Hello Everybody!

Hope everyone is well. Work is coming along fine; been doing my usual running (speed workouts, races, etc.) I'm planning on two marathons this fall, one of them in Michigan. I've also been doing some more karaoke. I try to be eclectic as much as I can. Doing 80's, country, alternative, rock, pop, hip-hop, rap, etc. I'm in the finals for one karaoke contest on Aug. 23rd. Might be doing another one this upcoming Saturday.

Kayla, congrats to ya.

Ibanezplyr: Sorry to hear of your brother's passing. I do pray and hope you have a safe birthday.

To Everyone: Hi and hope you all are doing well. Looking forward to the new Chickenfoot album.

Joe, all the best for you, Sammy, Michael, Chad, and to all of the crew.

Chat with ya later.

Grant

So this is weird.

I turn up and the business associate we are working with says "oh yeah, Satriani, I went to his concert 4 or 5 years back here in Bangalore, he's more than good! There must have been thousands of people there!" not a satcher, but a mini-fan at least!

I'm sitting in hard rock cafe, had a good look at jimi's jacket and there's one of chad's caps here too.

Enjoying India, awesome country..

Joe. I live in Tahlequah Oklahoma. Not exactly the rock capital of the world. Im 19 and I've been performing solo to backing tracks for a while now. I do alot of blues, some covers, a couple of AC DC songs for the crowd, Freebird, some Pink Floyd sounding stuff, Mistreated by Deep Purple, a couple of yours and some of mine. Everywhere I play people tell me Im amazing but I know how good I am. Im not amazing. I feel like Im tricking people or something. I love music that is complex yet has soul. This soul comes from the appreciation of music, the appreciation of how much work has to be put into music, and especially the love of music. Very few people here appreciate complex music. I plan on moving to OK city to attend this college; ACM@UCO. Im hoping they will teach me everything on theory. I have people give me the same advice all the time you know? Im just wondering what advice you have on all this.

Google isn't the number, its spelled differently.

A googol is 1.0 x 10^100

100 zeros and a googoplex is 1 with a googol zeros.

Google is supposed to be similar but not the same.
