Hey Satch,
I'd say play some of the classics but also play something you have never (or rarely) played live. Like If I Could Fly, Lords of Karma, Asik Veysel. I would love to see another version of Searching.
There are hundreds of videos of Ice 9 and Satch Boogie but none of Souls of Distortion.
Just something to think about.
Good luck Joe.

Hello Joe & Everybody:
Joe: As for your setlist, here is my list of suggestions:
Musterion, The Chords of Life, Movin' On, Mountain Song, Revelation, The Forgotten Parts 1 & 2, Come on Baby, Raspberry Jam Delta V, and The Crush of Love
As for the group, here are my suggestions:
Crowd Chant, Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix, You Really Got Me by The Kinks, Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, and maybe some Bruce Springsteen maybe Born In The U.S.A. or Born to Run ;)
Have today off from work, and taking today off from running. Thought I put a post in to see how everyone is doing.
Work is coming along well, we'll be busy sometime next week with Valentine's Day Reservations, a big group coming in to stay at the hotel for about a week, plus the opening of our new bar.
Running is going well. Last Sunday was the Fort Wayne Track Club Banquet. I got to meet Shalane Flanagan, whom was our guest speaker, and will be competing for the U.S. at the 2012 Olympic Games, which she'll be running the women's marathon. I received a plaque for taking 1st place in my age group, and I also received the 2011 FWTC Spirit of Running Award, which was a huge surprise. I didn't expect getting that award.
I have decided to stay with the FWTC for another year and I have two races coming up this month; one next Saturday (first FWTC Points Race which is a 5K), and the other is on February 26th, two days after my 27th birthday, which I'm running, for the second time, the (4th) Annual Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon.
Talk with y'all later.
Grant

Joe you should throw 'em a curveball and do a jam of your own song Lifestyle!!!
But for you songs setlist: I think everybody here would agree with me that they would love to hear SECRET PRAYER live. And browsing through my CD's I saw Motorcycle Driver and was like......hmmmmmm. Yes.
On the note of Crystal Planet, I could pop that into my computer, DVD player, radio, etc. any day. Still my favorite Satch album and the best thing about it is that's it's probably the longest album he's made. 15 songs that never fail to amaze me. None of them are weak by any means and each one is completely different. Not to mention his beautiful tone all throughout the album. I could go on all night. I better stop now. lol

G'day Joe
Just watched Moneyball was a good movie not big on baseball but was well worth the watch you must of been stoked to be asked to play the National anthem for a movie based on a true story of the A's notching up a massive 20 straight wins which is to this day still the American Leaugue record and i have to ask the girl who plays Brad Pitts daughter did ya teach her guitar or what she is picking away like a rockstar.
Songs for upcoming G3 Tour
1) Hands In The Air.
2) The Golden Room.
3) Just Like Lightning

They asked him to play the Anthem because he actually played the Anthem at that game in real life.
pretty cool huh?
The only reason I saw Moneyball was because Joe is in it.
