It's snooooo-wiiiiing in Pennsylvania!

This is madness I tells ya.

Let me just add that this is a big fat fluffy wet snowflake kind of snow. Very pretty to look at, but we're gonna hear trees snapping all night if we get the amount they're calling for. It just started around 9 a.m. and we already have about an inch. They want the heavy stuff to come this afternoon. Yikes! lol!

Think it might be time for a snow dance.

Hey Joe, I was one of the lucky 10 winners in the D'Addario contest this summer and won a signed JS100 by you along with 20 sets of stings, picks, straps, etc...I still have a smile on my face--thanks! Saw you down in Cabo with Sam and the boys last month...what a fantastic live show, i'm so looking forward to St Louis this week.

Just wanted to say thanks for being an inspiration and for continuing to put out some real kick ass music.

Man that snow storm sucked! So many without power. Trees/branches/wires down on every block around here. As an extra added bonus, its 57 degrees in my house! I personally do not enjoy a home with no electric. Its not an adventure. Its not fun. It just straight up sucks balls. Lol! Especially when its freezing and/or hot. Even Mike Portnoy was without power yesterday, and probably still is.

Balls I say! BALLS!

Awesome deal of the day for anyone looking for an all-in-one printer. Ours took a crap, and my hubs has been looking for a while. Sweet deal.

Mr Wooley, I was actually writing a post to you when the power went out yesterday. So sorry for the loss of your bro. Happy birthday to him. That hurts my heart. I'm 47. Hugs.

Got the new Chili Peppers cd while we were out today. Heard most of it and liked what I heard.

Man, that storm REALLY tore up the trees around here. We took a drive to the other side of town, and there were soooo many branches down, trees split, and just a mess in general everywhere. An elderly man died about 4 miles from here as he slept in his recliner in his mobile home. A tree landed on him and killed him instantly. Poor dude never knew what hit him. My sis in law has a huge tree on her side porch. It busted through the porch roof & cracked the thick cement slab deck in two places. She was very lucky. She lives probably within a mile on the same mountain as the elderly man.

This really makes ya think of how spoiled we are on a daily basis. Makes you count your blessings, that's for sure.

michelle and others..I very much appreciate the kindness..there are just people that come into your life that you just have near your mind no matter what goes on..my brother is one of those for me..eventhough we had our wars..his passing left a huge void in my life..as most who have lost someone can relate..it's been a while but there are always memories..point here is to enjoy and love life and be thankful for everything!!

Hi All,

Joe, thanks for all the music since your first release. Your creations are awesome. For about the last 20 years, word of a new release from you has helped keep me sane.

I happen to be a huge RUSH fan, however not so much with the 2112 era of RUSH. The in-between era such as Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows, and Hold Your Fire are one of my favorites. Those 3 albums, which I consider mystical albums, (not sure if you are a RUSH fan) help expand the mind, body, and soul. For the past 20 years YOU and RUSH have pretty much been my main consistently replayed music CDs.

I've noticed a trend with RUSH's music and the musical styles of the 80s and early 90s is mostly gone. I think a lot of the creativity in music has disappeared. Perhaps it is because much of the synthesizers have disappeared along with lyrical intelligence.

Although music written in that type of format may slow down an individuals thinking processes. It also helps expand a persons cognitive reasoning. Sometimes it may result in an individual stating that the music is too slow or perhaps way too fast for them to enjoy. Thus, resulting in a persons likes and dislikes.

Your musical creations continue to amaze me.

I was thinking awhile ago that it would be interesting if you could mix some of the Flying In A Blue Dream guitar techniques and mixes into some of the Chickenfoot songs except in a way that does not appear to repeat Eddie Van Halen. I believe the Chickenfoot albums are all very original and I feel as though Chickenfoot is the new Van Halen of the (80s / 90s), although I should not think that way.

It would be really cool if you, Sammy, and Eddie could tour together sometime. I think it would be major fun for the three of you and a great show for the fans.

As I mentioned.... much of the older styles of music along with intellectual creativity have somewhat vanished. Or perhaps it's just the way time has warped my brain. I find myself listening to musical groups of the past more frequently than what is released on radio. Most songs I hear on the radio result in an instant station change and then power off, insert CD from the past. Kinda like TV remotes. 100 channels and there still isn't anything worth watching.

Best wishes to all.... with tons of respect and admiration.

Hi All,

Joe, we miss you, as you alone not chickenfoot, here in England, when are you coming back?

Kayla - WOW & Congratulations....you so deserve some happiness!

Wooleyman - I am glad you have a good brother to help you through, mine are horrible to me, even more so since mum died a few months ago...I wouldn't mind so much if there was a reason for it, but there is none, if anything it should be the other way round given that over the last 30 years I have always been the one to visit them, not a major amount but at least once a year, and yet they have only ever visited me once each in that time, and that was because mum told them too! ...anyway it warms my heart to see that there are nice ones out there.

Hope all in Satchiland are well!

Hugs Satriella xx
