New CF release Aug. 2

Possibly no social security release Aug. 3.

Should be an interesting week to say the least.

CRANK IT!!

and for those of you who can's get Grooveshark = CRANK IT!!

Cleaning & crankin' the tunes! Nice way to spend a day off in the AC when it's hot as a mofo outside! Got my 204 Grooveshark favs on shuffle. Now playing: Dave Weiner - Shove The Sun Aside.

What's everyone else doing to deal with this heatwave?

Peace Lily- RE: Shred Like Satch sweepstakes. I know the website says that to enter without purchase you must send in a 3x5 postcard, but postal regulations require a minimum of
3 1/2''X5''. You can buy postage-paid postcards at your post office for $.32 (postcard postage is only $.29.) I bought 6 sets of strings, so I thought I'd buy 44 postcards, that way I have 50 chances of not winning, ha! I have never won a contest in my life (not counting a few lottery tickets here and there, for small amounts).

I tried to call D'Addario yesterday to clarify that issue, but nobody at the company (that I was able to talk to) had ANY idea about ANY contest they were sponsoring. They ended up transferring me to the strings for bowed instruments division.... I will try again... right now and post any info I get.

Ian

*EDIT- Davy Knowles' Live album is $1 cheaper on Amazon.

EDIT 2- Just got it for free from Amazon because they didn't inform me of their variable bit rate policy before I purchased the album. The lowest song is 224Kbps, which is fine I suppose. Most are 256K and about 5 of them are 320K. I'm not gonna re-purchase it from iTunes; although they did tell me that I have to delete the songs from my computer, HA!

This vid has so much bang I had to watch it twice. lol! Her music isn't necessarily my cup o' tea, but jeeeesus man, she can't be touched by anyone out there.

But then, some of us prefer the old school way of cuttin' loose!

Reading Ties Record Of 102f

So what temp did everyone else have to deal with today. I know some places are hotter than here in PA. Tomorrow & Saturday are supposed to be wicked hot. With the heat index it should feel like 105 - 110 tomorrow.

God bless anyone without AC. This heat ain't no joke! Peeps be fryin' chicken on the ground! lmao!

*shiver*
