 'cause these type of inspired melodies are the most human and meaningful ones in my opinion, and, normally, they have beautiful histories behind it, and if you answer it i swear i'll be very, very happy! :D you know, i think that's why it's been the type of music i like the most: "Very emotional" as you'd say. Thank you so much for delivering us the best of life stuff through them! I'm really expecting you to tell me what's behind that. See ya.

That song is good for the mind, body, & soul! The build right around the 5 minute mark gives me goosebumps every time when it finally kicks in. One of my fav tunes of all time.
