Joe

I recently completed a Three Peaks Challenge for charity and have made a video of stills from the challenge using your track 'Friends' as a soundtrack. I'd like your approval and permission to use the music before I post it online.

NB No-one will gain fiscally from this video, nor will it be used in any commercial way whatsoever.

Thanks

Andy

We've had a wee bit of rain. Glad my neighborhood was okay. Sucks for a lot of people though.

My daughter wrote this when she was just 12 years old ~ after September 11, 2001.

Don't ever fool yourself into thinking children don't understand what's going on. They're much wiser than we think they are. Her class made a book of poems and sold them to give the proceeds to the victims of 9/11. I gave a copy to the local fire company, and I sent a copy of her poem to Joe.

It's gonna be a tough day for a lot of people tomorrow. So many are heartbroken and feel it like it was yesterday. Such harsh memories and feelings of despair. It's still so heavy.

Worst day ever IMO.

'nuff said.

as tragic as the whole thing was, i dont want to watch a show reinacting minute by minute of the events.... must have seen at least 5-6 shows in the last 24 hrs bout it >:(

Things were so different 10 years and a day ago.

On T2J there was a lot of good and a lot of bad during the first few days of September 2001, from that hilarious I Believe (In Ice Cream) parody to one of us losing a relative in a car crash. And then Joe posted a story about how he would never again complain about little things like a broken toe. My perspective on life changed when I read that, just as it probably did for others here, and then it changed for everyone everywhere just a few days later...

((HUGS))

Al, it's Irish, figure it out :-)

Not watching ANY 9/11 programs on tv. To much man. To much. I remember, and I saw it as it was happening. I don't have to see it again.

Last night while putting our groceries in our car, we look up to see some yahoos in a loud white pick up truck going past the front of the store with a giant Confederate flag blowing in the wind - like a fucking rally cry for hatred on the eve of 9/11. Some people are just so pathetically sad. I do hope they drove that truck into the right part of city, but I bet their little balls would never go that far. That would be a challenge, to which they would not survive.

There's a couple of shows tonight on TV about a handful of people who lost people on 9/11. Over 10 years the progression was from grief, anger, heartache, helplessness to hope, healing and moving on. I bawled my eyes out, Mr Skip kept up the tissue supply. We'll be in NYC on Sept 23 and we'll visit the memorial to pay our respects.
Its our turn for a tour Joe!!

Flight 93 was on last night. Its so sad, those people are heroes. They deserve a hero's memorial. Thank you for your sacrifice, you will never be forgotten.
