Shel - this isn't the best video but I took this vid of Carlos Santana's wife's drum solo last March. Just zip to 7:25mins in the video. I'm not a drums officionado but it looked pretty cool to me. She must have great abs!!

Joe you should throw 'em a curveball and do a jam of your own song Lifestyle!!!

But for you songs setlist: I think everybody here would agree with me that they would love to hear SECRET PRAYER live. And browsing through my CD's I saw Motorcycle Driver and was like......hmmmmmm. Yes.

On the note of Crystal Planet, I could pop that into my computer, DVD player, radio, etc. any day. Still my favorite Satch album and the best thing about it is that's it's probably the longest album he's made. 15 songs that never fail to amaze me. None of them are weak by any means and each one is completely different. Not to mention his beautiful tone all throughout the album. I could go on all night. I better stop now. lol

G'day Joe
Just watched Moneyball was a good movie not big on baseball but was well worth the watch you must of been stoked to be asked to play the National anthem for a movie based on a true story of the A's notching up a massive 20 straight wins which is to this day still the American Leaugue record and i have to ask the girl who plays Brad Pitts daughter did ya teach her guitar or what she is picking away like a rockstar.
Songs for upcoming G3 Tour
1) Hands In The Air.

2) The Golden Room.

3) Just Like Lightning

They asked him to play the Anthem because he actually played the Anthem at that game in real life.

pretty cool huh?

The only reason I saw Moneyball was because Joe is in it.

:)

Skippy, thanks for that! She started out pretty basic, but then she put some stank on it. Very nice! Plus she gets added bonus points for the wicked fro! She certainly has some speed behind her chops!

Songs for G3 - so hard to pick, so I rarely do, but since I saw a few good ones, I'll echo them & add some - Luminous Flesh Giants, The Golden Room, Searching, Psycho Monkey, God Is Crying, Andalusia, GNAAHH, Super Colossal, Devil's Slide, AWM,AWY.... To many great songs to narrow it down to a few.

Happy Friday peeps!

G3 setlist. Hmmm. Is it gonna be a 3 piece, 4 piece or 5 piece band? Also, who will be on bass? I'm assuming Allen will be?

I'd have to go with: 1. Turkey Man (That was a good suggestion earlier!) that song definitely takes me on a ride. 2. Secret Prayer 3. Slick instead of Satch Boogie 4. and how about some Dog With Crown and Earring!!!!! (Only if you film it, though!), otherwise I'd put Motorcycle Driver in its place. 5. You could break out the doubleneck for New Last Jam! And lastly 6. You could jam out the Mini Colossal song and just not call it that... I think it rocks!

For the Jam: 1. .38 Special, Hold on Loosely 2. Davy Knowles, Tear Down The Walls 3. The Doobie Brothers, Rockin' Down the Highway or go out on a limb and do Heart, Barracuda.... Never heard it sung by a man before!

Michelle - I'd love to see them play one of Gary Moores tracks as he's one of my biggest influences. Not sure if it would happen though as he always seemed very disparaging about Joe, Steve etc.
