Chellebelle - who are you calling a man? Oh.... doh!
We know me brain is sinister already lol they talked me through all sorts, not sure if Im being too blase but as I feel pretty ok apart from certain day to week to month things to deal with then not sure how else to feel
Sorry to hear about Mom & Sis (I had to read back). Wow, so much going on. No wonder we all need Joe's healing powers
Rats, I'm still awake - I guess that's ruining the odds on the will I sleep guessing game. That being said, I do get the odd half/hour or so, sometimes throwing in a luxurious 3.
Does being awake, but not actually doing anything physical burn calories? That could be one of my dumbest questions yet....

QUESTION TO JOE : when you compose a track do you have a certain method of composing or your way of composing is difeerent in each music track? For example do you use just your imagination and thoughts to compose a melody or a guitar solo ? .................... or at first your thoughts are discipline , strictly based on music theory and afterwards the composing, you add the feeling with bends , harmonics , e.t.c?

Hello Everyone
I just want to let you all know that I'm doing alright. Been busy with work, running, and family. I miss chatting with you all, but I do try to find time to read the posts here.
Work is coming along alright, a bit stressful, but okay. Just grateful that I have a job; waiting tables, working banquets, and even bartend. Going to be busy Thanksgiving Day, expecting about 500+ people coming to eat our buffet.
Running has been going great. I have been doing a lot of training (almost every day) for the past month and a half to two months. I have done five marathons total so far this year. My last one was back on November 12th and I finished 10th overall with a time of 3 hours and 35 seconds (3:00:35). I shattered 10 minutes off my personal best, which gets me qualified to go to Boston for 2013.
Looking forward for my vacation from Nov. 26th - 30th. I'm thinking of either going to see Bret Michaels here in town on the 27th, or go to Michigan for Thanksgiving. It's been a while since I was up there with them for the holiday.
Talk with you all later peeps. Be safe y'all.
Grant

So I am gonna get a JS100 for christmas, I am not even gonna try for the 1200 or 2400 anymore, everytime I get close to $2000 something comes up and the guitar always gets pushed back,
so I have the money for the 100 but if I want the transparent red, I have to wait until Dec 26 to order, I can get the Black one right now.
My sister got a new Ipod and the warranty expires in 30 days so she got her christmas present a month early, So I can either get a black JS100 right now or a red one after christmas. What do y'all think?

dear joe,
i hope you'll note this post:
http://zenith-nantesmetropole.com/index2.php
indeed, there is not only PARIS in france and you must know the whole of your fan are not in this town !! in my case (i've done it several times), never again i'll go to see you again, travelling several hundreds kilometers towards this f------g town: TOO EXPENSIVE !! i'm in love with your music nearly 30 years but now it's too much now and hurtful to see only PARIS and PARIS again...OK La Roche Sur Yon(1998) was certainly hurtful for you too!(so few people there was) but the risk to come in Nantes is less then in LRSY so PLEASE just think to come only one time in this town
i'll always be fan but, once again, never come again in PARIS to see you, how many people in my case ?! how many times for you to take risk to perform outside Paris ?
Respect !
A real fan!

Cube, Idk what year your PRS is but I just got a Custom 22 with the new V12 finish and it is such a great improvement. Not only that the finish is gorgeous, you barely feel it if at all. The neck feels faster than any other finished neck I've tried. My hands sweat a lot and I haven't had any issues yet.
JVM, you should look for a used PRS. Idk about your side of the pond, but over here if it ain't Gibson or Fender you can find it used for a good price... There's a used 24 at my local Guitar Center for like $1,500. That's a freaking steal!

Eeek there's 9 of us registered to attend the Melbourne show, so I have a 1:8 chance of winning the after show pass *sigh* not gonna happen.
Those others had better have tickets..........
Pip and JVMJem I hope all works out for the best with your respective scans. And I hope you are getting excited about the Chickenfoot shows only 7 or 8 weeks away. Give Joe a hug for me please.

Just got great news from my sister! The doc doesnt need to see her for TWO years! That means the tumor is slow growing. Woot! Eventually she'll have to have cyber~knife surgery, but for now she's good.
Thank you Jesus!!

Scubz, I would agree. I guess they dont wanna mess with it till she starts getting symptoms. It will affect her motor functions in her legs first~ if it does grow. They're doing a wait & see thing. If it doesnt grow, she may never need surgery. There is a very high percentage of menengioma tumors that are not cancer, and are slow growing. The one they removed was cancer free, and they believe this one is too.

From Musicradar.com
Have there been any changes to your guitars and rig?
Satriani: "In the space between the two Chickenfoot outings – our last tour and this run of dates – I've moved completely to using the Ibanez JS2400. I did the Black Swans album and tour and Chickenfoot III with the 2400, and it's really something how going from 22 to 24 frets can affect your playing.
"You might not think that two extra frets can change what you do, but the difference can be huge. There were a few times on stage when I'd actually look at the neck and go, 'Now where's D? Where's E?' [laughs] It's funny now, but it wasn't so funny at the time.
"There's something ergonomically pleasing about having those two extra frets. Plus, you can play higher notes, which might not be so good for the general public. [laughs] And the guitar just sounds better to me."
As you said, one doesn't think that two extra frets would make such a difference – especially for somebody who knows his way around a guitar neck.
Satriani: "It's nothing I've talked about before. Doing these shows has been very important for me as a guitarist on stage. I felt really, really good, and I was able to go from traditional playing to all-out craziness, a real loss of control almost. So with the 2400, it's been an ergonomic thing, but I feel very much at home with it now. Plus, I think the balance between the bridge and neck pickups is right there. We hit a really good, sweet spot.
"The only other change is that I started using this reverb pedal called Wet. I got it about nine months ago, and it's great. It's got such a nice reverb tone to it, it's almost mysterious. I've tried a bunch of things over the years, but the Wet pedal really impressed me."
