I'd have to say Made Of Tears is one of my favorites along with Cool #9 from the same DVD. But Starry Night Live At Denver has to be my favorite. Especially with the awesome blues solo at the end.

i feel terrible for the first responders who got ill & have since died or are so ill that they can't work & know that eventually their illnesses will kill them. over a thousand volunteers have died from illness and in the years to come those who die from illness will outnumber those who lost their lives on 9/11

thinking of them & their families

I just want to Thank you Joe for your time at Ironstone. Cary and I were very impressed with the set before we met you and after we met you...we can honestly say that you are the most generous, gracious and humble person who can make those Ibanez guitars sign, especially loved the Orange one!

Can't wait until next time. I know that there are a few who don't get it, but believe me we do!

Thank you again for your time and I will say it again...after that set...I do believe!!!

Dear Joe, i used one of your older tracks - Crushing day, from the Surfing with the allien album, as a background of my home video clip where me and my son are having fun at a go kart track. I have no intention to have any commercial profit by it, of course. Hope you'll like it, and i will have your permission to upload it on my facebook. I will take in concideration any of your conditions. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYhGNdpx6U8

From Guitar Player ... 50 Fastest Guitarists of All Time

Joe Satriani SIGNATURE SONG: “Satch Boogie” ALBUM: Surfing with the Alien

Shred was born in 1987 on the day Joe Satriani released Surfing with the Alien. Satch took all the rock guitar virtuosity that had gone before—Hendrix, Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, etc.—and brought it all a giant step further, adding a few new tricks to the lexicon of hot guitar moves and upping the land speed record for notes-per-nanosecond. But where earlier ax heroes employed techniques like tapping and dive bombing to dazzle and astound, Satriani’s mastery lies in his ability to subsume daunting technical maneuvers into beguiling, seemingly effortless melodic statements that appeal to guitar geeks and the general public alike. His secret? Satch is one guitar virtuoso who never lost touch with his rock and roll heart. :-)

Cube - I only have a bit of arthritis in my old fingers, it's not so much out of practice but never been in practice. I've only just started trying to learn how to play and at 54 it's proving a challenge almost as difficult as trying to understand wimmen.
