aaaaaaaaaaaaand just as I open up to the MSN homepage, it tells me who won the feckin women's gymnastics today! LOL! bastids!
Playing Stanley Clarke Journey To Love on Spotify. If anyone wants to hear the song Joe did with him, it's on the album 1, 2, To The Bass, and the song is called Hair. Search it and give it a listen. I talked to Joe about that song after one of the gigs a few years back. He said Stanley never gave him a copy, so he hadn't heard it. I was like "Um...you can buy it at the store." lol!

hey Joe, i watched the vid of you showing the guitars on the wormhole tour. i had a orange '73 camaro and that color is exactly the same as that orange guitar. its also very similar to the new orange camaro. it does look better on the car though. i wish Ibanez would make the light blue guitar with the single coils available. that would be cool.

Mr. Satriani,
My name is Evan Khan, and I would like to begin by saying that I have very much respect for you, and that I look up to you as a guitarist. I have to admit that I didn't begin playing because I heard you, in fact, the first time I heard you on CD, I din't get it. But now that I actually have some experience behind a guitar, I can really appreciate your unique, intricate style and technique. recently, I have found myself in a sort of musical hole where no matter what I do, I can't find hardly any inspiration for improvisation. I have started teaching myself music theory, but it isn't quite helping. I would very much appreciate it if you were to give me some tips and tricks to dig myself out. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. khanevan@yahoo.com
Very Respectfully,
Evan Khan

Well things are looking good so far. At the moment I am ranked #99 and the top 96 make it to the next round, but several friends voted for me and Whooznxt hasn't registered them yet. Man I am excited!

Your music is very inspirational I am going to make an attempt to play Just look Up. That song always makes me cheer up when i feel down and stressed out. You are the reason i continue to play guitar. When will you be in Chicago?

Dear Mr.Satriani,
My name is matt crimmins and I am a physically and emotionally i njured vet from the WTC attacks. This is not a scam and I have proof of medical records should you ask for them. I was a NYC Paramedic for 20+ years up until that day. I was actually off that day but when the first plane hit, I grabbed my gear and headed in.not caring about my own safety. I had lives to save.. As I arrived at what we called the "pile" i was blown away by the death and destruction. I was trained to help people but most everyone had aleady passed away. That hit me really hard resulting in me having PTSD and nightmares nightly.I stayed for hours if not days dogging with my bare hands and 50 gallon buckets. Then things got even worse. I suffered a massive heart attack which killed 45% of my heart muscle and have emphysema now. I also reaggravated a herniated disc in my back and while diggging for survivors, I snapped my humujrus ans severered a nerve in my arm yhet I kept on digging. My wife at he time was 3 months pregnant with my first son ans she miscarried and blamed it on me for keeping on returning to the site to search for survivors. I was devastated. I had benn saving for my one wish in life, besides my son. A Joe Satriani JS1000 guitar. I had to sell all of my equipment fir co pays and heart medication but now its out of reach. Playing music and listening to music is great therapy to me. It helps me cope with the loss of my unborn son and friends and co-workers I lost that day. That is why Im begging you Mr. Satriani to help me get the guitar of my dreams. You have no idea the emotional help a gift of that caliber would help me. I have nothing. My mom just went through 6 cardiac bypasses and my 39 year old sister went into cardiac arrest and has residual brain injury and I am on permanent disability so there is no way I could ever afford the JS1000 guitar of my dreams. It would mean the world to me if someone of your caliber would help just an ordinary medic who did his job the best I could and when I finally do pass away, I will be buried with it. Thank you for your time and cinsideration.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Matt Crimmins; NYC/NYS REMAC Paramedic Disabled
