Not paying much attention to all the great Satch stuff going on. My mom lasted about 24 hours at home before she had to go to the hospital. Today she's not doing so great. The doc says the end is near, but how near no one knows. Medication can only do so much. No one knows what tomorrow brings - for any of us really. But for now, my sweet lil' mama Vivian is tired. Prayers to surround her in Gods light would be greatly appreciated. I haven't said anything because..well, because it's just a pisser and i don't want to make people sad. She might surprise us and pull through another one, but end stage heart failure plus other organ failure just isn't a great prognosis. Anyways, all prayers are appreciated. Thanks.

T-Bones, I love ya to pieces. Thanks for the support.

Under the heading of more awesome news, I just found out that one of my daughter's best friend's brother has just killed himself. At 23 this girl has lost both her parents in the last 4 years from cancer, and now her brother just took his life.

what - the - fuck!!

I held back crying all day. This takes the fucking cake.

Such a precious girl at such a young age with so much heavy shit. It's just not right.

what - the - fuck?

No sympathy for weak people who take the easy way out and commit suicide just goes to show the persons true selfish side there are beautiful people who wanna live and cherish the time they have in this world and then selfish people like that who just give up with no care for what they put their family and friends through that has just made me so FUCKIN mad :( :( :(

So sorry Michelle for the tough times you and your family are enduring. My best Aussie love-vibes to Viv. And suicide is just the ultimate cruelty for those left behind .

Corrrr Satchurated was epic!! What a fabulous concert, truly one of Joe Satriani 's stellar performances. The look of the movie is glossy, and the 3D effects made it seem like the concert crowd was in the cinema with us. The hands holding up cameras and phones seemed to be right in front of us, it was radials.

There was a good crowd, about 60 of us in the cinema in Melbourne, all rocking along as if we were in Montreal.

Knowing the story of how Joe was feeling on the night, about the anniversary of his mother's death, I was stunned at the performance he produced. This show rocked. And since the Wormhole tour (and Chickenfoot) never came to Australia I actually feel like I've been to a show and the big difference is, unlike the fan videos on youtube (great as they are) I got to see the whole band perform at length.

Allen Whitman is NUTS! His energy is fantastic and really added to the show. Good to see Galen, Jeff and Mike in shot most of the time too. Joe and Mike did a lovely duet thing, and I had tears in my eyes when Joe played Littleworth Lane, it was very heartfelt.

For Big Bad Moon the camera angle was from the side, and I was surprised the see that Joe closes his eyes when singing - you can never tell with the sunnies on from the front.

Not a lot of talk from Joe, nor smiles, but you can see he poured everything into that show, and the effect of the movie experience is wonderful. I can't wait to get my DVD now. I think even Mr Skippy enjoyed it (what a sport, he comes along with me, gotta love him).

Thanks Joe, this one is a ripper. Unfortunately the cinema had no posters, was hoping to get one but they didn't have anything up.

Awesome skippy!

My daughter and I just walked in for the 9pm (only) session.

Seems weird seeing joe in a cinema 1 month before live in person.

Thanks peeps. Rough night. Thanks for your love and support.

Jamie, let me tell you something about suicide. It's a bad decision that's made in a split second and instantly regretted. Most people that commit suicide are suffering from some sort of severe depression. People with depression are not weak. In fact, they have to be stronger than your regular "Joe" to continue to fight that battle every day of their lives. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain, not a chosen act of weakness. To me, it takes balls the size of Texas to actually commit the act of killing yourself. Sometimes it's an unintentional mixture of one to many pills with to much alcohol. Sometimes it's more violent. I have no idea how this boy died, but the bottom line is he's gone. The one thing these people are crying out for is love, forgiveness, and a sense of normalcy. If they can't get that in life, as decent human beings, the least we can do is give that to them in their death. Love. Forgive. Then love some more. Support those left behind. Pray.

Thanks.

Sinema Catriani was cool.. Music was awesome and you could almost hear Galen this time! Drums were nice, Mike was cool and Galen looked the usual sweaty self yeeeeeeeeeo

Cool mix too 7.1 surround sound is awesome. Drums sounded cool and the guitar was verrry nice... Much better than the peavy years and overall cool!

Only gripe I have was the set. Sooo much from the new album... Yeah I know it was from the tour but it was missing some cool songs and only one encore awwwwwwwww

Very cool though, loved it

Good luck with shit, M... That's not cool, hang in there fella

Back from a funeral there today meself.. Friends dad died on Monday. Terribly sad stuff.. The dude's an only child and same age as me, if not younger :( + lots of other shit goin on cba explainin!

On a ++ I passed some fancy smancy computer exam, great shit.

Off to play some geetar... Peace, ghetto homies
