Hey Joe, I am one of your countless fans and followers, and I also happen to be applying to college. I just wanted to let you know I am using "Wormhole Wizards" as the subject of my personal statement, because that is one of my favorites.

I do have a question on your creative process (I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but it seems to be the only); do you just pick up your guitar and noodle until you hit something good, and then build on it? Or do you pick a particular emotion you want to convey, and then work on expressing that? Or any combination of the above? I have always wanted to be able to express myself as well as you do on the guitar, although I have a long, long way to go...

This actually is somewhat key to my essay, I hope to hear from you soon!

Rock On!

I've been doing a project on you Sir, and I was wondering, what would you exactly say your style of playing would be? With that project, I am also going to play a song. Possibly either Why or Midnight.

Idk if the last post showed up. Mr. Satriani, I am currently doing a project on you. I do a biography and then a performance of one of your songs. I was curious, what would you actually say your style of playing is? I was also thinking of playing either "Why" or "Midnight". My friend did the same thing, but he played Circles. He are actually some of my friends playing at school shows. This is the channel they're on.

Mark, of course I remember Captain Video! I ran into Ned a few years back in London of all places, it was good to see him and reminisce... The double CD "Time Machine" contains 4 of the 5 tracks originally contained on that first EP of mine. "Saying Good Bye" is included on the CD... Joe

Lily, Woodstock Jam is so very intense and honest, a real moment in time captured like a musical supernova. I'm so happy to hear you listened to the whole thing, as it was meant to be taken in... Joe

Honest to God, I was listening to Woodstock Jam earlier tonight as well. I was trying to understand it to see if it had any deeper meaning the just being a jam.

Peace - inspired by your post I'm listening to Woodstock Jam driving home from work. I haven't listened to it in a long time. I'm with you I feel giddy.... I do like my vinyl Time Machine with the written sleeves explaining each song. And it's the only cover where Joe is dressed up in costume and not his normal clothes, unless he wears black capes at home....

Its our turn for a tour Joe!!

Hey Joe,

Hope all is well?

I hope you don't mind but I just want your permission firstly as I was thinking of setting a tribute band of your good self called Satrionics and just wanted to know if you would be cool with it?

I am based in Manchester England and wanted to do this project in dedication to your good self.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Going on a "girls only Holiday " to the coast...really looking forward to getting away for a few days..gotta make sure I have my i-pods charged so I can bring along my "JOE".

Funny thing about WoodStock Jam is if you are in the right frame of mind your thoughts can float right along with it ....

LOL my first "blue" response to a post ... ridiculous how happy it made me ....although I wish I had been saying something more profound about the song....but anyway .......

Oxley- Thats why I decided to listen thru the first time ..it's kinda like well Joe wrote this song..he had an inspiration to do so and listen to decipher the mood and inspiration behind the song and I love to listen to JOEs songs with head phones so I can hear all the "layers" in them.....

Skippygirl-That's funny......RE;(unless he wears a cape at home.) I have not listened to the song while driving ...I think I would "zone out" and not be able to pay attention..... seriously...... :-)

Peace - oooh I love trips away with the girls, have fun! Girl trips are times to laugh, watch all the DVD's you want, dance, sleep, dirnk and get troppo, ending up in a big re-charge of the batteries. Last time I had a girls trip one of them said, "Is that your Joe Santorini music?" LOL! I hope you have a great time. And yes it's nice to see some blue. There's always a tad more around album release time. I play Joe every day in the car. I still give SWTA (live version) a belt just before I get to work, every day. I dream that I can play it one day.

Cheesey - did you get Foot tickets?? Still praying for a miracle here. Or I might just come back over goddammit.

Shel - I voted for Erin's design, I did think it was the best one there.

Kayla - hehe yeah you have to watch the road when you play Joe, and it would be cool whilst snowboarding too. I have been known to air guitar whilst driving down the freeway but I never told you that.....

Happy Friday peeps!!!!
