Michelle & Vivi - hey girls. I just wanted to add some further vibes & support from this side of the pond. I know I don't post much of late, but always drop by to read when I can

So with that said, even when I'm not posting always know that I and many many others will always be thinking of those going through any kind of tough time and sending whatever good will we can

Phil

Was just reading over the last 5 pages or so of "Joe-postings" ... there's something comforting about seeing the blue, and it's amazing to read all that has happened in the past couple of years and how many peeps Joe has reached out to for congratulations, encouragement or condolences. People really needed what he gave at the time, and continues to give.

Love ya Joe.

How bout Frank. Don't think that's taken :-)

Off to see me mum....

edit: Just got back from the hospital. I joked with my mom that she needs to be in an incubator to keep all the germs off of her (major cold season here). She looked at me and says "Can ya get me one like Lady Ga-Ga's big egg?" lol!

She's a funny bird!

Not much improvement with her though. She was tired and falling asleep in her chair. The doc says she has to move around a bit more, so they didn't want her in bed. Poor thing just wanted to sleep.

I am in love with my new JS100, I have Mo'Joe and Paf Joe pickups that I am going to install, I would do it myself like I did with my other guitar but since there is the coil-tap and everything I don't know if I should try it myself or let Guitar Center do it.

I have read that the bridge on the JS100 isn't that great, and I should replace it with the one on the JS1000 or 1200. and how much does a bridge/installation cost?

I also saw a pretty good size used Vox combo amp for $200 and and big used Marshall combo for $300. I don't remember what model specifically tho. It is tempting but I already spent nearly $1000 for the guitar.

Hopefully I will have a video soon, but my audio interface broke a while ago, i sent it in to Alesis sometime late august/early september and never heard from them.

Joe,

is there any chance that would adding some of your music to the Rocksmith software? Its the only software that lets you plug in any real electric guitar to your xbox or ps3 or pc. learn as you play along.

As a long time fan, I would love to learn to play guitar with your music and also some Chickenfoot!

Right now they have about 60 songs that are official licensed to be in the software and they are looking to add more.

sure the software is written by a game company, but its not really a game. it does not use those fake plastic buttons. You plug in any guitar that has a 1/4" jack on it, and learn to play real music.

Having just been to Gary Hoey's HO HO Hoey concert: I have a North American G3 idea... Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Gary Hoey.

Also Joe, have you ever thought about a Christmas, or Christmas oriented album? I think your spin on Chirstmas songs would be fascinating.

$800 +$50 tax + $150 for new pickups, so about $1000.

I was at guitar center and bought a new audio interface and recording software. yay!

and I saw that the JS1000 that I play everytime I go in there went from $1800 to $1100.

The Marshall amp I mentioned earlier was a valvestate, and the Vox was a valvetronix.

Haven't been here in a while, but I figured some people may like this video lesson I did for www.jetcitymusic.com.

It's a Sweep picked Cmaj13#11 arpeggio. I never get tired of Lydian!

Here

I did several licks at the same time when this was filmed, a new lesson will be posted each week. It was an honor to be asked, it's a pretty cool company.
