Just saw Satchurated... didn't use the 3d glasses after the second song - was brighter without them and not much 3D effect. Fast hour and a half! Rock on, Joe! :) Love Chickenfoot, but really love to see you and hear your solo stuff. Be well! - Bill

Just got back from Satchurated, it was really good, the sound and picture was amazing. 3D was spectacular.

I was a bit dissapointed at how much was cut out. They didn't show Memories, Premonition, Revelation, Mystical Potato Head, Dream song, Why, Always, or Crowd Chant. They didn't play Wormhole Wizards on the Wormhole tour? that's dumb,

I know they had to cut it to meet theater limits. But he plays Ice9, Flying In A Blue Dream, and Satch Boogie at every freaking show, but they don't play some of the new stuff.

And whenever people start waving their hands back and forth, there is always a moron going the opposite direction.

oh well it was still worth it.

Love ya Joe!

I am using a translator, sorry for the english Mr. Satriani: I see you as the best guitarist and also as a father figure and you do a lot to help new musicians, and that is admirable. I want to ask one advice,I have done my melodies, sometimes I can not make it sound like in my head, I think sometimes that sound good but after listening, i find bad, do you have advice for me? I would greatly appreciate. I hope one day be a great guitarist, I hear much music and practice a lot. I would do like you and translating into Spanish some things of importance to American guitarists. thanks

Hey Joe,

I am a theoretical physicist (in training because I only have my B.S.), and I am looking for creative ways to fund my research. There was a time when scientists were funded by wealthy people who were just interested in the advancement of human knowledge. I would like to get that trend going again in this day in age. Physics has been stuck for about 30 years, and I think the reason is due to the way the educational system works. In order to get funding, students have to follow fashions, and most fashions lead to dead ends (mostly due to people being stuck on String Theory). I am following my own path outside of the current fashions, so I will likely not get funding if I follow the normal course of a Physics student. I am asking you for funding because I get the feeling you would be happy to help even if you cannot fund me yourself. If all we can do is start a movement and change the way science is being done, that would be a good start.

I would like to submit a research proposal to you in a more formal place, so let me know what channels I need to go through and whether or not the idea has any appeal to you.

Thanks for considering this if you have read this far.

hi, mr satriani. my name is, ryan. i've been a fan of yours for many years, and i know your music very well, and because of which, it has brought me an interesting opportunity. i heard about the lawsuit with you and coldplay, due to them using a melody you wrote. i have discovered another major artist that has used music you've composed. i wanted to know if you have offer "finder's fee" for bringing it to your attention. please get back to me at your earliest convience. you canemail me, or for faster results, call.

Skippy, there is a Recent spot under featured videos. What's on there now is what's been shown so far. The Foot will probably be the last thing on.

As for Austin being in the audience, at this point I assume he's in every audience of anything Joe or Chickenfoot related anywhere in California. lol!

Nice one Joe!!

Under 'video' on Leno's page there is a spot for full episodes. It might show up there at some point? The "recent" thing isn't any help. lol! It will probably end up on youtube also.

They played Different Devil. Looked great, sounded amazing :-)

Joe, really enjoyed Satchurated. Great selection of songs, and the Montreal fans know how to rock. Galen has an awesome guitar collection. Teaming up with Allen and Mike was one of the best moves you've ever made, they looked like they were having the time of their lives. And Jeff was great of course.

Hey all,

Haven't been on TTJ for years, but thought I'd pop in a see what's up. ;-)

@fignewton1, I saw your long post to Joe and felt compelled to write something. It takes a lot of courage to spill your guts online and share some of the best and worst things that have happened in your life. Kudos for that.

Going into a full-time career in music is something like jumping off a cliff into a cloud. You have no idea if you're going to fly, float, or drop like a rock. The unfortunate truth is that the overwhelming majority do the latter. Only a handful of heroes ever become really successful. About 5% to 10% will make a decent living for a while. The rest will struggle or starve. This is the harsh reality of the entertainment industry.

If you do happen to be one of those who fall, you might not know how far you'll fall or what waits for you at the bottom. You can do something about this, though. Make sure you have a solid foundation to fall back on - a career you can ease back into in case your music career never takes off. Nothing wrong with chasing your dreams. Nothing worse than watching your life train wreck if you don't catch that dream.

Best of luck!
