Jooles...thats old news, Joe gave her permission to use the song.

I was watching Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and wondered WHY THE HELL ISNT SURFING WITH THE ALIEN IN THE SOUNDTRACK!? It would have been perfect for the part where the Human Torch is chasing the Silver Surfer.

besides Surfing With The Alien made the top 30 instrumental songs of all time.

bummer, Joe got ripped off.

Thank you everyone for your kind words!!! Id like to talk further into this, but the news has me bothered,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Can everyone who doesnt watch the news can you look up the little boy from Maine online (dont give links, so you will haveto search news websites). His body has been found dead on the side of the road and NO-ONE knows who he is. Not everyone watches the news, and its possible anyone who knows him isnt aware of it yet. Any info can you please call SOUTH BERWICK, Maine Police or Maine State police. I know this has become nation wide, but still, nobidy has a name for him. I think his mother might be dead too, thats why she hasnt called him missing. :(

PS: Spread the word!!!! Take flyers to your local supermarket and post em. Grandma might not own a tv etc, but she does have to eat. Ugg, this story is killing me :(

Hi Joe, greetings from a big and loyal fan of Brazil! On April 2003 I was just 17 and i enjoyed so much to listen to your great stuff here in São Paulo, in the "Strange Beautiful Music" Tour, which is one of my all-times favorite aIbuns. have to say i would love to see you again, this time in a live performance of "just look up". It's such a beautiful tune! and if it's not asking too much, i also would love to know what the title is about. i just couldn't find some good translation to it :( would've something to do with contemplating the sky?! O_o i mean, while feeling the afternoon warm breeze or sort of...haha! i'm really curious about it 'cause these type of inspired melodies are the most human and meaningful ones in my opinion, and, normally, they have beautiful histories behind it, and if you answer it i swear i'll be very, very happy! :D you know, i think that's why it's been the type of music i like the most: "Very emotional" as you'd say. Thank you so much for delivering us the best of life stuff through them! I'm really expecting you to tell me what's behind that. See ya.

I wonder if GP ever heard AWM,AWY 2006??

That song is good for the mind, body, & soul! The build right around the 5 minute mark gives me goosebumps every time when it finally kicks in. One of my fav tunes of all time.

GoGi - have a listen to that!

Dear Mr.Satriani, My name is Deniz Davis I am the asst. GM of the Boulder School of Rock and a music director as well. Our school has been offered a rare chance to have our students play Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 14th 2011. I know this is short notice but we are making the effort to reach out to musical legends as yourself to inspire our kids. Our goal is to to "show kids to how to rock on stage, and in life"

We have contacted a booking agent who claims to represent you, but if you happen to read this you could contact us at: dmason@schoolofrock.com, or call 303-532-1201

Thanks, Deniz

DUDE!, I was just going to post that! LOL! I got the email and sent the info to my hubs. He got very happy, and I'm sure tickets will be bought :-) It's a few days before both our birthdays, so that will be cool. Our shows will have Zappa Plays Zappa too, and that's way exciting! lol! Not a huge, huge fan of Frank's music, but I always liked Dweez and would love to see him live.

Return To Forever tour dates. Anybody that has a chance to see them, GO!

I also got this faq in an email -

Take the last two digits of the year you were born and the age you will be this year and the result will add up to 111 for everyone!!!!

That's just weird.

For any fans of the piano, here is a cool mashup of Michael Jackson and Mozart by a local pianist and cellist. He just posted it to YouTube this morning. You've kind of had to have seen them live to understand their goofy personalities I guess... Anyway, thought it was kinda cool.....

I wonder, should i start playing left handed guitar? I am really left handed, but was kinda forced to play right handed, because I didn't know how to change strings :P
