Hi everyone, this is Erin, Michelle's daughter. I'm a graphic design major and we had an assignment for one of my classes to make a design for Roots of Development (you can Google them). Overall, they are an organization that is helping the people of Haiti rebuild their communities. The design is meant to be printed on canvas grocery bags that will be sold at Whole Foods stores, and the profit from the bags will go to Roots of Development. My design got chosen as a finalist! (As well as some of my friend's!) I would really appreciate if you guys could take a minute to vote. All you have to do is go to their Facebook page and 'like' the design. Here is the link to the choices. Mine is the last one in the second row with the hands.

Thank you everybody!

I was just introduce to your music a few months ago. My band got so into it that we fired our singer and just did Satriani covers (mostly) and folks went crazy at the end of our set. None of the teen bands (we are still in H.S.) wanted to follow us so they ended up putting some old guys with banjos. Funny Stuff. We however were offered more gigs that one day then we had been in the entire 6 month prior. Proof that you are still the king!

TNTBAND

Also funny is that I have a Ibanez Jem (Vai's Guitar) that died trying to play this stuff. Guess I now know what to trade up to!!!! You Rock!

If everything airport-related is on schedule, I'll be meeting Skippygirl and crew for dinner in an hour and a half or so, before she heads back home.

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

More from me later...I owe replies to a few people here.

Troy :-)

tiki, my daughter likes it alot too. She's the Blink fan. I'm an individual member fan. lol!

P. Lily, on page 47 Joe talks about becoming a vegan, then pushing it further and giving up all sugar, alcohol, and caffeine! I read that and thought "what's left??" lol! Damn crazy kids these days! lol! He eventually came to his senses, but I admire him for giving it a shot...as crazy as it is. lol! Also love Joe's take on having a "hit". lmao!! In reference to Different Devil - "The others like cheerful. I'm the only one pissed off about this happy commercial song."

That's really funny to me & my twisted sense of humor.

Stu, hope yer having dinner with the Skippy's right now!

Anybody that voted for my daughter's project - thanks!

This is so awesome! Be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the page!

Chad, I'm not 100% sure about that, but I bought my cd off Amazon, and it came with the 3-D glasses. I'm also getting the special fan-pack set *which hasn't arrived yet even though it's from the Van Halen store in the US and peeps who ordered from the UK already got theirs*...but that should come with the glasses too.

I think if the packaging is in 3-D, you shuda prolly gotten glasses. Check with the store you bought it at maybe?

Hi Joe ! I hope everything's fine for you. Here is my question : will Flying in a blue Dream be remastered ? Because the CD version is not the best I could listen to in your wonderful discography. I dream of a remastered version as good as the Surfing one. Please let me know master of sound ! ;-)

To the Most Esteemed Alien representative Mr. S! -- I just wanted to tell you that I saw you down in LA for Cliff II, at the meet & greet with my son; you signed his guitar, and I wanted to say thank you!!! again.

It was pretty rushed in there and I felt bad afterwards there were only a few seconds to give you the thanks and appreciation you are due for what you have done for the art of guitar, for music lovers, and the planet. Seems Steve was getting more attention! LOL, but you are The First amongst the gods.

Can't wait to see your next concert!

Thanks again. There - enough adulation? sorry to make ya gag. :)

JOE, Please send this vid to Jeff Campitelli! So funny! I know Jeff speaks Italian, so it might even be funnier for him beings that I don't speaks it and it's funny for me. lol! Maybe you know what the're saying too? The look on this boys face when he gets what he wants is the best!

Today is my son's 20th birthday. No more teenagers in the house. Jayzus, where did the time go?

ZZ's birthday is later this month. Wonder if he'll be getting his own guitar instead of using his dad's. lol!

Chad...we're still here, still plugging along. I spend all my time between working, then taking care of my folks and Chris. Thanks for asking, we're okay :) Hope all is well with you, how's lil Logan berry?

Peace Lily...I KNOW!!! I went to bed and coulda easily been out here watching had I known Joe was gonna be on. I don't know why it wasn't announced anywhere...I did know about the live birthday bash webcast but no clue my favorite guy would be on too :( Sad. We should keep our eyes out for any possible rerun I guess!

I think the packaging of Chickenfoot III is really cool, I loved seeing all the pics and special effects. My favorite card pic is Chad's, the drumsticks are just flying all over, lol!! Had fun scanning the barcode thingies too for that lil something extra :)

I's tarred 24/7 these days...but am loving the Fall weather. One of the things we got done today so far is to pick apples...gonna make applesauce for my folks and Chris. Fall is my favorite time of year.

Love ya Joe.

I knew the Bash was on, but it was way late for somebody who wakes up at 5 a.m. - on the east coast.

I'm really diggin' Chickenfoot III these days! Listened to it a few times now, and even the songs I didn't like at first have grown on me. I even took the cd to work and played it there for everyone. I'll probably do that again on Monday. The hubs likes it too, and our favorite song is... Come Closer :-)

Even if I'm in the car alone, I still say "That's my Joe" when I hear his amazing guitar parts. lol! SMOKE!!

Come Closer

Well we did indeed have dinner with the gorgeous Austin Lewis, great to meet you A! I put a couple of pics up on my FB page.

Feels strange to be home again - we had such a great time in the US it felt like we were away for ages. It will be hard to go to work tomorrow. We did so many fun things and just had a ball. I missed the Chickenfoot road shows by a month, but have fun everyone and one day I'll get to see Joe play again somewhere, hopefully with a lot of T2Jers and some Redheads.
