not so much a criticism, as an observation.

Much bigger problem when someone ELSE does it

I prefer to begin the day with a friendly voice... a companion unobtrusive...he typically plays that song that's so elusive...gives me a rush.

But to each his own ;?)

Currently eating biscuits and listening to Heart - Bad Animals... how retro!?

JVMJem - thanks. Have been to the stores... just don't really get long enough and as yet haven't been able to try them all side by side. Tried the JSX but not for long and got lost in the moment.

Cube - interesting as always, thanks. Totally agree on the Diezel... the Diezel was presented to me as a "try that" and I hadn't heard of them before... loved it, hated the price tag in the shop, which was for the head only lol

Did I miss the 5150 story??

Cosmic Ape - that's really handy info. Could you get Joe's sounds from it? Got any video or audio of it? An unusable effects loop sounds like an expensive waste of amp : (

Cuth - hello : )

dream3 - glass houses mate, maybe a little more respect for your elders like chelle belle ; )

peace lily - having a beer with you, it's been a hell of a month, on the back of another 17 of them : ) which included missing napa (sob sob). BSAWW soooo great

Skippygirl - yum yum. It's a great walk along their too huh. I have to go back, again

Guitarman77897 - nice gag, I have to remember that one

turbo - thanks for that link, had missed those. They look cool as...

Right, back to the biscuits

Is anyone else going to the LA show?

dream3 - yep, I agree, you earn respect. Chelle never had to try to earn mine. Most folks don't, an I don't have many lollies... glass houses shouldn't be too hard to figure : )

two shay - had no idea on Billy Joel, lmao. Not a fan no, thanks for the inform. Won't be buying it

peace lily - just rolling with it, sometimes it's ok. Good music helps, & good folks like yourself. Cheers

I agree, it is a waste. Because my tubes and some caps needed to be replaced, I always thought that's what was causing the loss on clarity. Imagine my disappointment when I got my amp back in shape and the FX loop still left a lot to be desired.

The amp comes with a channel switcher that engages the FX loop too. It's too bad that even when you turn the loop off, the tone is still significantly changed. I mean, I had to turn it all the way up for a 500+ people hall to barely hear myself and when I gave up on the loop, ended up playing the gig on the clean channel and the amp's master on 2.5!

It was definitely an expensive mistake. Something I did not know how to assess back when I bought it. I also bought it because I got a great deal on it. In the future, I think I will have more experience to pick something that is more suited for me and my playing. The thing still kicks ass, though. And you can definitely get some JOE tones from it without too much effort. I'd say you can run a Satchurator through the clean channel and pretty much be there, but I do not own that pedal.

I can't help wondering if the head version presents the same issues... Either way, I will be buying much smaller amps in the future and testing them thoroughly! I don't care for hauling heavy ass amps!

I do not have clips, but I guess I can put something together ;)

Poke fun if you will, but please don't tell me you didn't get the reference...if the authorities up there thought that were the case, you might be deported...worse yet...they could make you drink Budweiser for a year!
