The last I HEARD of Joe breaking a string was during the filming of G3: Live in Tokyo. I think he broke his first "e" string during "War". He talks about it during the special features. I think he said he was trying to bend it up to a high F. Obviously you don't see it on the DVD because they stopped the show and re-started the song. But that is when he broke a string. Probably his last during a performance, too.
Any Metallica fans in the hizzouse?? I bought their CD, "Beyond Magnetic" which contains 4 tracks from the Death Magnetic sessions but were not released on the original CD. I've gotta say, they are pretty kick-ass! (IMO). Lemme see if I can find them on Youtube..

Just got a surround system for my house and boy have I missed blasting Joe like this! So freaking amazing! It puts me in such good moods!
My step brother just got married on the 31st. I am bummed I didn't get to make it, but happy for him! Rather interesting, he met the girl online, she lived in sandpoint, as most of you know that's where I was living in idaho, any way, the girl he married just so happens to be Best friends with my dads, girlfriends sister... Make sence? Funny how things happen. Ha. Oh and my step brother I am talking about is the son of the family that adopted me when I was 16. No relation to my dad.

FFS, if you're a friend of mine better fall out fast!
Just found out my mate Les has had a massive heart attack, he's probably not gonna survive but we're all praying he does. He was down (peeps giving CPR) for about 15 minutes before the paramedics arrived, then another 20 before they took him to hospital where he has had two stents put in and he is presently in an induced coma. We were having a few beers in the club and I left earlier than usual cause my wife was tired, I would have like to have still been there to help but wouldn't have liked to see him collapse like that.
First little Gemma, now Les, I can only hope no-one makes up the hat trick.

Thanks for the G3 shows in Australia the 2 Melbourne shows kicked arse and the 1 in Adelaide was even better again your sound in Adelaide was the best of the 3 shows even during the Jam ur tone was so clean and just seemed to stand out above Steve and Luke's tone. Was my first time travelling interstate took me 36 yrs to cross the border of Victoria but what better way to do it and see G3 along the way it was a Fuckin Awesome little holiday and thanks for taking the time to say Hi etc and hangout for a minute. Huge Thanks Joe your the best buddy. 3 shows in 4 days pure bliss :) :) :)

Hey guys. I missed the show in Melbourne. Shattered. Just picked up "Satchurated - live in montreal" (the Sony Music Entertainment Australia distribution).
I've listened through twice now - is it just me or has there been an issue with recording or mastering? Seems a little flat and middy (and no, it's not an EQ thing). Not the polished (audio) product I've come to expect.
Will have to check out the DVD and see if it's any better.

Awesome show iN Adelaide. Took my 17 year old son to experience the Satch and he (and myself) were not disappointed. Waited at the abck after the concert as we were told we might catch up with G3. About i hour after the show S. Vai came out for a quick minute to provide some of us fans a hearty hello and thanks. Waited patiently for JS and Steve. No way, straight into the mini bus and on their way. I understand you ahve many gigs in many cities around the world but my son was shattered ( and I was dispapointed) that you couldn't come see the few die hards for a few seconds. My sons Tshirts; and DVD will not be the same. All in all can't ait till you grace our shores again as JS or G3 or Chickenfoot.

Yesteday I had my canadian menatl health association meeting right swung by the yamha dealer where their ordering me my new rotax 470 formula motor for my formula mx from quebec the motor came from it came,in yesterday right man like i say it will be ready thursday for me to pick yup they just have to put my rubbber inatkes on my ignition and flywheel and rotary valve turbo from my motold motor in the new shortblock ,so then illle be an addiitional 1500.00 lighter then im just holding onto it keeping it maybe install it next summmer i neeed a clucth hey I know I can get one from dennni kirk but the shipping would be like almost 100 bucks so myabe tuckers marine can order me the smae thing comet clucth comet makes the best snowmobile cluctcthc she y man it will probbly be gee id like to think 250 nut more likely 350.00 for the new cluctch this brand new qubecec rebuilt whic is where bombardier is and this is all factory original parts will just be ready to bolt right in and run when I get it it,s here they have it their thursady he said to call see if it,s complete for pickup right now like yesdtray i picked up some new Sears catalouges i have to get new shoes man Im thinkingt a pair of slams reebok high cuts right go home see if their available and order them thats it talk to you later wolfinator.

Thanks again peeps, looks like they are starting to bring Les out of his induced coma but very slowly. I don't know how long it was before things got circulating after he collapsed but i've got everything crossed and have asked the Big Boss in the sky to help.
