Hey Joe! Love your music! After my friend let me borrow his "The Extremist" cd, I immediately went out and bought all your cds. I now love instrumental rock music. Thank you for all you've done! You should come to West Virginia and play sometime!

HI there Joe

It is 2am in Brisbane. First time on here, this is very cool that we can chat to you. I have been listening to your music for 25 yours now. I started playing guitar when I was 15 but had problems with my hands, so I had to stop playing. 4 years ago I worked on them and now I am playing again. cannot make up for lost time but I am enjoying playing again.

love the new solo cd. playing it in my car all the time, when are you coming out to Brisbane again?

I just now noticed that the rhythm guitar on part of "The Traveler" sounds like the beginning of "Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix...

Write a letter

WRITE YOUR OWN LETTER In the spirit of the song "Three And A Half Letters (I Need A Job)", Chickenfoot invites everyone who is in a similar struggle to share their story in the form of the many letters that Sammy received and inspired this song. The song is motivated by the dismal economy, which has led to problems such as hunger and job loss and we hope that by offering a place for people to share their stories and their willingness and need to find work, people in their local communities can reach out to lend a hand. Maybe it's work as simple as cleaning up your back yard or building a fence, or maybe you know someone who has an open job that matches someone's skills - simple things we can all do to help each other out can make a big difference in someone's life.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video here to the right - it puts some powerful images to the real life stories from the song.

The band is also teaming up with Feeding America (www.feedingamerica.org), which is another way to help people in need. Sammy said "I received a lot of letters from people over the years who were looking for help or work and recently I received one from an Afghan War Veteran that ended with 'Can you help? I need a job.’ That really hit me and the song came together. We really want to encourage people to help where they can, and I think one of the easiest ways is by making contributions to a local food bank. I hope we get this message across in this video and while we are on tour."

We will be reviewing all letter submissions and then publishing them here and at shows while we are on the road to help provide a wider audience for friends of the 'Foot in need of work.

Thank you for you Music Joe, holding my spirits up through your music.

My best friend called me yesterday and said that she ended up in the hospital because she had a tumor explode. She is very sick and not well, they are running test to see if its cancerous, on top of all this, she found out while laying in the hospital bed, that she is pregnant. I pray that every thing is ok for her!

JOE your music is so powerful, and its what heals me! Thank you

Congratulations to the band for running the Three and A Half Letters "mailbox", I hope it helps lots of people who are struggling.

Received the UK fan pack yesterday and settled in to read the mag this afternoon. A couple of interesting snippets for me:

Sammy says "Joe is a very quiet guy, he's very serious and he's almost like a professor. He plays his ass off, but he only talks about the music, so unless you're a musician, it's hard for him to connect."

Joe regarding writing a memoir, "My memoir? What would it be about? Woke up this morning, had six shots of espresso, wrote 12 songs" LMAO!!

And he did give up the veganism and return to protein. I must say I'm glad. He looked way too skinny for a while.

And I could be wrong but I think I see our Sir Pip on page 58 in the shot of the Shepherd's Bush crowd. He's the British Austin Lewis :-D

Loving Chickenfoot 111 I have to say loving tracks 3,4,7 & 10 I have to admit did not like 3 and half letters on first play but now I am loving it, think it is the best track on the album. Will you be doing a meet and greet on the European dates this time around. Loved your show in Birmingham earlier this year. Got tickets for both shows this time around, did the two Italian shows last time around aswell as London, have also been to Tahoe 2011, would love the chance to meet you on this tour. Keep the good music coming.

Doing The Medical doctor of Health thing today.I have major problem`s.Well My ATK 406 has not been runnning right Joe it was gettting harder and harder to start then it didnt start at alll not with even like 70 kicks on the kickstarter and everything is perfect. So yesetrday i checked the flywheel made sure the keyway in the crank is goood so that the ignition timing was not out it ,was perfect my crabureator is perfect I have spark and fuel and compression but wont run.Normally im not abeliever in testing for compression to see if your enegine like piston and rings and cyclinder is worn to see if the compression is low and it need to be bored and replace .phoned a friend didnt have one so I want back to my old ways dont need one Toook the WORKS pipe off shined a flashight up the exhaust port into the cylinder the piston is fine went what the heck! .checked it again theirs a BIG CRACK allll the way down the intake carbuerator side of the cylinder whic is why it stilll had compression but wouldnt run.they have sleeves in the cyclinder hey an insert it presss in i dont know wether this crack is roght through to the actual cyclinder though and both cyclinder and sleeve are garbge. it would be probabbly around 2000.000u..s for a new cyclinder I have a cyclinder at home not sure wether it,s a 370 rotax cyclinder or canam 400 it needs a sleeve from where it was blown up off a used engine if the cyclinder is no goood on the 406 and my spare parts one from a used engine is a 4000 can-am cyclinder then I can just order a sleeeve and oversize or even stock piston for it have the machine shop pressin and change the sleeves you see if it,s not arotax 4000 cylinder and mine is yukured un sleveable cracked right theough were talking cyclinder sleedve piston rings pin and bearing for the top end and about 3000.00 so im not even takeing her apart until next year then theirs phonescallls on my moms phone to tony murphy rotax in californina mom doesnt want it abused so maybe end of next summmer if my spare cyclinder is goood or the summmer after it will be runnning again .rigt now 4000 husqvaran 125 can-am and 2560 can am 1975 models dont use em usually hard ion the physic thats my doctor wolf2 for today .How you doing ? wolfie.dont know why it crack i rasna about 24 galllons of shell advance and 20 gallons of castrol supersnowmbile threw it so just old temeprature whatever who know shes sort of due for something but serious exspenseive though plus I have to pulll the enegine right out of the bike so probably couple year and I will just be running my old ones in the mean time winetrs almost here i willl be rideing the formula mx 10 years that cyclinder lasted on the rebuilt engine but oil is know where near as goood and fuel here now is made with hay and straw ethanol anyways later wolf2 and im supppose to have aviation fuel. wolfie.

R.I.P marco. horrible crash. it is unusual for a moto gp crash to end up this way. i dropped my R1 on a track @ 65mph, tucked the front tire coming out of a tight right hand turn and walked away none the worse for wear but with a bruised ego.
