In regards to Joe signing autographs and what-not, I think Joe is one of nicest celebrities you'll ever meet. He's had a lot of autograph signing sessions especially in March 2010 after Live In Paris came out. When I went to see Joe in NYC, he signed both the DVD and my Big Bad Wah. Not only that he took the time to ask me what I liked most about it. He has also been in many interviews discussing his inspiration, songwriting style, guitar tone, lessons, etc. And to top it off, we are on his website which is utilized by his fans to learn about new stuff that he's doing. He occasionally stops by to talk to us directly as well. I'd say we are pretty fortunate, but that's just my opinion.

I wasn't gonna chime in, but now dammit I have to. lol! Joe is the best! He's kind, caring, funny, humble, loves his fans, and if everyone could have just 20% of his optimism this world would be amazing! I don't know what happened, but I do know Joe isn't a fan disser. If he knew he hurt your feeling, he'd probably apologize for it. That's the kind of guy he is.

I've already waited at Dream Theaters bus for TWO hours! Each guy came out and literally feckin ran on the bus with MAYBE a quick wave to all of us who had been standing there. Might have been around 15 - 20 people waiting. Portnoy was the last one out, and I held out hope till the end. He came out and got right on the bus like the rest of them. Everyone was yelling to them as they came out. Not even a "sorry folks, gotta keep moving" or anything. That sucked! I'll never wait for any of them again. I was told you gotta pay to get them to look at you. F that. Never again. That was 5 guys that all had the chance to just say hi & maybe shake hands, and 5 guys who punched the clock before they left the building and were done for the evening. Whatev, Still a Portnoy fan, and I enjoy older DT, but lesson learned with that band.

Joe and his management have gone above & beyond to right things that have been wronged in the past. I don't know how many other guys care that much.

Thing is - they are each one person getting pecked & pulled at by hundreds. Put yourself in their shoes. Being a "rock star" isn't always a cake walk.

Hand shake - not enough. Hand shake, autograph - not enough. Hand shake, autograph, picture - not enough. Hand shake, autograph, picture......

Do that 50x a night....

Well, Chickenfoot - thanks for a fantastic gig at Brixton last night. I loved the Red, White & Blues who played first, and especially their first song, 'Shame Shame' Red White & Blues , but this link doesn't do them justice, they were really fired up & LOUD, I reckon they were real inspired by Sammy, Joe, Kenny & Anthony :-) Alright alright, Big Foot & Sexy Ltittle Thing were some of my favourites from the show, & the boys were really having a great party on the stage, when Sammy wasn't singing he was dancing all over the place! It was a shame that I couldn't see Anthony very well from where we were sitting. I'm sure Kenny seemed to drum much better towards the 2nd half of the show. Joe was really rocking out much more than the 2009 gig it seemed, it was nearly like being at a solo Joe show, but with a big party on stage too! This show really fired me up, & goodness knows how the people standing at the front felt - pretty happy I reckon! Oh & they finished with Foxy Lady - awesome! It was over all too quick, @ 10 50. It hadn't started til about 9 or it might have been a bit after.

I was disappointed that they didn't play 'Come Closer'... but you can't have it all! Feast your eyes on this

Let's face it, English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France . Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down; you fill in a form by filling it out; an alarm goes off by going on.

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

There is a two-letter word that perhaps has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that is 'UP'

It's easy to understand UP meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP ?

In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4th of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions.

If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used.

It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP.

When the sun comes out we say it is clearingUP. When it rains, it wets the earth and often messes things UP. When it doesn't rain for awhile, things dry UP.

I read somewhere, maybe here (?) that Anthony Kiedis had to have foot surgery and the Pepper's tour is delayed for the next couple months. Here's an article from Billboard about it. Makes me wonder if Chad will come back to play any dates for the Foot or if he will just sit back and let Kenny stick to the plan.

I think Kenny just didn't play the right stuff for the first couple of songs (but I am absolutely no expert ;-))...so experts out there correct me if I'm wrong! But he definitely sounded better & completely awesome for the rest of the show. I went to work today with plenty of the concert still inside me..the guys had such a blast, we did too! Wow .....Paris will be rocking right now :-P

Oxley, check this. I don't know much about JB, but this song kicked my ass when we saw him live a few months ago - Slow Train. I bought the Dust Bowl cd, but gave it away. To country for me, but some of his other stuff is awesome.
