How's it goin' everybody?!

Haven't really been on much lately and I've been kinda busy with my new job and all.

Anyway, just got the BSAWW tab book yesterday and I love it. I was playing Littleworth Lane almost ALL EVENING.

Found this video with this guy doing a voice over for a cat. The guy who does these videos is a genius. Cat Playing "I Spy"

That's about all I have to report. Summer is still about a month away. It's takin way too long to get here.

Ovation: wow that is amazing, congratulations to your mom for surviving! Cancer has hit my family pretty hard before. It is a tough monster to beat but it makes you all the stronger.

I find it amazing how all you guys seem so connected on here, its weird how strangers can come together over something like music and find so much more in common.

Hi everyone. This is quite an interesting question.

Has anyone ever heard a beep in some of Satch's songs.

I first found this in Super Colossal, the beep happens before the chorus. It also happens a few times in One Robot's Dream and Is There Love In Space.

Can anyone, or even the lord Satch himself explain this?

Surfing with the Alien Guitar

.... on ebay. Do a seach if this link doesn't work:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270744553806&category=33034&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

I'm the only one who placed a bid at $800 US... don't care if I win it... if so, then fine, but if someone else wants it, it closes in 6 hours! Limited edition and nice collectors item. Originally retailed for $1700, but saw it as low as $1300. It's new, and comes from a guitar store, so no scratches or problems.

If I met joe and could ask him any question I would have to ask what is his secret to playing such perfect octaves?

I am recording Premonition and the octaves are not nearly as good as his. how does he do it?

Gonna start editing soon and have a video on youtube soon.

InHonor: Thanks for the encouragement on my Mom..she is a fighter (like most Moms) and I think her positive attitude and outlook have something to do with it :-) I really believe the mind can heal the body in many ways that we don't know about.... And kudos on your realization of what goes on here! It's unbelievable how this place is really a community..peeps have traveled around the world to see Joe and have met the members here along the way..we've been through each others good times and bad, and several of the people here joined forces and have made 2 cd's as a tribute to Joe. Very cool stuff indeed....

Blue_Moon: Thats cool about you being on the dvd, I'll have to look for that part, and the song Par Brahm is at the end of Where The Wild Things Are dvd, and cd.... I didn't notice it at first cause it comes on after the last song and Steve says "Thank-you, God Bless" or something, then the music starts....

death cube k: /\/\/\R|< is always in the right place at the right time to post, lol ;-)

Ibanezplyr: Gald to hear the good vibes are working!

I won the 20th anniversary surfing with the alien guitar off ebay... about $742 US. Surprised no one else bid on it, and that it went that low. Should look nice hanging on the wall. Also, recently bought an Eventide Eclipse... some really nice sounds in there, and when coupled with my Line 6 Pod X3 Live (preamp stuff), you get some incredible tones. Another recent purchase... a 1990s Jackson Roswell Rhoads... very rare guitar, although I have the one made of wood, not aluminum. This one came direct from Jackson USA.

Ovation: that is really awesome to hear, that you guys have done that sort of stuff. I don't really play any instruments but I have an older brother in a band and Alecs taught me a lot about music and started to teach me guitar. I'm glad that I can join this community, I think you guys are going to be pretty healing for me

Ive counted 5 of those beeps in Is There Love In Space. Youre right, it could easily be something like that, did you hear it? I might just be insane though...

Does anyone know what gear and settings Joe uses for his new album? Hes got some awesome tones going on there!

Ive decided im going to save £800 then look out for a cheap 1000 or even 1200 on eBay. If nothing comes along soon, ill go for the 100. Cant really go wrong with any of his guitars really.

Byee

Also everyone, you may be interested to know (or not!), that the satch chat is running fine, or at least it is for me. Except that there's no one there. EVER!

Say if its working or not.
